"a great Sunday dinner for my wife and I; drawn by the view of the platter. we felt that the cost of £72 (including service) was well worth the food; coks everyone, apple wine, prosecco, as well as the plate and one dessert everyone. the food was delicious; only the pork had to touch with a knife so that it falls apart and the bark was tender and pink roasted potatoes were also amazing. friendly reception; beautiful and cool on what was a really hot day. because it was so hot, it was calm, which was also beautiful. the newbury is a firm favorite and it was great to return. handsanitiser and NHS track and traces available where they wait to sit"

"I went to this restaurant with four friends for a meal. It took about an hour for our food to arrive, but overall it wasn't too bad as it gave us plenty of time to catch up. The food was really good and no one had any complaints. We ordered Fajitas, Enchiladas, and Cajun Chicken."

"Lovely wee dinner date with my husband, we both had chargrilled king prawns to start with, which were delicious and a fillet steak cooked to perfection. Make sure you treat yourself to a cocktail or two, the porn star martini was yummy. also want to mention the staff that served us, Cara, cerras, and Gabriel. All very attentive and friendly. "The clams were not properly cleaned and the ritz-cracker crusted haddock was soggy. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants, but it has undergone a disappointing change. The food is overpriced for the low quality. I would recommend looking elsewhere."

"Sunday afternoon we looked in to the ground floor entrance bar, it was quiet. We Walked in unnoticed picked a table, that was marked reserved so moved on to another table and sat down. This table was covered with newspapers glasses wine bucket and various other debris including liquid rolling around it. We browsed the drinks menu while observing the two men behind the bar chatting, drinking (probably water) and really enjoying each other’s company. They did not however pay any attention to the job they were being paid to do so after about 15 minutes we decided they did not want our business and we upped and left. This supposedly trendy bar is just a shadow of its former self. There seems to be no one directing the operation and we will not be back. Very sad."

"The food at this restaurant is absolutely beautiful, which is why it has a 4.8 star rating. The restaurant itself is very clean with a great atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive. We tried the pork bites and BBQ chicken for starters, both were amazing, especially the crispy chicken. For dinner, we had the BBQ chicken burger and chorizo linguine. The burger was fantastic, like the starter but in burger form. The linguine had just the right amount of spice and thick chorizo. The food was high quality and the portions were good. Sadly, we overheard that the restaurant would be changing the following night and would no longer be Italian. Our meal cost £55, including a 10% service charge, which we felt was fair. It's disappointing that the restaurant had to change, but we understand it's necessary. We wish them success and will definitely return if we're in the area again. There is plenty of parking right next to the restaurant. Overall, we highly recommend this spot for dinner with a price range of £50-60 per person. Food, service, and atmosphere were all top notch."

"We have always loved RL and every chance we can go to one when we travel, we go since there is none in our hometown. Words can't describe how upset we were that we spend good money for a below average meal. The seafood was tasteless, the salad was thrown together with clumps of dressing on top. The server was very good, friendly and attentive and I felt sorry for her given what she has to deliver to the tables. The ads on TV are absolutely nothing like the real thing. We should have noticed that there were few people in the restaurant when we arrived. Never again!"
