"We really enjoyed our time at The Mexican. Staff greeted us when we came in, took us to our table and once we were settled, took our drinks order. All done very smoothly. The menus had a nice variety of dishes. We shared loaded fries as a starter very tasty and for mains a vegetable burrito and vegetable enchilada all delicious, perfectly seasoned and with a nice mix of veg used (mini corn, sweet potato, onion, sweet peas etc). The tortillas, cheeses, guacamole, salsa and sour cream were also high quality. Corners could have been cut here, but the owners opted not too. Little things can make a big difference, so thank you for making the effort. It was appreciated. The bill was very reasonable and the whole experience left us wanting to return for more. If you 're in Perth and craving delicious Mexican food The Mexican is a must visit."

"This was our 2nd time to Supha’s, as we had such great food when we visited Plymouth earlier in the year. The food was very tasty and came quickly. Services was also very good, everyone was very accommodating and very friendly. We would go back again, when we are next in town."

"My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Zaikaa Indian Restaurant last night. On arrival we were warmly greeted by a charming waiter who looked after us all evening and explained the different dishes on their extensive menu. I chose the Bangalore Chicken Curry while my sister ordered the Tandoori King Prawn Curry. Both our meals were delicious. In fact, we agreed that in all our years of eating in many Indian restaurants around the UK, the food was the best we had ever experienced. Everything was first class, from the service, ambience and above all, the superb food. This restaurant would not be out of place in London’s West End, with its white table cloths and attention to detail in every aspect. Situated above a parade of shops in Epping High Street, the Zaikaa deserves the highest recommendation."

"The clams were not properly cleaned and the ritz-cracker crusted haddock was soggy. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants, but it has undergone a disappointing change. The food is overpriced for the low quality. I would recommend looking elsewhere."

"The Real Deal! This place has it all for for a great gastronomic experience. Completely refurbished with a charm of elegance and welcome home feel that puts you at ease to relax and ready to enjoy what's to come. The atmosphere and ambience is further enhanced by the warm welcome and most attentive individual attention that I have not experienced in such an establishment for a long time. I came first time with my family and were not disappointed with the range and quality of food available. Good range of beers on tap and bottled, with added bonus of cocktails. The missus had gin-based cocktail which ticked all her boxes. The current menu range was more than ample to satisfy us, and were advised the menu range was to be extended very shortly. Our starters included fish pakora (large with super crispy batter), a massive mixed grill plate; we ordered extra plate of lamb kebabs as they were so succulently tasty. The Masala chips were an excellent side dish too. Each item was very will cooked, perfectly spiced and without all that bright red false food colouring often used by lesser establishments. Main course included an exceptional lamb curry dish and a lamb keema dish that had peas freshly popped from their pods. The naans were fresh, light and thin and perfect companion for the lamb dishes. Although we were stuffed by this stage, the desserts looked too good to bypass, and we were not wrong. The brownie, locally made, with ice cream was an indulgent delight. All throughout, the level of service impeccable, the food hot and fresh and tasty, the environment and atmosphere all came together to make this an unexpectedly wonderful and memorable experience. We will definitely be adding this to our must do again list."

"So we were in Le Monde hotel before we get our train home. We had some snacks and drinks. Nice big armchairs with nice fire on. Nice blether with the waiter. Five minutes before we are due to leave. A female member of staff came over and said ‘ it’s against regulations for your wife to be sitting with her eyes closed’ . I asked what regulations and she said licensing regulations. I said I thought she was talking nonsense. Then a manager came over and reiterated we were breaking the law because Jenny had her eyes closed. My initial thought was surely it’s common in a hotel lounge for someone to be sitting with their eyes closed after eating. Anyway aforementioned manager said we couldn’t sit like this. I said I thought he was being stupid. He told me not to swear at him. I asked what swearword I used and he replied you called me stupid. That was cue for us to get up and walkout without paying. We were incredibly offended. Now if someone had come over and asked if my wife was ok I wouldn’t have thought that unreasonable. I would have said we are leaving in five minutes. I asked the waiter who looked after what he thought of the way we were treated and he said shocking. We said our protests were not a reflection on him in any way as he was a good ambassador. Interestingly there was another couple sitting across from us who said the treatment we got was appalling. The female member of staff had stuck a card on their table which was asking them to vacate their table in a little while. No mention of why to the patrons using the lounge when she put card on table. When they complained, they were told a regular comes in and expects that table. So a lounge with perhaps 8-10 tables, with two occupied, demonstrated how to offend all their customers. I still cannot believe how appalling this establishments customer care is but I will never ever, out of principle, enter that establishment again. When one satisfied customer leads to another. I cannot believe people could be so inept with customer care and communication skills. That’s regulations for you. Sleeping police no less, what next ?"

"Let's start with the good, having not ordered a takeaway for a long time from here (it use to be my go too,.just not had the money of late) I went for it tonight, hungry and couldn't be bothered to cook ! Ordered the prawn toast, sweet and sour chicken balls, satay prawns on skewers special.rice and my fav a large spring roll and extra sweet and sour sauce, got the bag of prawn crackers for free. It was hot, it was on time, the prawn skewers, I ate two they were quite nice. The chicken balls, took one bite and that was enough for me, it just didn't taste right, slimy chicken and just a rubbish taste, the rest remain in the bag, the sauce watery, like it had been thinned down. Prawn toast, okay, slightly over done but tasty. Didn't even bother with the rice after I went to my spring roll, no taste except for grease,it was stuck to the bag with just grease, when it used to be so crunchy and yummy..vile taste still hanging in my mouth now and is all I can smell... all in all a total let down for the 30 odd quid I paid, whatever happened to that great takeaway that once was ! I for one won't be recommending or going back again"

"I 've eaten here a few times over the years when it was Bubba Gump so thought it was a safe bet for a birthday celebration meal before a night at the theatre with my husband. How wrong I was! There was no great welcome with lots of standing around in a cavernous space at the top of the stairs waiting for someone to eventually come to the desk. Then it was not clear if it was a queue or a crowd as the people who got attended to were in no particular order. We had booked and noted it was for a birthday. Maybe I should have mentioned that the birthday person was well into middle age and then we wouldn 't have been seated in the midst of a lot of families with young children more with an atmosphere more like a fast food 'restaurant '. We asked to move but the only other place was a table looking onto an open area where the staff congregated to chat and serve drinks. It didn 't look too clean and was an ugly view. The food was okay but very overpriced for what it was. The main courses were all over £20 and the cocktails were £10. I 'd have expected a lot nicer surrounding and better food for this even in central London. I had the New Orleans Shrimp which were tasty but there was hardly any sauce so was very dry and I couldn 't eat the rice without sauce. I will not be returning."

"The food at this restaurant is absolutely beautiful, which is why it has a 4.8 star rating. The restaurant itself is very clean with a great atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive. We tried the pork bites and BBQ chicken for starters, both were amazing, especially the crispy chicken. For dinner, we had the BBQ chicken burger and chorizo linguine. The burger was fantastic, like the starter but in burger form. The linguine had just the right amount of spice and thick chorizo. The food was high quality and the portions were good. Sadly, we overheard that the restaurant would be changing the following night and would no longer be Italian. Our meal cost £55, including a 10% service charge, which we felt was fair. It's disappointing that the restaurant had to change, but we understand it's necessary. We wish them success and will definitely return if we're in the area again. There is plenty of parking right next to the restaurant. Overall, we highly recommend this spot for dinner with a price range of £50-60 per person. Food, service, and atmosphere were all top notch."

"The service was excellent, and the food was amazing, although it was quite pricey, especially the drinks. However, what struck us immediately was that the ambience seemed more like a nightclub than a restaurant. The authentic Turkish vibe we were hoping for was noticeably missing, apart from a few genuine dishes on the menu and the Efes beer behind the bar. It felt more like a nightclub that served food. I've come to realize that Efsane is clearly appealing to a very different crowd than other local eateries. The atmosphere was reminiscent of a sleek, upscale venue in the city, where people gather before heading out to party. Honestly, as a 43-year-old, I felt quite out of place and a bit ancient! Next time I’m in the area, I might opt for takeaway. The loud club music made it impossible for us to have a conversation or even understand each other’s replies. I’m not suggesting they should have live music with traditional instruments (although that would be fantastic), but the Mediterranean element we were seeking just wasn’t present, and that’s why we came. The food was definitely delicious, though!"

"We have always loved RL and every chance we can go to one when we travel, we go since there is none in our hometown. Words can't describe how upset we were that we spend good money for a below average meal. The seafood was tasteless, the salad was thrown together with clumps of dressing on top. The server was very good, friendly and attentive and I felt sorry for her given what she has to deliver to the tables. The ads on TV are absolutely nothing like the real thing. We should have noticed that there were few people in the restaurant when we arrived. Never again!"
