"Great pub with nice food. Was there for a birthday party and we were able to reserve the snug area. It's a big place with plenty of room and a huge smoking area at the back. They have board games there which is a novel idea and there was plenty of competition between my Niece and Nephew playing chess which was fun to watch! Sounds funny playing chess on a night out but it was good fun especially as they become more under the influence I think there was a large number of craft beers available but I don't drink so can't comment on how good they were or what selection there was.. All in all I would go back. Good atmosphere, great bar food (served up to 10pm which is great) and plenty of space."

"The order was placed well within the delivery time frame as advertised on the Just Eat app. Two hours later and over forty minutes past the notification of estimated delivery, we rang the establishment. The staff member was rude and unhelpful stating that the delivery times stated by Just Eat were inaccurate. The staff member alleged that the order was complete and ready to be delivered but they were waiting on a delivery driver. Another thirty minutes later and still no delivery. We sought clarification via the app and it advised us that the delivery was changed to 8pm. At 8pm, and still no sign of the delivery, we asked for some money back via the app with the assurance that the order would still be honoured and not cancelled. We subsequently received the notification that our entire order was cancelled. At 8.12 pm I have to make dinner for my 8 month pregnant wife when I was ordering her dinner for 6 as a surprise. The whole thing is an absolute disgrace"

"There is one vegan pizza option available on the menu at this restaurant. It costs £12.50 for a 12-inch pizza, but other sizes are also available. "I visited the Hilltop Café for a late afternoon meal, especially since many other places were closed. I was really pleased with my experience. I had a delicious cheeseburger served in a soft bun, complemented by pickles, tomatoes, and caramelized onions. My partner ordered the avocado smash, but without the bread, and instead with chips. They created a lovely salad for her, featuring sliced avocado, sun-dried tomatoes, arugula, and chips (though I prefer chunkier chips). The staff was incredibly helpful, and I even received a complimentary soft drink. The tea was a high-quality Earl Grey with milk, which I enjoyed. The tables were adorned with beautiful flowers, and the lovely sunshades created a relaxed atmosphere reminiscent of a tavern in Greece or the Mediterranean. Overall, it was a delightful experience!"

"I was called yesterday to say that they couldn’t deliver my food as there was road works and it would take 1hr and was trying to get a refund straight away as that was the only money I had left till today when I got paid. I was told I could get the food but it would be cold and I said no as I am not going to pay for cold food the lady I spoke to said it would take 3 to 5 working days then it changed to 5 to 7 working days and I was not happy with this as I then couldn’t order anything else as had no money left I also asked if I could get my order from another shop but there wasn’t one close enough I also asked to speak to the manager that I couldn’t and she went to call someone to try fix the problem and couldn’t solve it and she said I could call and speak to a manager tomorrow and I did but still couldn’t speak to manager and the guy was rude to me when I was explaining what happened and said well I should budget better and said is that all and that he has better things to do so I said to him that he’s being quiet rude and he said I was rude yesterday to the lady. Totally unacceptable don’t order from here."

"Went for dinner before going to a show at the O2. We were running late for our booking due to tube delays, but when we arrived the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. We both had steak which was excellent. Would definitely go back again. Service was exceptional."

"As someone who is lactose intolerant, it can be challenging to find suitable options. However, while many might roll their eyes at requests for lactose-free meals, the staff here quickly provided me with a customized menu to accommodate my needs. For £10, we enjoyed a breakfast that looked just like the pictures, complete with hot drinks, and we ordered some toast on the side. One thing to note: they weren't open at 8:50 AM, but I can't wait to return for that fantastic breakfast!"

"Edit 2: As I expected, their offer to help is fake. They have taken my money and not provided the product while pretending to provide customer support. Do not use or trust this business. Edit: Please do not take the response from the owner as a useful resolution. They post these responses to look good, but have made no effort whatsoever to resolve this situation. They still refuse to refund me for a product which I paid for and was not delivered. Pizza was advertised as taking 25 minutes for delivery however the order took 90 minutes. I had to call the store multiple times to get them to actually deliver the order. When it finally arrived one of the pizzas was not what I ordered. The store have refused to provide a refund and have just offered a 'free pizza ' on my next order which is not even free as I would have to pay for delivery again. I also do not see how being forced to shop at this store again is compensation. They failed to deliver the correct product in the advertised time. I am entitled to a refund according to the Consumer Rights Act as this store took payment for a product that was not provided. If you order from this Domino 's expect to be charged full price, regardless of what product is actually delivered or when it shows up. Do not be fooled into thinking they have good service because the reply to reviews here. This is just an attempt to look good in reality they will refuse to offer compensation outside of the publicly view able reviews."

"This place has always been nice to go to. The staff are nice and don't rush you to go and there is a variety if food/desert options. If its your birthday and you've signed up to their mailing list you get a free birthday sundae which you can use within 1 week if your birthday so great if you want to get something but spend much. Its a little expensive but the chances of you leaving with any item and still feeling hungry is incredibly low. There is often kitchen roll on the table to clean up the mess you make and a bucket you can put on your head for fun I'll keep coming here as people keep getting me vouchers"

"I turned up on a Wednesday, carvery night, more in hope than expectation. Mikaylah and Shaun found me a spot in the bar on what was clearly a very busy night. Service was great and attentive. I ordered a soft drink and a carvery and was able to go up for my food in no time at all. The spread of meat available is always good, but as a creature of habit, I chose beef. The roasties, Yorkshire pudding, and vegetables were cooked to perfection for me. Big thanks to Fabio and Ruby for the service. Overall experience was very good. I attend quite often and have never been disappointed with the food or the service. Given this was a very busy night, I cannot fault my experience. One final shout out to the kitchen team, Shona, Gary, and Bradley. I have never been disappointed with the food, and the beef is always cooked to perfection for me. Will definitely be back. Given the popularity of the carvery, I would advise booking! 5/5"

"Fantastic bagels !! Both my husband and I had one, mine was gluten free and he had a regular one and they were both amazing!! Also, If you have coeliac this place is just a dream. The server was extremely thorough in avoiding any cross contamination what so ever , changed all the chopping boards for fresh ones and layered several sheets of new paper on anything my gluten free bagel might touch. All fillings were fresh and had not touched any of the regular bagels or surfaces. As someone with Coeliac you get used to having little to no GF options so to have the variety of fillings available here without the anxiety of being glutoned is just fantastic. The fact the bagels actually taste so good too makes it a win win win for me. My husband who ordered a regular bagel was also super impressed and happy. Thank you."

"I love seafood, and love watching foodie channels and programmes. For so long now, we've wanted to eat at a place that blew our minds. Howth is great but I have never had the pleasure of a seafood platter like at Matts. We ate it as mains for 2 and it could have been enjoyed by 4 but don't you da4e make it smaller Matt. "we really enjoyed our meal here. came to celebrate our 9th anniversary. Unfortunately, we were not told during our booking that we would only have 90 minutes of the table, as we felt in a hurry and on cursing a bad decision from the office hardly jumped fair on the staff. my main meal was pork belly it was divine 10/10 my man had the rib and he was very happy with him cooked to his lust. I decided for the mont blanc from the festive menu for dessert it was such a disappointment 1/10 bought in meringue very small chestnut and saw chocolate drops that were more like what they melted down for tempting. cote should improve or take it from the menu. I have let the server know of my unmut, unfortunately I have paid the full price for it. our drinks were well made and the wee was excellent, the employees were very friendly and efficient, especially the cookies served. so close to getting 5 stars."

"best dominos pizza! had pizza from a few none are as good as fleet, so if we have pizza now, it's just fleet to which we go. woking is pretty **** poor ive had sloppy pizza burned from there others. had never had a bad pizza from the fleet. even an order 20 minutes before closing bless, they were even open until we get there to collect it. the employees are nice, even had nice talks with the manager. also the suppliers, really good at their job, that is sure! pretty much always give a tip. fast efficient. Eating is always hot boiled braut. so far no complaining. himself wrote to the office to complicate how good fleet store is. we probably order so much, now they know who we are aha. thank you. fleet!"

"Now I've been to the Wardour Street branch and thought it was fine, if a little unmemorable.I came to this Store Street branch at lunchtime and ordered the jungle curry with steamed jasmine rice. The curry was horrible. I had to send it back. Full of woody bits of lemongrass, it was fiery yet tasteless. It also had goose-pimpled pieces of chicken skin floating around in it and it was throroughly off-putting. I know that often cheaper cuts like thigh and leg which have skin on it are used as they have more flavour, but the ratio of the skin and the meat was disproportionate.When I told the waiter I couldn't eat it, he gave me a withering look and said Maybe I should have told you that the jungle curry comes with chicken skin and is quite spicy Err yes, perhaps they should have told me that it would be garnished with flabby skin. But they didn't. It annoyed me that he tried to patronise me like that. I have spent many weeks in different parts of Thailand, and I never came across chicken skin curry after all.Everyone else declared their mains as delicious."

"Old piece of chicken in my zinger and old chicken stripe... disgusting...and seriously just 14 pieces of chips?? Was not even half box! And even old!! Can you imagine you order a box of chips and the portion isn’t make properly (14 pieces!!!! and the rest of the food is old? Are you serious??? About the chips Im pretty sure was just the last bunch of remaining in the chips well... Do you need a diploma for toss that trash in the bin and put on the fryer a fresh bag of chips and fill properly a box?? That was pure negligence from the crew and from the management for don’t check his/her team job. In 2021 any fast food should be able to deliver an decent service, especially because customers pay for that. I’m working as well in the food/hospitality industry and say “we where busy” isn’t an acceptable excuse. Disgusted."
