Fries good and crispy. Service somewhat erratic, it wasn't busy but took ages. Unlikely to go back"

"This last visit was probably the 50th meal I have had at the Angel. The refurbishment of the bar area has ripped some of the cosiness that was there before but is nevertheless very modern although our table was adjacent to the bar and could be affected by noise. We were the only table in use in this area so it lacked a bit of atmosphere. However my main issue is the food. Whilst my main course was cooked very well the amount of food provided in all 3 courses was quite minimal. For a cost of £210 for 3 people this did not signify great value."

"I've been here several times now and our favourite is the bottomless brunch 3 small plates (although, some are not that small) and unlimited drinks including amazing cocktails for 90 minutes. This costs £35 and is fabulous value for money. The staff are lovely from the kitchen staff to attentive front of house. Lovely beer garden at the back. This will continue to be one of my favourite local venues."

"When you send 2 pizzas . Make sure they are made at the same time . 1 was fresh, and the other one was the second time in owen . People aren't as stupid as you may think ... and what's with the bbq wings? They were for different purposes? Did you just dump the bbq sauce on top, and they become bbq wings? "This restaurant has a fantastic location with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating options. The service was excellent, although there was a small issue with the app offer availability. The menu offers a wide range of options for both takeout and dining in, with lunch being a popular choice. The price per person ranges from £1-£10. The food was rated a 4 out of 5, while the service and atmosphere both received a perfect score of 5. Vegetarians will be happy to know that there is a large selection of vegetarian dishes available, and they come highly recommended."

"Me and my partner on our way home from the gym, starving, thought we would stop off in this lovely looking pub. It was December, so at that time we were still ordering food from apps at your table rather than standing at the...bar. from our table we quickly down loaded the app as we had never been in the pub before and ordered worth of food and drink and paid through the app. The waitress who seemed very nice then came over and said she was really sorry but the kitchen wasn't open that night. fine!!it probably would have been nice if there was notices or something to begin with.. but it is what it is.. she said we would be fully refunded within a couple of days... we moved on and had a lovely meal somewhere else. my complaint is that it is now i have sent emails, i have called, i have been into the pub and spoken to the manager, i have called again and sent more emails AND STILL HAVE NEVER GOT MY MONEY BACK. WARNING!!! Do not pay for anything in this pub until you have it in front of you. Just as a second note just encase the manager of the pub reads this and needs a little advice.. I didn't even in all this time get offered a meal (that i have already paid for) and maybe a bottle of wine as a nice gesture, to say sorry. My review would be very different if something as simple as this been offered. I can't comment on the pub itself or the food as i wont be going in there again, shame because we only live minutes away."

"I have always visited this subway as the standards of cleanliness/hygiene and customer service were beyond expectations. the personal was courteous and friendly, the dress code was uniform, i.e., 'protective headgear' caps etc. to stop any hair in the sandwiches or even the food in their refrigerators etc. had worn. I'm usually not one for complaining, but I think the standards seem to slip lately, there are people who don't wear headdress to protection, and finally the workers wear what they feel, i.e. fighting equipment, as if they have come from a war zone, safe subway as a device should carry high standards in hygiene and dress code for their personal too, occasionally I noticed we will make sure that this is not professional, and I will give them only 4 stars at this opportunity. come with subway, you can do it! They were my favorite time for one, they let us up this standard, since no one wants to eat any foreign bodies in their sandwich. d brown"

"Went here for lunch in November we ordered or KFC chicken meals and I am very sad to say that none of the chicken had any of the flavours expected from KFC. Whilst it was cooked well there was no sign of any KFC seasoning on any of the selection of chicken we ordered. Very bad experience and will not be using KFC again if this is the best they can do. Terrible meal. They even nearly forgot the drinks despite repeating the order to me minutes earlier. Had to ask for the table to be cleaned before we could use it. In fairness to the cleaner she did a good job quickly, so thank you for that"

"the room was a good size and clean. windows single glazed, so could hear all the traffic. the bathroom was presented clean and intelligent, but it was missing somewhere to put your own care products etc. shower worked well. the television was a large size in the room and easy to observe. good equipment with additional bonus of replacement stepp, if cold, was not needed as a room nice tempo, hair dryer, water cooker and free cookies. the breakfast was good. had dinner on Sunday evening, that was ok but expensive for quality. total good stay and good location to reach the city, alnwick castle and gardens."

"Very busy location and service took quite a while however it is the environment and general atmosphere that is most worrying in a manner of speech. This is not a place to enjoy a meal but rather pick up something and eat anywhere else. Have no pleasant memories of the visit besides a very friendly a d helpful cleaner who observed me being told there were no sauce sachets and somehow went off and came back with some. "The restaurant is newly renovated. While it might just be a KFC, I only ordered the boneless chicken and corn on the cob, and both were exceptional. The chicken was clearly freshly prepared, served piping hot, and had that signature KFC coating that was wonderfully crispy. Compared to other KFCs I’ve been to, which have sometimes been disappointing, this one truly stood out. I really hope they can maintain this high standard moving forward."

"When we walked into the restaurant, we noticed there were no other customers present, making it quite quiet. My friend went to the counter to place her order while I made my decision. Once she had ordered, the staff informed her that if she waited a bit longer, she would receive a free dessert. She agreed and we waited for my order. The staff, although friendly, seemed a bit disorganized and took a while to take my order. After my friend received her food and was given the free dessert, I asked about my order and was also offered a free dessert to compensate for the wait. It became clear to us that they were encouraging us to accept the free desserts in anticipation of the long wait for our food. Unfortunately, when we finally received our meals, they were cold, overcooked, and completely unappetizing. Despite the quiet atmosphere and waiting time, the food did not seem to be freshly prepared to order as we had hoped. As individuals who work in the hospitality industry, we were extremely disappointed with the quality of the food, especially since this was supposed to be a quick and tasty meal for us as budget-conscious students trying to save money by eating at home."
