"I recently dined at this Italian restaurant with my family, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. We tried a variety of dishes, each leaving a lasting impression. For the main course, the Numero Sei pizza stole the show. Its melt-in-the-mouth texture, soft interior, and perfectly crunchy crust made it a standout. Infused with Italian sausage, salami, and mushrooms over a fresh tomato sauce, and finished with bubbling mozzarella, this pizza was a symphony of flavours. The Melanzane alla Parmigiana offered another indulgent delight. The rich tomato sauce smothered the luscious aubergine, creating a mouthwatering combination that was enhanced by a generous layer of cheese. The Bufalina pizza, my personal choice, was a homemade masterpiece. The pizza boasted a perfectly cooked base – crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The beautiful and creamy buffalo mozzarella, complemented by the deep basil, added layers of flavor that delighted the taste buds. We concluded our culinary journey with two distinct desserts. The Chocolat Souflé provided a sweet and decadent ending, while the Gnocchi con Nutella, featuring gnocchi filled with Nutella and vanilla ice cream, was a unique and delightful treat. Beyond the exceptional food, the staff contributed significantly to our positive experience. The team was not only lovely but also engaged with us, providing insightful recommendations. Their friendly demeanor added to the overall warmth of the restaurant. The ambiance and decor were equally praiseworthy. The beautiful restaurant created a welcoming atmosphere that enhanced our dining experience. From the moment we entered, we felt the charm of the surroundings, making it a memorable evening for my family. In conclusion, this Italian restaurant not only offers an outstanding menu but also stands out for providing exceptional value for money. The Bufalina pizza, in particular, highlights their commitment to quality without compromising affordability. "Firstly I was not given a clean menu (provided to every guest), I was simply sat at the table and the big dude who showed me to my table did not explain that it's a QR code menu (where you take a picture of the code, and get the menu on your Smart Phone). I arrived before my friend, and not once was I asked if I wanted to order a drink first, even when I waved for the waitress's attention she just nodded her head but didn't come over until minutes later. One waitress did not understand much English, my friend had to ask for ice twice which we didn't get, and on the third asking the waitress apologised for not understanding. The big dude who I suspect is the boss manager wasn't pleasant when we were deciding which bottle of wine to settle for, we of course wanted to taste first which he obviously didn't like, and even said the more you taste, the less you will be able to taste the flavour' however, we had only tested different wines at that point so personally I felt he was rude. This was a lockdown ease dinner which we were really looking forward to however, felt that it wasn't a hygienic experience. Our temperatures were not taken before entry (like other restaurants do), there was no hand sanitiser either upon entry or at the table, not even in the toilet (note that there is only ladies toilet which was blocked, but customers were still allowed to use it), tables were wiped down between each seating but not the chairs, aircon was not great, or even on for most of the evening, we were sat upstairs next to the Gents outside staircase, and could constantly smell cigarette smoke. I felt grubby by the end of the meal, on top of all of that the head waitress decided to put a tip on top of the bill without us realising,I said to divide the bill equally-she rounded it up before dividing so made tip from each of us (which isn't much but that is not the point), I thought it was cheeky, but only realised when I looked at the receipt properly."

"The venue is lovely however .... if you want more than a cup of tea forget it ..... the service is poor and confusing, it took an era for rolls which were cooked from frozen.... when they did arrive they were burnt to a...crisp ..... the place was quiet so I dread to think what the food or service would be like if busy.... it was a lot of money for burnt food"

"The pasta was so cold and arrived very very late. The starter also arrived with much waiting time and further they served a wrong dish without excuse us anything. Very bad education and very bad service. They asked us to pay twice with payment of fork and payment at cashier. It was horrible experience I have never had."

"Food was a mix of underwhelming just okay. We ordered the calamari (don’t recommend- flavourless didn’t taste fresh), mushroom arancini (these were good), and the vegetariana pizza( not bad but forgettable), broccolini side (good- probably the highlight) While the food was okay, service was pretty bad. They managed to mess up our order, which meant that our pizza and broccoli was either given to another table or cancelled and came out VERY delayed (they denied it and one of the severs was sassy about it)….. Don’t recommend this place"

"Went for a late dinner. A cozy Italian restaurant. The pictures talk for themselves. Just lovely. Would love to come back for another dinner at this place, next time I 'm in London. I do recommend this restaurant if you are in the area, because this one sticks out from the other Italian restaurants, and there are a lot of them. The place was not crowded and seams like the staff had put reserved card on tables, even though it was not reserved. A little strange, but maybe a trick to make it look busy. I just don 't think its a good idea. We almost did not walk in, because we saw all the reserved cards on the tables."

"A special lunch to celebrate the life of a very fine friend, and it didn't disappoint. The last time we visited Zafferano was several years ago, to finalise details for a special trip. Zafferano is now even finer than we remembered. A professional but charming and relaxed Italian Restaurant with equally charming and discreetly attentive staff. We started with a steaming hot Minestrone soup and a Fusilli tomato pasta dish. Both were very tasty and beautifully presented. Our mains were honeyed chicken breast with roasted potatoes green beans. Desserts were hot apple pie with a custard base, topped with ice cream, all of which tasted marvellous. We would often have wine but didn't this time. Nevertheless, the wine list options are sophisticated and significantly vary in price. Although, it depends on what you choose, a meal here can be quite expensive. However, Zafferano is outstanding in every respect."

"Every time I have been in Milan in the past five years or so, after checking into the hotel; the Cin Cin Bar is usually my first port of call! It 's a great place to sit outside and people watch. Sitting beside tourists and locals alike, the menu is extensive, the food is tasty and very reasonably priced and the staff are excellent, especially the waiter Yosh/Josh who knows well that my 'last beer of the evening ' will be anything but and continues to come over and ensure that another is forthcoming! Very amiable, pleasant staff. I have been to this bar/restaurant so many times and now don 't even bother going anywhere else....and that sort of says it all. Will be back again in two weeks time and very much looking forward to it."

"I tried this restaurant 2 days in succession, once on my own and once with a guest. In terms of the environment, the restaurant has a nice feel, open plan kitchen and good bar area, major issue is the tables are too close together. The food is very accomplished. The carpaccio of beef was slightly underflavoured, so perhaps an air dried bresola may be a better option, this dish needs the best parmesan, rocket and olive all, all which could be improved to make this dish great, albeit probably have to increase the price. Squid rings and aubergine starters were also good. Main highlights were the rib-eye which was buttery and succulent with great flavour, and slightly better on the first night. The truffle pasta was also good, but needed the additional of parmesan to bring it to life. The chocolate puddings desert is great. A nice wine list with an excellent Barolo, available by the glass. Service is very good, attentive, friendly and knowledgable."
