"Went for a late dinner. A cozy Italian restaurant. The pictures talk for themselves. Just lovely. Would love to come back for another dinner at this place, next time I 'm in London. I do recommend this restaurant if you are in the area, because this one sticks out from the other Italian restaurants, and there are a lot of them. The place was not crowded and seams like the staff had put reserved card on tables, even though it was not reserved. A little strange, but maybe a trick to make it look busy. I just don 't think its a good idea. We almost did not walk in, because we saw all the reserved cards on the tables."

The quality of the food was shockingly poor. Service was dismissive. Why is this restaurant still open? They do not want customers.

Terrible experience! The service was very poor, and the owner showed us no respect. They even told us not to come back. I do not recommend this restaurant at all.

I have dined at this charming, family-owned restaurant multiple times and have always enjoyed the delicious food. Our most recent visit last week was no different. I highly recommend trying the tagliatelle ragu dish. View menu

Having eaten at many pubs in London, we stumbled upon this fantastic restaurant. The Italian food was authentic and absolutely delicious. The owner, Umberto, was incredibly hospitable and attentive to our needs. We will definitely be returning the next time we are in London.

I came in quite early for dinner, tempted in as I turned down a cosy quiet lane, but everything was perfect, lovely, and oh so fast (but that is the benefits of early dinner! A large glass of the house Sangiovese, delicately flavourful Pollo con limone and a fried courgette temptation that I wholly recommend covering in cheese. Just what I needed tonight. Highly recommended.

The location and setting of the Restuarant are really good. The staff were welcoming and friendly and aimed to please. The reviews praised the pasta dishes, but we went for two meat dishes. These were not good. The food was served warm; the broccoli was limp and wet and the meat was overcooked. These dishes were poor value for the money. Most other diners were eating pasta …… View menu

We were so pleased to return to Cosmoba tonight. This is a place in the heart of Bloomsbury that transports you to Italy. It’s not just the great food and wine. It’s the atmosphere. This is a restaurant filled with laughter, of people talking within and across tables, of the magic of Umberto and his team’s brilliant hospitality. The food is simple but stunning. The wine list is well chosen. The ambience is incredibly special. So, yes, great to be back at Cosmoba. We had a stunning evening.

Nice enough food but very rude server. We ordered a starter and main but as we were ordering the waiter got distracted by another waiter asking him a question and never asked if that completed our order or if we wanted to order anything else. As soon as he turned back around we asked if we could also order a side to which we were told no the order has already been given to the kitchen. We thought he was joking but no side ever showed up. My brother was running the London marathon the next day so could have done with the extra carbs!
