"Great resturant, really good food. Prawn Coaktail was lovely and the Fillet Steak was cooked to perfection. Great friendly service and Rachel on reception was very helpful. Only slight disappointment for me was the Panna Cotta. And somebody really really needs to do something about the play list. Backstreet Backstreets back and Another Level Freak Me on a loop mixed in with a compliation of the worst of the and No. Just No. That playlist is completely inconsistent with the entire hotel and resturant. Apart from that we really enjoyed it and will be back"

"had a nice family dinner with good choices for all including a child and a vegetarian. the two veggie burger options were great, haggis nachos fab and the salmon salad plentiful. the chips were excellent! only slightly left off was the pizza that had a little heavy base for our lust. beautiful clean toilets and covid safe with lots of space between tables. staff efficient and friendly! would definitely return and recommend everyone."

"We were disappointed to find that breakfast wasn't available, so we decided to order a simple meal of ham, egg, and chips. After waiting 30 minutes without any sign of our food, we asked about our order, and suddenly, our meals appeared as if by magic. Unfortunately, they had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while, resulting in a rubbery, cartoonish appearance. The ham was just a warmed-up slice from a package, reminiscent of the cheapest fare usually served at children's parties."

"Our experience at this restaurant was not great and only got worse. Upon arrival, they did not have our reservation, but the restaurant was not busy so it should have been fine. However, we were made to feel like an inconvenience. It took a long time for our drinks to arrive and even longer for our food, with one meal missing altogether. There was not much of an apology for the mistake, and we had to flag down a staff member to let them know. After waiting another 20 minutes, we had to inquire about the missing meal because we couldn't get anyone's attention. We asked for tap water that never came and had to flag down a server for more drinks. When the second round of drinks arrived, the order was incorrect. The food was decent and the drinks were good, but despite booking a table for two, we did not leave until 3:30 due to slow service. We had only intended to have a quick lunch before needing to be elsewhere. It is unfortunate, as the restaurant is nice, but there appears to be a serious issue with training, staff morale, or both. We would not recommend this place. There are better options for cheaper where your custom may be appreciated more."

"I visited with two friends last night and we loved it! The food was incredible (especially the calarmari and borek!) and we all really liked the wine too. Service was great with attentive, efficient waiters and the atmosphere inside the restaurant was really nice. I'm local and have been meaning to come here for about a year now! "Wow, what a little gem of a place! Visiting Cheltenham for the first time, after exploring the town, feeling a bit peckish, sort of stumbled into Vegetus. Not exactly on the high street, but a few minutes walk off the main drag. Cosy, and welcoming, quite busy on Saturday lunchtime, we hadn't pre booked, so we sat outside in the sunshine for a few minutes while our table was prepared. The vibe is decidedly middle eastern, with the jolliest of hosts. His infectious good humour permeates the place. Spotlessly clean and well organised, we ordered a tagine and a mousaka, with the Beirut cooler for a non alcoholic drink. Both generous servings were delivered after a few minutes, piping hot and delicious. For dessert we had warm baklava with ice cream and a totally yummy (egg free) chocolate cake. The desert was so good, we split it, boxed it and took a slice home for our daughter! I cannot recommend this place enough, we now have a good reason to go back to Cheltenham. Try it, you will love it."

"After hearing great reviews and being a fan of Middle Eastern cuisine, I decided to give this restaurant a try. I was disappointed with the slow service, as the waitress took 5 minutes to come and take my order even though the restaurant was empty. The starter I had ordered did not arrive as requested, and a different starter appeared with the bread that was supposed to come with my main course. To make matters worse, my main course arrived before I had even touched my starter, and my drink was never served. When I pointed out the mistakes to the waitress, she brought the wrong item and did not seem to understand the issues. The person who I assumed was the manager also did not address the problems effectively. Despite the decent quality of the food, the overall experience was disappointing and marred by poor service. Additionally, I was charged for the incorrect starter that was brought to me twice."

"I made a reservation at this restaurant for Father's Day and I am so happy that I did. It was easy to find parking outside, the decor was lovely, and we were seated at a nice table by the window. Our waitress, Beth, was outstanding. She made us feel very welcome and provided excellent service. We had a wonderful time at Joe's Kitchen. The food was delicious with a variety of options to choose from. The atmosphere was cozy and beautifully decorated. Beth was so friendly and engaged in conversations and laughter with our table. She is exceptional at her job and we all had a fantastic celebratory meal thanks to Beth and the rest of the team. I would definitely come back to this restaurant and recommend it to my colleagues, family, and friends."

"Expectations not met ... no Sunday lunches on offer was told when we arrived “we haven’t anything left “ this was at 5.45 ?? They had tried to ring us and I checked missed call at 5.40 but Was driving unable to answer phone a bit short notice anyway! Not good really saying it was Sunday and advertised as one of the main options on the daily menu “bad management “ we did order another option and it was nicely presented and very tasty but steak served on a wooden platter Doesn’t work when you order sauce as a side just got messy.. on requesting our bill and ready to pay we was then told they couldn’t take card payments and was taking cash only !!! Why tell you at the end of your meal ? Embarrassing!! nobody carry’s much cash around with them was lucky there was a cash machine across from restaurant.. may I suggest you tell your customers before sitting down . Would I go again Yes I think I would Maybe we just picked the wrong day ."

My friend and I dropped by to try their sharing platter for two £18) which could have fed 3 4 people three grilled meats, rice, salad, hummus and flat bread). Generous portions, high quality and beautifully presented/cooked. The lamb shish was juicy and tender, salads super fresh and flat bread freshly grilled and dressed in olive oil. Warm, friendly and detailed customer service, too. I can’t wait to go back. Puts my faith back into local, family run restaurants. Local London food done right. The rest of my dining companions also enjoyed their meals, though one thought the chicken tagine could have used more sauce. "The food at Dar Marrakesh was once again absolutely fantastic, which is why I returned with my entire team for dinner after a long day of meetings. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the service this time. The young lady serving us seemed annoyed to be working and was not very helpful when we asked about the menu. Despite the delicious meals, we had to wait almost an hour to pay our bill, which was unacceptable. "The food at this restaurant was very good, but the staff was rude and judgmental. My daughter, who is a veterinary nurse, was told that they didn't offer her more drinks or dessert because they didn't think she could afford it. She would never eat somewhere she couldn't afford. The offer of a free meal was declined, as there was concern it may be tainted. Overall, the service was very disappointing. Dining in for dinner was the meal type."

"The food was very tasty with a good selection, brilliant salad bar to compliment the mains. Deserts were also plentiful with fresh waffles and pancakes being made. The resturant is in a good spot overlooking the Southwater lake and convenient for the park to work it off in afterwards (for adults and children . My only negative is that it wasn't as clean as it could have been. Crockery and cutlery not washed well so had to root for a suitable plate to use."

"The food at this restaurant was mediocre at best. Many dishes were overcooked and rubbery, with some appearing to be reheated. The salad was starting to go soggy and tasted off, while the noodles were both hard and burnt. Surprisingly, even the watermelon was dry, which is something I have never experienced before. Overall, it was quite disappointing, especially since we came for my daughter's birthday expecting a wide variety of choices but ended up with limited options. The price we paid did not match the quality of the food we received. I would not recommend this place."

"I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"Wonderful evening! Thank you to the team at Renoufs Southbourne. We had a lovely evening with some fantastic cheese and wine! We ordered the £39.95 sharing board which came with a choice of 3 meats and 3 cheeses, pate, bread and pickles. We added a baked camembert, hot chorizo and one extra cheese. Probably a mistake on our part as we had to leave some as there was so much! The cheeses were lovely, in particular the Red Devil chilli cheese was gorgeous. The meats were great, especially the venison salami. Special shout out to James, the manager and sommelier, who suggested the orange wine, Martin Codax. It was really quite special. Thank you! We should also mention Imogen, who took our order and was very polite, professional and friendly. We ordered gluten free bread, but we didn't make it clear it was for the both of us (our fault), so when 2 baskets came out, one gluten and one gluten free, they changed the gluten one without quibble. Lovely ambience, fantastic staff and some of the nicest cheeses we have had. Also, very reasonably priced. Thanks guys, and see you again soon!"
