"Had an unexpected lunch with a friend and the food was absolutely delicious. I had a steak sandwich with rosemary salted chips gravy. My friend had battered Haddock and they said it was the crispiest battered they had ever had with the fish being perfect inside. I was a wee bit disappointed that they no longer served Birra Moretti even though the tap was still on show, however Louise, our very pleasant waitress, recommended a new alternative which was actually ok. I would definitely go back without any hesitation."

"We needed a quick lunch before heading elsewhere, and Sosban Fach fitted the bill perfectly. The men ordered toasted sandwiches (lots of choices of fillings, breads, etc) and I had a bacon and egg sandwich (good runny egg). The sandwiches came with a small salad accompaniment including homemade coleslaw they make their own coleslaw, salad dressings ... and marmalade. The waitress was very friendly and attentive, and there was a good choice of food on the menu and specials board, plus good looking homemade cakes. I will visit again next time I am in Lampeter."

"We actually went for dinner on the Saturday and lunch on Sunday. The service delivered by Hannah, on Saturday, and the young lady with three dyed parts in her hair, on Sunday, was efficient, friendly and a pleasure to experience. We found that there were more staff available since the refurb and the menu was more interesting. The children’s menu was far better than it used to be. Our food was also nice and the atmosphere was not deafening as in other restaurants where you cannot hear yourself think. An ask from us would be more healthy salads as mains please and some fish options that are not fried. The dishes have quite high calorie counts. Thank you!"

"**Takeout Review** **Meal Type:** Dinner **Price Per Person:** £1–10 **Food Rating:** 5/5 **Service Rating:** 5/5 **Atmosphere Rating:** 5/5 I recently had a takeout dinner, and I couldn't be more pleased. The food was exceptional, earning a solid five stars for its quality and flavor. The service was equally impressive, with a friendly staff that made the experience seamless. Additionally, the overall atmosphere, even for a takeout order, was top-notch. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a delicious meal at an affordable price!"

"I had lunch with my Spanish in laws and wife during our honeymoon trip to Loch Lomond. The food was nice, portions decent and bar staff friendly. However, I have decided to give a 3-star rating because of my experience with the establishment following this. We parked our rental car in what I now know is the Balmaha overflow car park. For anyone reading this, I would urge you to avoid this car park and use the official council run car park nearby cheaper with clearer terms). The overflow car park is run by Civil Enforcement but owned by the proprietor of Oak Tree Inn. I received a PCN from CE for parking in the overflow car park despite having a valid ticket that more than covered the length of our stay stay 4 hours, ticket valid for 12 hours) and patronising the Oak Tree Inn. I appealed to CE but they declined on the basis that although I had a valid ticket, I had purchased it 25 mins after entering the car park and not within the 10minute period they mandated. I was unaware of this stipulation but had already notified them that prior to purchasing the ticket, I had to hurriedly take an unwell dependent passenger to the nearest public bathroom, whilst the other passengers waited in the car for us to return. Predictably they didn’t care. Having taken advice from POPLA, I emailed the management at Oak Tree inn to explain the circumstances so that they could instruct CE to rescind the ticket. They issued a one line response stating that as I had launched a formal appeal to CE, they could not help although according to POPLA as the land owners who contract CE to operate the car park this is untrue). Once my appeal was rejected by CE, I wrote several further emails to the Oak Tree management seeking their help that were ignored. I did manage to speak with the proprietor who kindly let me know he would look into the matter, but one month later have heard nothing concrete back. Rather than risk escalating costs, I reluctantly decided to pay the PCN. So having paid Oak Tree Inn £70 for a lunch for 4, we are a further £95 out of pocket £5 parking ticket, £60 PCN, £30 car rental admin fee due to paid PCN) despite having a valid parking ticket to more than cover our visit and simply because I needed to briefly attend to an unwell dependent passenger. As a hospitality business, I can’t help but feel you have a duty of care to your patrons, to meaningfully engage with them when they turn to you for help, and to operate an independent corporate governance framework that seeks to protect them from unjustified financial exploitation. We feel let down by Oak Tree Inn in this regard and our visit has left an unnecessary dark cloud over what was an otherwise lovely honeymoon in Loch Lomond."

"If you're looking for a tasty vegan junk food spot, Uwee is the place to go! They offer a variety of options such as Beyond Meat burgers, fried seitan burgers, loaded fries, sides like popcorn tofu and mac n cheese, and even churros for dessert. I visited with a friend and we shared the big Uvee burger, Cluckin' wafer fries, and mac n cheese. The burger was delicious - the Beyond Meat patty was a great start, and the toppings really made the flavors pop. The Cluckin' wafer fries were huge and tasty, and the mac n cheese was solid. Overall, Uwee offers fantastic vegan fast food options that are sure to satisfy any cravings."

"I get so used to 'chain ' cafe 's on stations selling a similar range of plastic food and over large bland coffees, that I was really wowed by the Stottie Company. The food is fresh, good and tasty. They have a suitable range of food for those needing something between trains, but also do well if you have more time than you like and need to dawdle. Service is good and pleasant. In short gaps you don 't want to wait for food, and my sausage and egg sandwich only took about 5 minutes. Coffee was freshly brewed and good, and my muffin was very nice. Middlesbrough station wasn 't busy, so I hope they do enough business to keep going. I would certainly go there even if I weren 't catching a train."

"Myself and my partner have visited papas twice in the last week. I would say this is by far, the best place for breakfast in the area. Our first experience was good. Although girl serving us seemed inexperienced (possibly New) she was polite and well...presented and food was really nice. Around 4 days later we decided revisit. Second experience was exceptional. The girl serving, was attentive to our every need. The food again was lovely. Will certainly return soon."

"We received a warm, friendly, and enthusiastic welcome at the restaurant for myself, my friend, and her little dog Woody. From the beginning, we were informed about the limited menu, but there was no reason to complain. Although my meal wasn't listed, all the individual ingredients were available in other dishes, which was perfect because I'm following a weight management plan and wanted to stick to it. I was pleasantly surprised by the staff’s willingness to be flexible and accommodating—I've rarely seen such readiness in a pub or restaurant. In fact, the last time I experienced such service was at The Ritz in London! I’d rate Breeze Hill a perfect 10 out of 10. I just wish we had visited more often, but we definitely will be back!"

"We visited on the 6th January for a child’s pizza party to celebrate our son’s 5th birthday and we were absolutely over the moon with the whole experience. We were greeted warmly on arrival and shown to the area which had been reserved for our party. Everything was laid out ready and looked fantastic. The party ran so smoothly from start to finish, and everyone had a fantastic time. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful and went above and beyond to make our son feel special. In the run up to the day Terri (the manager) was always on hand to answer any questions, she made the whole process so easy, and was extremely helpful. We would like to give huge thanks to Terri, Tracey and Dan for making this such a wonderful experience and would highly recommend the pizza parties to anyone considering this as an option for their child's birthday. Thank you all once again for such a great day. Ben, Heather and Cillian."

"this was the first time here when I saw that it was recommended by locals in epping. after coming in the inner was very cozy and the atmosphere was really nice. we were on the inside through the window that was very breezy and the lighting was very nice. the menu has a selection of breakfast, burger, wraps, pasta, desserts, pages. (size) eating delicious and the presentation was perfect, it made me hungry to look at her. the portions are very generous and the quality of the plate was beautiful. I and my friends had ordered the following: crispy chicken burger, English breakfast and poppy breaky (French toast). as for the drinks was the order flat white groovy green smoothie, fresh orange juice. the only way was the service. it was a fight to tie every waitress here to order our food and then pay for the food again. I felt like they had many employees, but hardly a waitress. we had to go to the recipe to pay where we stood for a few minutes before we were recognized. minus the service I really enjoyed eating. we would definitely recommend and return. the quality of everything was really fresh. the orange was pressed fresh by a machine that was visible. the shop has been modernly decorated, but with a rustic feeling. the restaurant was neatly large and the place was full of customers who already had their food or just immersed for a coffee / tee break."

"A lovely meal was had at the Shepards rest in Westhill. Me and a few friends live in the local area and this is definitely the best restaurant in the area. Our server Lauren was very helpful and an asset to the restaurant with her wonderful customer service. Me and my friends all had burgers and all of our specific’s were met with ease and the food was served in time. We all enjoyed our beers and gins that we ordered. Reasonably priced and the food quality was perfect if not better than expected for a local pub and grill. Been here many times before and have had a great experience each time. I tend to recommend this place to anyone that I meet that is visiting Westhill and there surrounding area. Keep up the good work."

"Met up with two friends from Spain today Tuesday 5th April 12.30-3 pm. Didn’t get any names but the service was exceptional especially the blonde woman who was so pleasant and helpful. Really wanted to tell her how much a difference she made to our...lunchtime experience. Sadly I think we’ve got too used to mediocre service. Food was standard pub grub, great value and cooked to perfection. I had the Hunters Chicken which is a favorite of mine but can be dry. This was perfect so compliments to the chef also. My companions opted for good old fish and chips which looked and (I believe) tasted superb. We were all happy and had a fantastic well over due catch up Thank you also for the lovely person who ran out to our car with the scarf I had forgotten. We owe YOU a drink next time. . We will definitely be back."

"Went back to this Pub for a Valentine’s Meal with friends. Eight of us in total. The staff were busy still decorating the Restaurant when we arrived early as we had pre dinner drinks. They made a lovely job of it with special balloons grouped...on walls, red table runners decorated with Valentine Crackers, Valentine Dice, Valentine Jokes and Red Heart and Ladybug Chocolates. Also lit night light candles in holders. We pre booked our meal and everything was as ordered. Starters were varied but we all had Fillet Steak which was great. We also chose different desserts, most of us going with Lemon Cheesecake. One of our party had Cheese and biscuits which could easily have fed three. Good variety of cheese. Lots of empty plates and happy punters! The Restaurant wasn’t packed but quite busy with other parties eating. The Prosecco was nice and dry, how I personally like it, which was complimentary."

"Located perfectly in the car park next to Treyarnon beach, this restaurant offers a variety of high-quality burgers, sausages, bacon, and pulled pork rolls, as well as other menu options and a wide selection of drinks. Despite having multiple allergies, including gluten and dairy intolerance, I was able to enjoy a delicious chicken and lettuce gluten-free wrap. The quality of the food exceeded my expectations, and the prices were quite reasonable. The staff were all friendly and attentive."
