"I love this Chinese Take Away. It is run by a lovely family who are always polite and helpful. It is clean and always smells so good. If I could buy the scent of their food as a candle, my house would be lit up with many tiny, dancing flames. The portions are large and you have the option to order any dish on the menu as an even larger portion for a very small price increase. The hot and sour soup is a particularly delight, with a deep flavour you don't get anywhere else. The only gripe I could possibly have is that they only use thin noodles for their chow mein. My daughter loves the thin noodles but I prefer medium or udon. If they offered a choice of noodle size this place would be perfect. But that is a small complaint and only based on my own preference. Seriously, give it a try, you won't be disappointed."

"I have been dining at this restaurant for the past four years and have always enjoyed the consistently good food. I have never had a bad dish here. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, it is definitely worth it for a special treat. They offer a good variety of dishes, delicious desserts, and the service is usually excellent. In my four years of dining here, I have only had one experience of subpar service, which was likely due to the restaurant being extremely busy."

However, when my party of ten arrived at the restaurant, which was only half full, we were told that there was no table available for us because their booking system had not been updated. The staff refused to accommodate us. This was a terrible customer experience and I will not be returning to this restaurant."

"This restaurant review starts off on a negative note, describing a disappointing experience that didn't set the holiday off on the right foot. The reviewer was greeted by a lady to book a table, only to be told that they had no fried eggs or poached eggs, offering only scrambled eggs instead. Despite a pitch about full English breakfasts, the lady seemed more upset than the diners. After waiting what felt like ages for two teas and two bacon rolls, they witnessed another customer sending back their full English breakfast because it was cold. When their own bacon cobs arrived, the bacon appeared undercooked. In the end, the diners walked out without paying and called for the establishment to improve their performance."

"I have booked my table and asked for a nice table because it was my son and he had requested this restaurant. when I arrived, we were shown on a ground (instead of the beautiful round stands available) and without mention was made the birthday of my sohnes. actually, when we mentioned it at the end (if the waitress asked if we do something nice later) she did not even know. the burgers we had were average and I fought to find something I liked on the menu. I chose the festive menu with south-facing chicken for starter. they were hard and overcooked to damage the upper inner of my mouth, and the meatball pasta was so disgusting that I sent it back. I didn't eat anything else because I was so impressing with one of my foods. the meatballs were solid, terrible pre-formed dinges, which were shaped into elongated balls, and were hard to bite meatballs instead of the soft mint style I had eaten in others. there was a lot of penne pasta and very little sauce also the restaurant was dark and appeared a little tired, not Indian for the experience I had previously had (fastly a while ago I confess) when I went to the near of the show nr batley, which was expensive, but inviting my sohn will be only once, and although he was glad that he had not disappointed the happy birthday. we have paid the full tip for the waitress because they gave a good service. Perhaps this is only this special restaurant, but because of our experience this time we would not eat here again."

Our meals arrived in a timely manner and were served piping hot, causing us to accidentally drop one plate due to the heat. However, the staff quickly replaced it without any issues. The food met the usual high standards we expect from Franky and Bennys. The restaurant is conveniently located a short walk from the Manchester tram stop and provided a pleasant alternative to the typical fish and chips fare."

"I visited Frankie Benny's on Friday with my partner, almost hours before our booked viewing to see IT. Hindsight being the beautiful thing it is, I would've reserved a table for to ensure we made it in time for the film. Sadly, I don't have a crystal ball! We waited over minutes to be seated; that was okay, it was a Friday night and whilst there were plenty of tables available, we'd expected a little wait to begin with. As we were being seated, the waitress asked if we'd like some garlic bread whilst we waited and having waited long enough for food, we welcomed the offer. Fastforward an hour and a half later. Our mains finally arrived! My partner's food was badly burned and had I not read the menu beforehand, I'd have been sure my pasta had come from a children's menu the portion was honestly that measley. There was no point in complaining since the staff on that night had the same amount of urgency to help as we had to leave. Truly appalling experience"

The parking lot is a good size and well-maintained. It would be beneficial to have more parent and baby rooms available. "Had the BEST experience at this restaurant, went with my sister, ordered one of the hot dogs, my sister ordered the ribs. We were sat down by a young girl who asked for our drink order, we ordered and waiting a little for them, then our server came over, his name was kieran, we told him we were still waiting on our drinks he came over straight away. Had a lovely chat with him, he asked for our order, the food came quick, he asked if we needed a tip up on our drinks, checked our meal was okay and it was lovely. He was SO attentive, smiley and couldn’t be more helpful and friendly. Could not recommend this service more due to this young man. He had us laughing the whole time, couldn’t of done more, he was like this with every table he served :"

"Loved this place, really nice food good quality and reasonable price. Made my order on line, got a meal deal for over £30, but didn’t want 3 curries. Told them, no problem, really nice, had a glass of wine whilst waiting’ for my order I collected. Got home, guess waiting and we were item missing, called them, but the attitude of the guy who answered was shocking, he accused me of lying and said he had packed this himself, well it wasn’t and I wasn’t having this accusation. It wasn’t the fact it was 70p, or even £700, it was th the fact he was rude and started telling me about his banking issues. I’m done here, you keep the item, you’ve now lost a good customer. I won’t be spoken like this. You wasn’t busy as I was there, maybe thats why you’re losing customers, your treating them with contempt , if you need to lye to gain additional money, your not fit to trade,that’s stealing !"

"The food at this restaurant is incredibly tasty and has shown definite improvement. It seems to get better each time we visit. The vegan menu offers a wide variety of options, with the "not dogs" being particularly delicious. The staff were all very friendly and efficient. "Frankie and Benny's is a well-known chain restaurant. Unfortunately, my experiences at various locations have been consistently poor, including the one in Romford. The restaurant is located conveniently near the cinema in the brewery, but in my opinion, that is its only positive aspect. The salads are wilted, the meats and fries are greasy and soggy. The restaurant itself is cramped, making it difficult to navigate, and the atmosphere is dark and dingy. I'm not sure who continues to dine here, as it seems taste is not a priority for them. "this was our first time back to the restaurant for over a year because of the pandemic. in the did it was our first family meal, since lockdown leasing, so we were a little nervous. we arrived and were of a beautiful lady who showed us on our table. we felt safe at the arrival with the restaurant according to the government guidelines that was great. our waitress ellie was faultless. happy and cheerful and laughed at the terrible sweat of my dad and sarcastic wise, although food really arrived fast and also hot was what was great. the food team can't blame. I can't blame ellie that she was as nice and as everyone should be server. I can't wait to come back. thanks for making our experience a great one."
