"Just returned from having afternoon tea with my family at the Bath branch. To say it was disappointing is an understatement. The menu was suppose to include quiche, sausage roll and French bread with melted cheese and ham as the savoury. What arrived was 1 small bread stick ....no filling! 1 slice of quiche and 2 sausage rolls. There weren't 2 of all the cakes and 2 of these were dumped on the plate upside down. The only saving grace was that we didn't have to pay full price as we used the eat out, help out reduction .... however this hadn't been applied to our bill and we had to remind them. This was not the best experience for our first time eating out post lockdown....we certainly won't be going again."

"Brunch is such an impressive time of days in eating life these days and that makes it hard to decide what to have. Fear not, as you can order a platter at Le Pain Quotidien that gives you everything. It’s only mildly disappointing that it is a chain affair. There’s 219 other Le Pain Quotidien about and chains never make for the most fun or inventive options. The food is good at least. My choice was The Farmer brunch £16.95). That comes with a boiled egg, ham, gruyere, granola parfait, a drink, a juice, a pastry and a choice of bread. Phew. The price point is on the high side not including service as well but it could go towards a pair of mouths. The pain au chocolat and sourdough are particular highlights of the board and I would have to commend the proper Belgian hot chocolate not pictured). There was also three of the spreads Speculoos, Blondie and Noisella) that are fun to sample as well."

"my friends and I enjoyed the 3-course party set menu 21.5) and it is certainly a good example for Mediterranean cuisine for a beginner I had the supposed fresh king skallops', served in a citrus juice. a bit cheesy, but definitiw a good choice for the starter. for my main course I decided for the restaurants recommended underwriting court, confit lamb. the lamb is slowly boiled and then pressed into a cylindrical shape. the meat melts on the rim and is very succulent a good place to go for a group dinner, reasonable price and a wonderful worth. make sure to make a reservation!"

"Wandering around Soho we walked by Le Pain and decided to give it a try looks nice from the outside with all these bread put forward on display. Ordered some house Chardonney with olives to start with and then Pizzetta, Organic Lentil Avocado Salad and Prosciutto with Mozzarella on toast. All really good. House wine excellent for house wine category, olives with some spicy flavour, salad was fairly reach (variety of veggies inside), ham was tasty and only pizzetta could have been, perhaps, a bit warmer... "It’s like a bad comedy sketch where management in black suits running like the a headless chicken, waiting staff is under trained or absolutely useless… You been led to the dirty table with used crockery and cutlery on it which still not clean after 30 min at the table… Coffee machine apparently on the cleaning circle by one member of the team, or broken according to other… I will not mention that English breakfast is missing form the menu all together… Food itself semi decent the only problem is been delivered after 15 min chef calling service and at the best comes luke warm…. The worst"

"We chose an afternoon booking and expected good service. How wrong we were. Several items we off the menu. We waited an hour and a half for our mains. The pasta dishes had almost no sauce and we had to ask for more for four...of the dishes. The bill was incorrect and when challenged the Manager was abrupt and intransigent when a suggestion was made to him as to how he might correct it. He stated that ‘if’ he did change the bill it would be ‘his’ decision, not ours, and would be a good will gesture on his behalf. Not good, not good at all. We expected more from this restaurant."

"A very , very disappointing experience. The waiter was apparently new, so fair to give him a chance, but we held our breath to see if our margarita cocktail turned into a pizza…….after a long wait we were pleasantly surprised to receive a drink though where the tequila went, who knows? The main courses both involved risotto which was more like wallpaper paste than any rice dish. The manager was eager to make amends, so opted for a couple of salads…….yes they were edible and the prawn one had more prawns than the risotto! Truly terrible not a place that we will ever revisit!"

"eating in caffe tartine was simply amazing. the portions were all cooked for perfection and of plentiful size. they were prepared and served in good time, especially considering that they are cooked clearly by scratches, as the quality is so good. the deserts were just as good as the most important courses and fit clearly to the restaurants French inspiration. the staff are very friendly and were more than helpful so that our party sits at a table near some cans so that we are able to load our phones. the resturant also has a dog friendly winter garden that allows people to bring their songs into them (provided they are good behavior.) if this place was local for me, then I would certainly be a more regular, offered the amazing price and the outstanding quality of the food."

"I had an amazing experience with the customer service at this restaurant! There was a mix-up with my burger order, but the staff quickly sorted it out and brought me the correct one. The manager even came over to apologize and let me know it would just take a few minutes. Our waitress was also fantastic. The burger itself was delicious, and with my UNiDAYS 50% discount, the manager took an additional £5 off. I've never encountered such excellent customer service in England (I'm an American student studying here), and I was truly impressed. Thank you, Cafe Rouge!"

"Love the simplicity of the menu. The food I've had here is great. I love the chicken sandwich and the house salad. The olives are wonderful for a starter. I have had the roasted chicken with leeks a few times and really enjoy the sauce. The wines are great here as well. Over all a simple, enjoyable food experience that made me come back twice in a week when I was last visiting London. The location is also fabulous."

"Despite living in Ruislip forever we only discovered this little gem at the start of 2022 now a regular haunt. Kathy Frank have developed a loyal regular clientele which speaks volumes in this day age . A lovely independent bijou cafe great for breakfast/brunch/lunch or a quick tea stop. A full and comprehensive menu plus daily specials, all reasonably priced cooked fresh to order always a warm welcome great humour from them both. In summer you can sit outside watch the world go by. Kathy Frank do all they can to locally source their produce ensuring it is all high quality, nothing precooked reheated here. Great milkshakes, iced coffees and hot chocolate Very definitely worth a visit great food and customer service from an independent "
