"This was my third visit and I loved it. They have the best brunch menu with breakfast and lunch choices and the waiters top your prosecco glass up very frequently! The service is great. Also, I love that it’s three courses as you feel it is good value for money and like a proper meal. One tip-lose the blue macaroon! :o)"

"We chose an afternoon booking and expected good service. How wrong we were. Several items we off the menu. We waited an hour and a half for our mains. The pasta dishes had almost no sauce and we had to ask for more for four...of the dishes. The bill was incorrect and when challenged the Manager was abrupt and intransigent when a suggestion was made to him as to how he might correct it. He stated that ‘if’ he did change the bill it would be ‘his’ decision, not ours, and would be a good will gesture on his behalf. Not good, not good at all. We expected more from this restaurant."

"A very , very disappointing experience. The waiter was apparently new, so fair to give him a chance, but we held our breath to see if our margarita cocktail turned into a pizza…….after a long wait we were pleasantly surprised to receive a drink though where the tequila went, who knows? The main courses both involved risotto which was more like wallpaper paste than any rice dish. The manager was eager to make amends, so opted for a couple of salads…….yes they were edible and the prawn one had more prawns than the risotto! Truly terrible not a place that we will ever revisit!"

"eating in caffe tartine was simply amazing. the portions were all cooked for perfection and of plentiful size. they were prepared and served in good time, especially considering that they are cooked clearly by scratches, as the quality is so good. the deserts were just as good as the most important courses and fit clearly to the restaurants French inspiration. the staff are very friendly and were more than helpful so that our party sits at a table near some cans so that we are able to load our phones. the resturant also has a dog friendly winter garden that allows people to bring their songs into them (provided they are good behavior.) if this place was local for me, then I would certainly be a more regular, offered the amazing price and the outstanding quality of the food."

"We absolutely adore Cinnabar - it's our go-to spot for lunch. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is great, and the food is always delicious and reasonably priced. They are always willing to accommodate my dietary restrictions. I highly recommend trying their Mac and Cheese Burger. Overall, I would give the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect score of 5. The average price per person is between £20-£30 for lunch."

"The ambience was very nice not too noisy not really quiet. Everyone just getting on with their meal. The waiters were pleasant but I think £16.95 for an omelette which was meant to have mature cheddar cheese which I absolutely could not taste at all) is quite excessive. I had a Diet Coke cheese omelette with chips and a coffee and my bill was £32."

"Love the simplicity of the menu. The food I've had here is great. I love the chicken sandwich and the house salad. The olives are wonderful for a starter. I have had the roasted chicken with leeks a few times and really enjoy the sauce. The wines are great here as well. Over all a simple, enjoyable food experience that made me come back twice in a week when I was last visiting London. The location is also fabulous."

"It’s like a bad comedy sketch where management in black suits running like the a headless chicken, waiting staff is under trained or absolutely useless… You been led to the dirty table with used crockery and cutlery on it which still not clean after 30 min at the table… Coffee machine apparently on the cleaning circle by one member of the team, or broken according to other… I will not mention that English breakfast is missing form the menu all together… Food itself semi decent the only problem is been delivered after 15 min chef calling service and at the best comes luke warm…. The worst"

"my wife and I had a very nice lunch on Saturday, but I was not served what I ordered. the menu had changed recently and I was not advised when I ordered. I ordered a sharing plate that consisted of a selection of cold meat, rillettes, brot and a baked camembert with caramelized wobbles. this was still on the menu in the restaurant and also on the cafe rouge website in the internet. what I was served were six sausages, garlic bread, hummus and a baked cader. it was nice, but I don't think it was worth the same price as the choice of cold meat, etc. I think the personal should have said that the menu would have changed if I had ordered and I had ordered something else. as usual the service was first class and all staff was very helpful and friendly."

"I've been to other branches of Itsu several times and this had by far the poorest selection across the board. The sushi in particular was limited to just salmon and vegetarian options. If the prices could make you think you were in a high quality restaurant, the atmosphere, cleanliness of the toilets (no soap) and food quality (which was fine but unspectacular) would soon bring you back down to earth. It wasn't bad, but the food quality and variety should be considerably better for what they charge."

"Been to this branch many many times over the last 5 10 years and this last visit was the worst. The manager in charge on that evening was actually almost annoyed with us for everything we bought to her attention. 5 adults and 2 kids sat down to eat around 4pm/430pm on a Tuesday evening, all of a sudden lights went down completely dark we asked them to put lights back up, after all its not valentines night, there are only 3 other tables which are a mixed group of friends and we would like to see what we are eating. Manager said welll my area manager told me we need to dim the lights to make it romantic and if they drive by and see its bright i will get in trouble!! have you ever heard of such nonsense!! We alerted her to the fact there are only 3 other tables and clearly none are having a romantic meal and we cannot eat like this, she said ok i will put it up but soon i will put it down again or i will get in trouble..... When the starters came, i was sharing the chicken liver pate with my father. He had a few mouthfuls and said to me take some, as i looked over to the plate i saw a huge black long hair mixed throughout the chutney that came with the pate. I almost threw up, i got up walked over to closest waitress and said we cannot eat this there is a huge hair in it look. No immediate apology and no visit from staff to ask what shall we do. We ordered another after some discussion on our table BUT without the chutney. To be honest if it was just myself and husband, kids we would have got up and left at that point but i didnt want to cause more upset to the already tense atmosphere in this restaurant. The meals came, then a few sweets for a couple of us. The bill is requested and arrives and i have already informed them of my 2for1 meerkat meals code which i have given them and that i want the bill to reflect the issue tonight. £3 off is what they gave us! I told the member of staff closes to us, i am not happy with this and almost insulted us by taking such a low amount. The manager lady comes over, is there a problem? yes what is it then???!!! I said yes, you gave us £3 off for that disgusting problem and its insulting, you are lucky we didnt leave. She said well i have to explain all these discounts to my area manager, i said all these discounts are not a 'gesture of goodwill ' this is what we are due based on our code and should not be part of what you are doing to deal with this situation. I told her i wish i took a photo of the hair before sending back and maybe the area manager would be happier!!! i told her its un fair, she took £10 off in total. We paid and left, with no tip either, something we never do. I have escalated this problem to head office today as their online feedback form is actually not working convenient timing) but the whole experience annoyed us. £115 we paid in total its not a huge amount but its the principle and they way the manager dealt with is, was very rude, insulting and unprofessional. She event went as far as saying 'the chutney comes ready made, we cant control what we find in it ' i said i couldn 't care less where it was made, that huge long hair is your problem. The rest of the staff i have to say were not rude."

"We booked The Hope for a family get together, it's really close to Central Station therefore it was convenient for everyone to meet there for lunch! When I was looking in to booking something for us I checked the website and it said the pub was family friendly, perfect as we were bringing our wee boy! Disappointed however when we were ordering food to discover that there was no children's menu! The staff serving our table were very nice and although a bit slow in getting the food orders they were on hand to take our drinks orders right away! The food was nice, nothing to write home about but a good meal none the less! One waitress in particular was very helpful with our wee boy, regularly checking to see if she could get him a drink and asking if we wanted his food kept warm while he had a nap! The Hope is a family favourite of ours for its location, it's welcoming staff and a beautiful building too! We will definitely be back, if a children's menu was introduced it would be perfect!"

"Service was very slow, only two people serving (one of them remained behind bar). Eventually got drinks order took after 10 minutes then another 10 minutes for delivery to table. Waitress was not writing down orders so forgetting things. Not sure why they do that, customers want orders written down!! When asked if I wanted my minute steak cooked pink or well done I asked for pink. Didn't realise pink meant RAW! Would have asked for medium had I had known, but wasn’t given the option. Didn't say anything as waitress was clearly overwhelmed as it was. Steak was supposed to come with rocket but was only given 4 or 5 leaves as a pathetic garnish at best. Picture attached. Whole restaurant felt rundown and in desperate need of a makeover, feels like Cafe Rouge is on its last legs, going downhill very fast, disappointing and sad. I’ll be very surprised if it’s still open this time next year."

"Just returned from having afternoon tea with my family at the Bath branch. To say it was disappointing is an understatement. The menu was suppose to include quiche, sausage roll and French bread with melted cheese and ham as the savoury. What arrived was 1 small bread stick ....no filling! 1 slice of quiche and 2 sausage rolls. There weren't 2 of all the cakes and 2 of these were dumped on the plate upside down. The only saving grace was that we didn't have to pay full price as we used the eat out, help out reduction .... however this hadn't been applied to our bill and we had to remind them. This was not the best experience for our first time eating out post lockdown....we certainly won't be going again."

"Shown to a table promptly, it was not set with any cutlery, serviettes etc. waitress wiped half of the table only. Ordered food and the starter of calamari arrived which was so small it was laughable. We Both ordered sirloin steaks and unfortunately my partners was 30% gristle. We highlighted this to the server who replied with ‘oh sorry about that’ . Asked for the bill and service was added and nothing taken off for the inedible steak. The restaurant is looking tired, dirty and need of an urgent refurb. The toilets weren’t great either. Overall a dreadful experience. I guess they get a lot of business due to its location right next to St Paul’s."

"Greeted very oddly by a lady at the door. After being seated the same lady took our orders and was being very rude by showing her impatience by tutting and rolling her eyes when we were ordering but seemed to be quite patient when dealing with other customers. My cutlery still had a piece of food on it and so did those of the people sitting with me . After inspecting one set of our cutlery , she says this is not dirty and gives the cutlery back to one of my party. She then came to our table to replace our nearly burnt out candle and swaps our candle with the one from the table behind which was also nearly burnt out. To my horror, she comes back with fresh new candle and uses our little candle to light the new candle which she gives to the table behind us. Whilst we are eating our meal, she comes back with yet another candle that she uses our candle to light AGAIN. She then comes back to ask us if everything is okay with our meal, to which a person from my party says that her cocktail is very diluted. The waitress proceeds to say I 'm talking about the pizza and completely dismisses the issue with the drink. I am so disgusted by the conduct of that staff member and will never come back. We were very polite and stayed that way even after the poor treatment. Evidently we didn 't pay service charge and I will be making a formal complaint as this is not acceptable at all. I can understand if I or anyone in my party was rude/disrespectful, but this was not the case. She clearly did not want to welcome us here."

"This lovely french restaurant absolutely knocked us out of the park with the crazy quality and service we received, we went as a party of 4 and ordered some french dumplings, the soufflé, and the stake. Let’s start with the stake, not kinky was it if a high quality and cooked perfectly, but it was also soft and tender, and didn’t require much effort to cut, this shows the quality of the meat. The soufflé was airy and rich, and the pastry was perfectly made. In addition to the amazing food, the service was spectacular, which only boosts my respects for this restaurant. Overall Soutine is definitely a restaurant worth your time and money, and I would definitely come here any day."
