"I recently placed another order on a busy night and I must say the food arrived on time and was delicious, especially the flamquantgrill burger. My review has been updated to reflect this positive experience. The cheeseburger and chips, along with the huhn kebab, were a nice addition to the meal. Overall, I have had mostly good experiences with this restaurant, with the exception of one time when they made a mistake with my order. However, considering the other positive reviews and my usual experience, I believe this was just a result of a very busy and stressful day for them. They promptly provided a replacement when I called to notify them of the error."

"Firstly no issues with our server, she was very attentive...food selected and served without a hitch and enjoyable up until I noticed a different server cough into her hands, wipe them on her jeans and then touch her hair!!! Really, this is basic hygiene (or lack of) regardless of whether you work in hospitality or not, I did point this out to her directly to which she apologised and said she would wash her hands only to then witness a chef in an open kitchen wipe his nose then go and handle food without washing them??? Absolute disbelief...addressed my issues with a manager (I think, she was wearing a love heart cardi) off she went, no feedback from her and a bill for two at almost £70.00 inc service charge. When I approached the manager to ask why she 'd not come back to me, all I got was that she 'd spoken to them and it was a natural reaction and what do you want me to do??? it 's really NOT acceptable, it 's an absolute disgrace."

"Been here recently for bottomless brunch for 1st time. Now whilst the service and the staff were great, the rest was a bit disappointing, considering you pay almost 40 pounds one would expect more food and better drinks. We were in 6, all plates were like medium to small portion size, I had burgher and was tasty but small, fries not included which is very strange for the price. Yes u can drink as much as you want for 2h, thing is their cocktails had almost no alcohol in it. I had 8 cocktails so did my friends and we left pretty much sober. I guess they don't want ppl to get drunk and loud there, but then at least adjust your price. 34 pounds for small burger and juice water isn't a good deal. Nice service and staff but no money value"

"Great restaurant, very atmospheric with amazing interior. Great place to go for a casual/more fancy meal with drinks. The night we went had a limited cocktail menu but even the cocktails they had were great tasting and had good amounts of alcohol. Food is delicious and good value for money, only the cocktails were slightly expensive."

"Tiny little cafe, staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. Happy to prepare the outside tables for us. Food was good and everyone had clean plates. Reasonably priced. Good location near the station in Littleport. 10/10 would go again if I'm in the area. A local entered during our stay and seemed to have a great rapport with the employees."

"My husband and I were looking for a quick breakfast spot in the neighborhood and found this gem. Tiny spot with limited seating, but we were able to snag a seat. We both had the avocado toast with fried eggs which was delicious. They were also super accommodating for gluten free all of their toasties and sandwiches can be made on GF bread. I even watched the cook use parchment to protect my GF bread from cross contamination when toasting! Husband also had a side of bacon, which he raved about. Highly recommend for meat loving and gluten free visitors!"

"I absolutely adore this pub restaurant. The steam punk vibe is amazing and the chef is fantastic, along with the lovely accommodating staff. We decided to have all the starters tapas style and were blown away. The prawns in a chili oil with baked dipping bread were divine, and the tempura-style pickled onion rings were a unique and delicious surprise. The chef's creativity truly shines through in every dish, including the hot and fragrant samosas with a delicious dipping sauce. I highly recommend seeking out this pub, as it may be tucked away off the beaten track but is definitely worth the visit. Now, back to enjoying my frozen daiquiri!"

"Booked for a pre theatre meal but left hungry and disappointed. Walking in it was unclear if it was a bar or a restaurant and hard to know where we were meant to find our table etc. There has obviously been a party or something earlier as ticker tape all over the floor and he place felt shabby and unclean. Live music started whilst were there, which generally I enjoy but I was underwhelmed and it was so loud it made it impossible to have a conversation. Over 45 minute wait for tapas starters which were underwhelming. Considering g they claimed to be cooked fresh the papayas bravas were soft not crispy and he sauce underwhelming. When mains arrived we were pushed for time to get to the theatre. My burrito bowl was 80% rice; 15% beans only about 3 small pieces of chicken, which was bland and to add insult to injury was tepid (so much again for freshly cooked). My friend’s enchilada was at least hot, just poor quality and tasteless. We raised a complaint and the only offer was to remove the DISCRETIONARY 10% service charge they’d added!, Will NOT be visiting again. I thought even though this was a chain, it was a relatively small chain and there may be some quality control. I was wrong."

"Family of five popped in on Saturday at 6pm with no booking, dispite downstairs being very busy we were seated quickly. Two kids ate from the childrens menu, two adults from the early bird menu and one teenager having two starters and a side as a main. All food came out as quick as you would expect for a busy Saturday eve and was a hit especially with our sometimes fussy middle child. 2 for 1 mocktails fab as well. Kids can't wait to go back."

"unfortunately I was really disappointed today by the service. read iguanas told us that they had only two people in the kitchen when we arrived and eat can take a little longer, but we waited for two only for an hour. I think how long we would wait if we had ordered two main courts. 25 minutes for our drinks we had to ask several times. we spent almost two hours in the restaurant the majority of it was satt waiting. overall disappointing."

"Came for the bottomless brunch, now Id like to think you can have as many drinks as you like within the 2 hours (within reason), but we found we ordered one round for 6 people which took around 20mins to come so by time youve had one youve drank the other so when they bring the drinks you have to order more otherwise youll end up with about 4 drinks with all the waiting, staff didnt seem like they wanted to serve us and questioned us when we ordered our drinks.. it felt as if staff were trying to limit us to little drinks as possible which isnt what we paid for. The food is tiny and hardly worth it really a burger could add chips but for £4. Non of us were overlly drunk we was a little merry but it felt staff were judging us. Once the 2 hours was up we asked for the bill.. not a problem was around £34 per person, BUT ne careful because they added a service charge of £21 without telling us now this is an optional charge which I would of not paid due to the stafffs lack of wanting to serve us. I then had to email the company to get it refunded but they should of told us at the time of giving us the bill. and to be honest dont think much alcohol was in it as I walked out near enough sober.. Was also far too busy with hardly any staff hance the waiting around to be served and they took preference in people who wasnt bottomless brunch."

"We arrived and immediately didn't feel welcomed, it was our first time so we needed time to read the menu to see what was on offer and there is quite alot to choose from, we felt very rushed and they seemed to be surprised that we wanted to sit inside and eat almost like we weren't allowed to. the food was mostly ok apart from the cakes that were rock solid, no baby change in the toilet and they said we could change our baby on the floor in toilet?! First experience wasn't great to be honest, doubt we will come back."

"great staff, but eat a bit average. the curry chicken from partner was good, but my rippchen did not fall from the bone and on places was a bit hard. had it better. also there were two hot parties in one was calm, the other was not. Obviously, a restaurant for young people (which are not us) and I will give it in future a failure. portsmouth restaurant in this chain much better."
