"We went to this restaurant for a Father's Day lunch with a party of 4 people. The food and service were both excellent. However, it was a very hot day and unfortunately the restaurant did not have air conditioning. We recommend that the restaurant invest in air conditioning to provide a more comfortable dining experience."

"a wonderful hidden gem in brighton. eat tastes absolutely as in the premium traditional restaurants and taverns in Greece, while the portions really generous and appetit. I had the dolmades as an appetizer and the black merciful as a pornstar; unnecessary to say that everything was good in mouthwater. the atmosphere is also warm and welcoming, representatives of the world-famous Hellenic hospitality. the fact that many non-Greek redners visit this place for dinner is not a surprise; Greek eating when prepared and properly cooked, culinary paradies and yefsis delivered from Greece is perfect. very recommended for all in the east sussex area! will surely come back! "We absolutely loved everything we ate at this restaurant. We tried the Sharing Board, Grub Salad Bowl, Eggplant and 'Halloumi' Burger, Peas Hummus and Pictta, Wedges with Garlic Mayo, Chocolate Milkshakes, and local beer, and everything was delicious. The falafel was particularly outstanding, unlike any we've had before – crispy and melt-in-the-mouth good. It was half-term when we visited, but it seems like this place is always busy because it's right on the beach. It's best to make a reservation for dinner (we saw it was fully booked a few weeks before traveling) or come early or late for lunch to avoid a wait. This is our favorite place in the Scillies, and we updated our rating on May 31, 2022."

"I went to that restaurant last week, after queuing 20 minutes I entered the restaurant with my friends and placed the order. We spent about an hour waiting for our order. Then when we asked about the order she said that she lost the order and that we have to choose between leaving or placing the another order and waiting for 1 hour more. She didn’t apologise or feel sorry for her rude and terrible attitude. When I asked her to feel sorry for what she did, she said I don’t have to, you can leave. She was disgusting and extremely rude, after wasting almost 2 hours we left without eating."

"We were greeted warmly by the staff and shown to a cozy table by the window. The menu was diverse and enticing, with options to suit all tastes. We decided to start with the calamari, which was perfectly cooked and flavorful. For our mains, we both chose the seafood linguine, which was deliciously fresh and packed with a variety of seafood. To top it all off, we indulged in the chocolate lava cake for dessert, which was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. Overall, our experience at this restaurant was nothing short of amazing and we left feeling satisfied and content. We will definitely be returning in the future."

"Restaurant looks great, we were seated in a booth so it felt more private. Music playing in restaurant gave a good atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and attentive actually stopped and had a conversation with us. Menu had good choice we had a vegetarian and vegan in our party, everyone enjoyed their food. Stuffed tomatoes were delicious could have eaten another portion! Service was well timed, we wasnt rushed but did not have to wait too long. Will be back!"

"Well I have to say I did have it out with the manager and told him how bad it was and said I woudgo on social media bit I spent bear on100 pound for a **** experience so here's how it was so you don't get stung after reading some of the other reviews I think its right to let people know before wasting there time and money ,got there with the wife on a nice December evening and ordered a glass of red wine each ,we were served bye a young lad who gave is our drinks who was very polite and welcoming he said he had only been there a couple of months but went out of his way to make us feel welcome, nice wine awell,then the manager came over and said you can't order food at the bar until you have a table number ,ok I said can we have another wine to take to table which the young lad said I'll bring them over ,I said don't worry there's no hurry I'll wait ,the manager hurried us to a table next to a big table of eight people noisy drunk lot enjoying themselves which is fine but we are an older couple out for a quiet meal and there was only 3 full tables the place was empty lol ,stick us with the noisy lot ,anyway starters comes out missing one dish off scallops, they arrived after we said 10 minutes later ,there were 3 small scallops prise 14 quid lol ,shoudof bothered ,garlic mushrooms were not garlic mushrooms as no garlic I could taste ,my wife's salad had old flowery tasting tomatoes not fresh ,and my Mexican chicken in a mushroom sauce and rice tasted so bland and chicken over cooked was eatable but no way it was Mexican it tasted like a tesco microwave meal to be fair I eat half of it as I only had abit of toast that day and was hungry,I told the manager I was very disappointed with it all he said thanks for tge feedback, I said you should up your game here it's a nice place ,to be fair the young lad behind the bar could manage that place with good results as he knew how to treat people, but I'm sorry I won't be back as too pricey for an absolute disappointment which is a shame as such a good looking place to go ."

"I went to Deserie with my friend Dec It was the first time since the recent renovations and extension of the restaurant had been completed. It is so much bigger and the table are very well distanced from each other. The decor is...great and the lighting perfect. The air is clean and fresh. There are so many servers which is great, as anything you want is catered for so quickly. We both had the grilled kalamari and octopus, beautiful crispy hot chips with a lovely greek salad (who cares if it an iceberg lettuce and not a cos Lettuce (Effie G). It was a great bowl of fresh ingredients. The taramasalata was creamy and pitta bread was lovely and hot. Complementary fruit for too, grapes, pineapple, melon and orange slices. Portions are generous and you don't leave hungry. So good I'm back there this Friday, with my daughter and son in law. We were having a meat free evening but i can equally recommend their chargrill kebabs and the sea bass is to die for."

"The staff were amazing, they did a thank you to the community for their support with an invitation buffet, food was good in stock and really delicious, rice was fluffy and delicious. Perfect. Thank you. Edit: After reading some of the other reviews, I feel compelled to work out something. The food was on site, it was kept warm on the buffet, which is not easy to do especially with rice, as it dries easily, but everything was good. The kitchen could be seen while getting drinks in the bar and I would say happy it was clean, but in use, nothing I would not expect to see in a busy restaurant middle layer, and it was busy waiting people to get a place busy. The staff, I only saw the cook back and for the storage of the buffet, he was polite and polite, even though standing there holding piping hot large tablets of food happy waiting for the people to finish their filling before it through. The type clearing and cleaning of the tables was then on the table within seconds and then cleaning ready for the next eager customer. Above all, the manager /owner, he was very polite, very willing to help and be honest some of the best customer service I receive for longer than I would remember, he deserves the 5 stars of himself. I think it speaks volume when a company actually needs the time to respond to reviews, which tells you that they really care about your experience. I can't imagine putting it differently than I have your service and food tonight and for returning to the customers you supported. Go on what you do best."

"After booking a table at Artemis because all of the restaurants in Maidstone were booked; it has become clear after suffering from severe food poisoning why Artemis was the only restaurant with a table available. I would not recommend any of the seafood meals on the menu especially the muscles. After what me and my date thought was a lovely meal out, it became clear very quickly that night it was not. Again, I would not recommend eating at this restaurant, absolutely awful and I am now very poorly!!"

"the restaurant was busy and the service was good that they even accommodated us because of the train too late. we had the meme for two, but unfortunately the hawn kebab was over boiled and dry and slightly burned and the lamb balls were also dry. that I fought to cut one in the half was so hard. the garnels tasted of nothing and the sosse in which they were, were also very blasphemy, so the sose was the fleshballs. the coleslaw of the chicken kebab was on appeared to be old, as the koleslaw was just a soggy-mash with hardly any cripple on it, we were told that it is made daily, but I could not help think it was bought in huge catering tubs or if it is sold daily old/close after date produced. the positive is the first cure was beautiful the Greek brot with cuddly and red pfeffer spicy dip. I am sad to say for somewhere with good reviews, it was very disappointing and we will not go back"

"We were staying in Caernarfon on a Saturday night and took valuable advice from other reviewers and booked early. We were so looking forward to choosing a selection of meze to share, but were disappointed to see only a set meat or vegetarian meze or...special starters and main courses were on offer. We chose one meat and one vegetarian meze. Both first plates were super...a good mixture of Greek fare with warm pitta bread. The second plates were more than disappointing....too much meat, Mediterranean greasy vegetables and potatoes. The Spanakopita was a greasy tasteless pancake and the rest of the vegetarian meze was similarly unexciting. The server did say they were offering a new menu that night. It is probably easier for the kitchen, but we were less than impressed. The house wine did go down well though!"

I definitely recommend trying the Aubergine Dip. However, I found the squid to be quite tough. The seafood kebab was tasty, and the accompanying vegetables and rice were very good. Overall, the experience was not excellent, but still quite enjoyable."
