"So from the outside it looks like nothing special, we walked inside and got told we can sit anywhere thats amazing in its self then I had the oreo milkshake tasted amazing just like oreos, then my starter I had jalapeños and cheese bon bons, they had a crisp shatter to the batter the cheese oooses out in to your mouth and then you feel the warm sensation of the jalapeños in your mouth amazing, my main was empire burger that consisted of 3 quarter pounders 3 cheeses coldslaw pulled pork and a fried egg, my side was stealth chips that I think had camermelised onions and garlic sauce bacon, cheese and herbs 5 out of 5 stars 100% recommend this place."

"I am delighted to say that I thoroughly enjoy a well-prepared piece of deep-fried goodness, smothered in a rich brown sauce that enhances the flavors of the food. La Campagnola is the only chip shop located on the outskirts of the west end of Edinburgh, offering the high-quality fare that locals crave and tourists seek out. With limited competition in the area, the staff is always friendly and willing to engage with customers, while the chips are consistently fresh and perfectly cooked. The only drawback is the thickness of the sauce, which could benefit from a bit more seasoning. Overall, it is a fine chip shop and a refreshing change from the typical delis and restaurants in the west end."

"I had been excited for weeks to visit red dog saloon as I have visited before and the chicken was good. We went on a Saturday evening and firstly it was very busy. We had booked a table so we’re seated after a short wait. Service was slow but it was busy. We ordered two main dishes (both chicken), a side of burnt end mash and a side of nachos. The chicken was very good. Plentiful in portion size and great flavour. This was the highlight of the meal. The mash was one of the most atrocious portions of mash I have ever laid eyes on. Swimming in what could only be described as fat rather than gravy. No taste other than fat and mash of such questionable consistency it didn’t appear there most of the time. This needs removing from the menu or changing asap! Scandalous presentation for £7.50. Nachos were stale and disappointing. No salsa and cheese on them also had no flavour. Not great for the £10.50 we paid for them. Service continued to slow the longer we stayed to the point where our plates were not cleared after our meal. Servers were often clearing tables that were empty rather than attending customers still at the restaurant (who may continue to spend money on drinks or desserts) or were talking amongst each other. We sat staring at the cold congealed mess of mashy fat before getting up, asked to pay with a server and left. Left disappointed as they had been great on previous visits. Sadly lost a customer here."

"Tonight, I had quite the challenge finding a restaurant that would deliver at 2 a.m.! I made the mistake of ordering from a place I wasn't very familiar with. But Mr. Pizza came through for me! We ordered lamb and chicken skewers, and both were absolutely fantastic and beautifully presented. The salad was fresh, dressed with lemon and coriander, which added a lovely touch! The meat was grilled to perfection; I could hardly bear to finish it! They also included a Mars bar and a scratch card, which was a nice touch—though unfortunately, I didn’t win anything. Still, I felt lucky to have discovered this little gem. Please order from here; you won’t be disappointed!"

"after eating this place for 5 years I will change the place after I ordered the phone to collect, the guy was on his phone when the load came, had no interest in me after I tried to tell his attentionman to me, I did not order. chips hexe I did. Maybe they should wait from the phone and more attention to the documents waiting for chips. when I came home, chips mayonnaise has called on all chips shop and asked why? ?? it was said that it was what had ordered. no chance, man went back to shop was met with verbal abuse in another language and damm right rude gave part of the chips half the USB size after ordering from this shop for 5 years never again damm right rude and ignorant about people in another language talking and thinking they don't say what ur about them. pizza had gone cold after the time"

"I ordered a breakfast and I asked if they could swap the beans (which I don 't like for mushrooms, and was told it was company policy that you can delete an item for free (how generous of them! but if you want to swap an item they charge it as a side order. When the breakfast arrived it consisted of two tiny rashers of tough bacon with about 5mm of meat on them, 1 sausage, half a small tomato, a little bucket of beans (which I didn 't want anyway and an absolutely tiny portion of mushrooms. Then when the waiter came to do that insincere box-ticking 5 minute check back thing they all do these days where they clumsily interrupt you mid-conversation to ask Is everything ok? without giving a toss how you answer, I told him that I thought the portions were stingy, the breakfast was overpriced, the company policy on swapping items was petty and inflexible and the portion of mushrooms was tiny, his answer to this was that the mushrooms shrink when they are grilled (so just grill more of them then, eh? . Anyway.... £10 for this breakfast was over the top and I presume they only justify it by the pretentious faux artisan ambience of the place as the money clearly hasn 't been spent on the mismatched car boot sale-esque furniture or customer service training courses. They have their policy on swapping items but I have a policy of leaving poor reviews for establishments where they would rather save a few pence than keep a customer happy."

"Ordered from UberEats and my boyfriend stood outside for 15 minutes when the app stated that the driver was approaching. Nobody showed up and the order was marked as delivered, so we paid £26 for an order we never received. Uber may be a separate company but BRGR have consciously made the decision to work with them and as such must take joint responsibility for the customer experience. 2 hours later we are still unable to make contact with Uber to receive any kind of refund and the restaurant has since closed. The lack of empathy or any attempt at helping us out during the 2 phone calls we made was honestly pretty disgusting. Would it have killed you to send out another order or even offer to have us pick it up? We've been loyal customers of BRGR for years and will never order from them or enter one of their restaurants again. It's sad to see that they just don't care. Disappointed and yep, still hungry."

"Just come in from a wine tasting. So we wanted something filling and somewhere where they didn't serve alchoal. I like Tastees I usually on Christmas day evening. I was told that they were short staffed and they may be a wait. I had the mixed grill. That was served on cast iron pan. All the meat very tender and well cooked. Not too spicy which is just how I like it. THO had the Lamb madras which was very flavoursome. On the side we had a portion of pillia rice and a chili and garlic naan. The food is made fresh which did add to the wait, but folks don't let that put you off. Tastees I shall see at Christmas"

"I tried this restaurant for the first time and was very impressed. It is definitely the best breakfast option in town. We ordered sausage, egg, and cheese batons, which were delicious with perfectly cooked eggs and tasty sausage. "Eat is good. I ordered 2 butter rolls and 2 sausages because the children wanted, the delivery had only one butter roll. I called the last to let them know and got a very rude man who ended on the other, he said it could be an hour until I get it to them, and I said it wasn't use because the child sausage would be cold and he said it was just a roll, no big thing, the ignorant sod was fast enough to load me for the butter roll. in any case, the chippy would not use again simply because of the setting this guy"
