"I have ordered two meals tonight through JustEat and waited for 2 hours for the meal to arrive. The meal did not arrive so I have called Haks only to be greeted with a rude man on the phone stating the food had been delivered....I was confused by this as I've been home all night with the lockdown on effect and had not heard so much as a knock on the door let along the food being delivered. He said there was nothing he could do and that I would need to speak to the delivery driver. He refused to provide any details for the driver however and hung up on me. He seemed uninterested by the issue. I find this extremely rude and unprofessional and have now requested a refund through JustEat. I will not be ordering from here again in future sadly."

"I ate here today for the 1st time with the family and omg the burger was delicious...plenty of fries 2 of us shared.The banana milkshake with kinder was the best I've had. Friendly staff and polite. Clean and tidy. I think they should expand to have more dining in but highly recommended. Thankyou for a great burger . Definitely will be back. May I add I read the reviews about straws being exposed..the staff wear gloves for hygiene. As for the other reviews about burger being in half wrap foil I didn't see a problem with this in fact better than a horrid polystyrene box. Keep up the good food and awesome polite staff"

"It was a very disappointing night. We were one of those forgotten tables no one care to even ask if they have been served. Toilets are just beyond disgusting, the vile smell, the toilet paper all over the floor it was only 6 o clock in evening, you could almost understand it if it was midnight in the night club), the handrail at the stairs was covered in sticky dirt, all place is somewhat unkempt. Food took forever to arrive and was nothing worth remembering or returning for, white wine wasn’t chilled, just plonked in a cooler with tepid water, so no, we will not be returning"

"The Caladonia is a superb pub that offer a superb range of cask beer and is without a doubt one of the best pubs in this fantastic area of the city centre.This excellent pub is located on Caladonia street and is a really traditional pub with excellent staff and lots of friendly locals. This is a traditional street corner pub thats battled to stay open as a pub and it finally won its battle to trade as a pub and I have to commend them on there tenacity as this pub is one of a dying breed of pubs we are sadly loosing every week. This pub is housed in a traditional building with huge bay window's and brilliant decor and look's amazing when illuminated in the dark.The interior is brilliant with nice decor and furnishings and many interesting items throughout the whole pub interior and lots of good seating options. We had been to some excellent pubs while in this area of the city centre and decided to go here for a few beer's.It was very busy when we went here mid-afternoon and this is how we like our pub's as the atmosphere is superb.On our visit we had a few glasses of Rosie's brewery Triple D a refreshing well priced cider which were superb. If you're ever in this area of the city centre and looking for a traditional pub that offer well priced drinks give the Caladonia a try you won't be disappointed.So easy to find from Sugnall street bus stop its only a short walk away.(This is my second review of the Caladonia). "Best burger? No chance. Very disappointed in a tiny burger with no service. No masks and overpriced. Flavour wasn’t bad, however I have had much better before. just as a side note, salt does not create flavour. My milkshake was quite runny and my onions were missing. No terms of seating and I will not be attending furthermore. I found the lack of seating quite poor too. I can’t begin to comprehend what trust fund chump decided on daddy’s money, whilst writing for the skinniest column in esquire thought that a minuscule burger is worth a toss of 15 quid. Rubbish. Fries were definitely not ‘hand cut’ either, they’re clearly McCain home fries AND they were soggy. 50p for a sachet of red sauce? Screams the pure encapsulation of the spending economy in London. It should be free."

"Brooks, as this cafe is better known by, is a popular spot for post-school drop coffee mornings, so is always quite buzzy. It is fairly child friendly, although there aren't really games or activities for little ones. The food is delicious and looks amazing, but...wow, the prices!! We had a babyccino (frothed milk in a little espresso cup with chocolate sprinkles and marshmallows), a croissant and a coffee...for £7.50! For lunch a main course dish of half a roasted potato skin filled with, well potato and cheese and some seasonings and a salad costs around £8. i feel for the staff who have to tell people the prices, but in an area with several private schools most are happy to pay, so I guess why not. Apart from the cost and occasionally moody staff, it's a lovely little cafe with delicious if expensive food."

"I don't know who the chef is or how much they are paid, but it surely isn't enough. Without a doubt, this is the best burger I have ever had. They are smash burgers, perfectly juicy with a fantastic sear. The buns are soft and never soggy, which is a big deal for me. The house sauce is delicious, and the bacon took the meal to the next level. The chips are cooked to perfection—soft and fluffy inside with a crispy exterior. I can't recommend this place enough. I've been here twice with two different groups of staff, and both times, they were genuinely nice people. There are plenty of seats for those who want to dine in, and the prices are great—just ten pounds for the best burger and chips you'll ever have, plus a can of juice. This place is definitely worth a visit!"

"Yesterday, I went with my family, to the Swans for a roast. My family have been going there very regularly. When we went to get our carvery, we noticed that all of the vegetables we yellow and insipid. When I ate the beef, it was so chewy I nearly choked on it. My daughter couldn't eat hers and both my parents did not take any vegetables. I never complain. But, I thought about it and I thought well if I spoke to them about it, it would give them the opportunity to put it right. They were very rude and would not talk to me. Although the chef, explained that vegetables are allowed to be kept on the hot plate for 40 minutes. And the vegetables were not even covered up. Last night I was sick with food poisoning. Very disappointed with their customer service. The fact that the restaurant area was almost empty, can mean only one thing, that they clearly have customers to waste."

"I eat here quite a lot. The food is nice, great size portions, and good tasting. It's Kosher Milky for those who care, but that's not my biggest concern in terms of the restaurant. I go back because the food is generally good. That being...said, the service is absolutely shoddy. I don't think I have ever been impressed by the service there, or had such bad service anywhere else. One time I went there, they claimed they didn't have enough glasses, so would it be alright if of us share a glass!! Food is never ready all at the same time. I have been there once when the last person was served after the first at our table! we asked for money off the bill, and were told by the manager that he couldn't do that. Instead what he offered us was a free Ice cream for desert. But not one each. One ice cream with spoons for us to share! If the food was as bad as the service the restaurant would be empty days a week!"

"My partner and I were on our way to sign on the line for our new motor home …we planned to go early as the motorway would be horrendous and it was ….the detour to this lovely cafe was easy and we parked right outside.... We ordered lattes and big breakfast’s service was friendly and quick there were other tables eating .it didn’t take too long and was definitely fresh and hot ,the egg was a little hard but not rubbery ….the portions were very good and at an absolute bargain …it was sparkling clean ,really comfy chairs and smartly decorated .throughly recommended sooooo much better than a rather nasty ,dirty well over priced service station . We will come again next time we come down out of ……oh and as I’ve been in hospitality as a chef for over years I know when it’s good ."

"I've been an Amazon user for over ten years and I use online shopping websites almost daily. Until now... I've never once left a review! For anything! The cost of the burgers, fries, drinks and/or hotdogs tended to put me off eating in this place....It's probably the most expensive fast food' joint anywhere in the UK. But having grown tired of cold burgers from Macdonalds and with the Burger King XXL Bacon Burger being just as expensive, I decided to give it a go. I had a double cheese burger with bacon. My first surprise was the choice of extra toppings. Everything from lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, ketchup, onions, jalapeños... That all comes included with the adverts used cost of the burger. Mine was £8.65 with mayonnaise and mushrooms. I waited about six or seven minutes for my number to be called. The staff were smiley, friendly and very Americany. . The burger came in thickly wrapped tinfoil. So if you wanted to take it home, it seemed as if it would stay pretty hot for a good twenty minutes. Not many first tastes' stay with me, but this one will. For the price, I expected it to taste like a little slice of heaven... I was not disappointed. The bread was extremely fresh, soft and doughy. The burgers were both tender and extra juicy. The two slices of American cheese were melted nicely (and didn't taste like rubber The generous six slices bacon were...Crispy!! The mushrooms and mayo just added to the flavour of what was, without doubt, the best burger I have ever eaten, anywhere. In total, I've spent close to a year in Florida over the past 20 years. The U S of A sure know how to make a burger! But even over the pond, I never found a burger that could even come close to the texture, flavour and quality of this little bad boy. There are no added salts or rubbish in the burgers, so I didn't get that sluggish' feeling after wolfing it down. If you're thinking it's expensive then you're right, it is. But if you're a burger lover... is it worth twice the price of a Big Mac or equal to the cost of a Triple Whopper? It's a. No-brainer. It's worth every penny. Not sure about the fries but you could always grab some for £1 from Macdonalds on your way out (they're about £4.50p in Five Guys). If you're in or around a Five Guys, go grab a double bacon burger. And if its at the Merry Hill branch in Dudley, West Mids, you'll probably find me in there... I'll probably be twice the size by then, but hey, I'll go out on a high. Peace y'all. Have a great day! "there is something special about a delicious burger. it can call them to this mystical place some “food heaven”.When, my friend chris and I visited handmade burger co. we were short on the time when we were just finished watching two films in the theater and were on the way to premiere another film, soon begin. so, fast eating seemed to be apt, and since the restaurant was close and seemed like a good choice, although none of us ever had been there, we decided to go for it, and what a wonderful decision that was considered to be./ right next to a channel in one of the most popular places of birmingham, brindleyplace, handmade burger co. was just asking her with the wahlris. when we sat next to the window, as we could observe that booting in the canal, after about a good ten odd minutes we decided to go over our food and just in the time, as, especially for me, mäuse started to wait the inside sides of my bauchs to gnawen./ handmade burger co. works on the order and pay first format that can go in all honesty. the eating is served at the table, taken by friendly staff and the possibility of the groundless soda, I could some exercise, though by too foot to sodabrunnen, between all munching./ I had ordered the Greek burger with extra speck because you know, speck, and was quite satisfied with the size of the burger. the rolls were soft (read it again and think about food and nothing else they pervert) and the combination of a juicy and perfectly boiled lammpatty with feta cheese etc. was perfect. it was one of those times where I did not enjoy a spicy with the burger, and that always say a lot about eating.Along with the burger we had ordered a side of hand-cut chips that are very recommended for cooking just right and are of the right size that gives them a homemade feeling. chris then worked his magie and added some vinegar, salt and pepper to her all tastier./ unfortunately, as we were in a hurry, that did not last long and maybe I could not give the food the right time to enjoy it properly, but nevertheless it was one of the quietest lunches ever.
