"Best burger? No chance. Very disappointed in a tiny burger with no service. No masks and overpriced. Flavour wasn’t bad, however I have had much better before. just as a side note, salt does not create flavour. My milkshake was quite runny and my onions were missing. No terms of seating and I will not be attending furthermore. I found the lack of seating quite poor too. I can’t begin to comprehend what trust fund chump decided on daddy’s money, whilst writing for the skinniest column in esquire thought that a minuscule burger is worth a toss of 15 quid. Rubbish. Fries were definitely not ‘hand cut’ either, they’re clearly McCain home fries AND they were soggy. 50p for a sachet of red sauce? Screams the pure encapsulation of the spending economy in London. It should be free."

Very average burger, no level or service as you have to do this yourself, all touch screen ordering/payment… burger handed over with a grunt!!

Incredible burgers! I have been to many burger restaurants and this was one of the best. Last time I had one was in 2019, from what I can remember it was better!!!

The burger was simple and yet brilliant, the dirty fries were the best we have had in a while and milkshakes were perfect. We loved the simplicity and quality of the food

the burger was very nice but small and the chips were very plain and tasteless. paid around £13 for a small burger and chips which is average price i guess. would have got a milkshake too but they were around £6 each View menu

Ordered the bacon cheese burger and veggie burger today, both were cooked fresh and very tasty. Burger is a bit on the small side compared to others and for the price would say it’s a bit over priced. Would order again and would get chips next time to!

So I have been drawn into the debate on Londons best burger. And yes, bleekers is right up there, but they are small so you feel slightly unsatisfied, and buying two to create a decent lunch suddenly makes it expensive. The chips were disappointing and way too salty. Difficult to score, great tasting burger, but it just didn’t work for me as lunch.

I’d heard this was one of the best in London and had to check it out especially being directly opposite our hotel. It’s location couldn’t get any better right at the front of Spitalfields Market. Cracking burger opting for the double. The onion in the middle really makes the difference. Cooked fairly rare but definitely for the better. Swift service and cannot fault. Don’t let any of the negatives put you off, this is mentioned everywhere as one of the best for a reason View menu

Out of Five Guys, Honest Burgers, Shake Shack Bleecker, Bleecker by far is my fav. So simple. It's always consistently oh so glorious. I don't even know. what makes them so special. But I could blind taste them all and I would be able to pick out Bleeckers. I have the cheeseburger. I don't even know what's in it. Patty is definitely noticeably good. And the bun, the cheese, the sauce, freshest piece of lettuce are just there to bring out the best in the patty. I don't know. It's not cheap but every time I am just so grateful that I could buy something so delicious with money with a quick trip to the store. Staffs boys are always nice. There's a grumpy girl who should find a job she enjoys mo...

There something about American style burgers that hit the spot. I travel fairly often to the USA and singing that always ticks a box are the burgers, though I’ve never really found a good option over here… till now. I’m not a fan of ridiculous burgers that you can’t pick up because they’re so tall, with stupid bun choices and toppings. Thankfully, Bleecker is far from that! Simplicity is the key here, and they do it so well! Double Beef, Cheese, Onions and Sauce. In a seeded bun… what more could you want! Seasoned well and super tasty! The fries were a little underwhelming, though the portion size is good I’d expect something a bit tastier for the price. They were just a bit… meh. Overall I’...

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
