"Really good food, fun night, but was kind of ruined by them bringing over the bill before we'd even asked for it and telling us we had to move (hadn't even finished our wine) because it turned into a club in 30 mins. By this stage every other table was empty it would not have impacted them to leave us there for another 15 mins."

"Two of us had an itison deal and the other member of our party ordered from the regular menu. We chose mid afternoon as we expected it to be quieter and it was. The chef’s were entertaining and we enjoyed watching them cooking.and the interactive...cooking experience. Our food was very tasty and the itison deal was very good value for money. The member of our party who didn’t have the deal enjoyed her food and the dining experience. Quite costly if not using itison however you are paying for the experience as well as the food so would recommend for special occasions. Staff were all very friendly"

"Amazing. I recently took my mother to the Crazy Bear on Saturday last week for her birthday surprise. I have to say we both really enjoyed it. I was a lovely girlie evening. On arrival we were met by the hostess, who was all smiles and made us feel so welcome. She promptly took our coats and we were escorted downstairs to the bar for pre-dinner drinks. We sat at the bar where we were instantly handed a drinks menu by a hunky bar tender, named Santi I believe? Ladies, you have to meet this guy, he is gorgeous and makes a mean Martini! "So, the first problem was the booking (and the exact same thing had happened the previous time we arrived at this restaurant with an Open Table booking). I had made the booking online and received confirmation both via email and in the OT app, which I could show at the restaurant. When I made the booking very limited times were available: nothing between 11.45am and 2pm, so we assumed the restaurant would be crowded. When we arrived a little before our 2pm booking, it was three-quarters empty and they had no record of my booking. Since the place was largely empty this didn't matter, but on another occasion it might have done. And maybe one reason the place was so empty was that other potential customers had also seen no availability between 11.45am and 2pm, so Cote had no online bookings. Either Open Table or Cote need to sort out what is wrong with their booking systems as it seems that in Horsham at least the systems do not talk to each other. The food was fine, typical Cote just as you would expect, but the service was disappointing. In a largely empty restaurant one might expect efficient and attentive service but we got nothing of the sort. It was hard to get attention from any server and we had to request some items several times. Someone who from her dress was probably the duty manager, spent most of her time lounging or chatting with other staff members rather than making sure customers got good service."

"I was searching for a restaurant for a pre-theatre meal and a special place to celebrate my husband's birthday. The ambience and authenticity were fantastic, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing, we opted for the set menu priced at £35 per person. The quality of the food was outstanding, but we wished there were more dishes and larger portions per person. For example, we ordered the teriyaki salmon and there was only one piece that we had to share. I felt that since we were paying per person, the portions should have been more equal. However, the dessert was delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and visit again, but I would be more cautious with my food choices. It is a perfect location for a pre-theatre meal near the Royal Albert Hall."

"the local loves this place and from good ground. warm, welcoming service and excellent, high quality food. the tables for eating are naturally at a distance and the ambiente of the restaurant is really chilled and relaxed, just perfect. we ordered a mix of sushi selections. for this time remove . it was super fresh, the sashimi was “melting in her mouth” tender and the rice was tender and sticky and light. we enjoyed a green tee while we waited for the cute young to put it together. a totally authentic experience with fresh and tasty eating. Do not pass it!"

"we had a great evening in their restaurant! we came in without booking, and there were 8 of us at one of the evenings. the spicy margaret was just one of the best cocktails we need to order most. the cocktails taste fabulous! one of my friends has several allergens. it is not good to eat, and most of the food she cannot eat. a blonde lady took our job, and I told her I had several allergens. an Asian lady knows my allergens. she went beyond and beyond to make sure I had something to eat. she almost makes me cry because she cares about my allergens. thanks for a fabulous evening. the Asian dame and all the workers make our evening just as good as her. We will be back for more cocktails. we love this place and you are the best!"

"We are just loving this place. Our third visit and we keep coming back for more. In our opinion it is the best place in London right now to get japanese food and believe me we have been to quite a few japanese restaurants. Fabulous food, well cooked and seasoned, extensive menu and the staff could not be more helpful and attentive. We had two orders of edamme as appetisers then moved on to duck chicken gyoza. So difficult to stop eating these delightful dumplings but we forced ourselves and moved onto chicken katsu and salmon teriyaki. Both were absolutely delicious. We finished with creamy chocolate and coffee cocktails. Coupled with heavenly Miles Davis on the airwaves we left walking on air and are currently planning our next visit. With the 50% off we paid £19.60 for the whole meal. Incredible value"

"Myself and my husband ate here to kick off our honeymoon. The food in Sakanas was absolutely incredible! We had the beef teriyaki and Korean steak gambi with jasmine rice, and both were gorgeous. Steak was melt in the mouth, incredible flavour and filling. Not the cheapest but well worth what you pay. Nice atmosphere, could have done with some air con as it was very hot in there! The only criticism we had was that the guy serving our table had zero customer service skills. We didn’t get a name but he was the tall server with his hair up in a top knot. No check back to see how our food was, zero conversation, came across as pretty rude and didn’t bother asking if we’d enjoyed the food. It was a shame as some of the other servers were really friendly but we didn’t tip because of his service. Otherwise, lovely meal out! Would definitely recommend for the food itself."

Manager Barrish ‘doesn’t speak English’. Whilst on the phone to the kebab shop I heard in the background lots of shouting and swearing until the poor boy who answers the phone was ordered to shut the phone down. Cheesy chips and kebabs with two drinks for £27! Driver isn’t on their books either. Don’t waste your time or money. Thrown straight in the bin. Worst experience ever."

She cannot be seen behind all the delivery guys swarming around her, on what appears to have been a crazy busy rainy Friday night. "I really enjoyed my first time here today! My partner, toddler and I were welcomed at the door and led to a cute sized booth perfect size for the three of us! It was very cool to see all the dishes whizzing around on the conveyor belt and seeing the light in front of your table turn orange and know your dish is on its way! The only negative thing my partner and I noted was that a few of our plates did not look as clean as they could. I, personally, did not love the raw fish I tried. However, I think this may be a personal preference as this was the first time I have tried it. On the other hand, the rest of the food I tried, particularly the katsu chicken ramen was gorgeous! I would recommend this dish to everyone!"

The atmosphere is informal and laid-back, but the tables are cramped and closely packed together, giving off a canteen-like vibe. The staff seemed to be struggling to keep up with the full house, resulting in a chaotic and disorganized experience. "I lived in london in the late 80s and there were only 2 sushi bars in the city, one in the Mitsukoshi business and the other, a small but expensive in covent gardens. the brides have eaten nothing that looked like it might have been alive in these days! there were rarely any boobs in each restaurant, but how the dings have changed. at my first night in london in many years I was happy to find her me sushi a short walk from my hotel. I was dressed by the various poke dishes on the menu, but her sashimi looked even better and spent a few weeks in hawaii, I decided for the sashimi. it was totally keto friendly and delicious! I was suspicious because it was packed and was ready to go, but I ate. the maguro and lieb (salmon) was first quality and a well dimensioned part. there was only enough salat with seaweed and soy/caster/adventure to make a perfect and efficient evening meal. I will return during my 10-day stay. the personal was friendly and attentive. I spent as much as $300 per head at the likes of Kabuto-edomae sushi in las vegas and orlando, you me sushi was a really pleasant experience, cost effective and would also be a fantastic take away. but wait. there is more! her miso soup was first class!"
