"ouseburn has always been my favourite place in newcastle and I have spent many a day and night in the tyne bar. Today we ordered the nachos, hotdog and Vietnamese sweet potato fryers. wow, the food was absolutely delicious and generous in portion size and price. the hotdog was fantastic with such good smokiness and texture and the additionally fried tweepers on the summit were delicious. the nachos were served with a very nice homemade vegan cheese sauce and sour creamy chive dip, salsa and wobbles and garlic guacamole dips, while the Vietnamese sweet potatoes with such a great selection of delicious toppings were perfectly crispy. whether they are sitting inside or outside, I am sure they will enjoy their visit here with its great atmosphere and the personal and we will return soon."

"Spent a super evening at the Prospect Of Whitby, a short walk from Wapping Overground Station. Great atmosphere and Danny, who looked after us, was friendly and knowledgeable about the pub and food he deserves to go far. We had the steak and ale pie with buttery mash and braised cabbage; and the sirloin steak (cooked exactly as requested) with chips you usually only dream about, and roasted tomatoes. The red merlot gravy accompanying both meals was moreish. The Rioja wine was perfect. Along with two outside terraces that must be very popular in warmer weather we’ll be back!"

"This is a wrong recession. I've never been here before. But I'm not an enthusiastic beer drinker, nor do I love fish and chips. But this recession helps me get 11 points, so there are 5 stars of me. Nothing for bad, there are even 21 points. But I promise if you're back in the EU, I'm sure I'm cheating on you for a Leeds vs Arsenal game."

"Although they do not offer a gluten-free menu, the chef at this restaurant is excellent. She carefully checked the menu and identified several items that could be made gluten-free. I decided to try the cod with pesto and lentils, which was delicious. The food was elegant and the atmosphere was cool. They also had a nice selection of wines and beers. It was a fun experience to see dogs in the restaurant as well."

"went for bite eating with my daughter really liked the optics of the place had great comfortable chairs, staff were very friendly and helpful we ordered a pack of each bbq pulled pigs with sweet kartoffels pommes and a chicken sluice with normal fries both nice together with a beer and glass wein, service was great girl very attentive would highly recommend"

"The dining experience was not as satisfying as our previous visit, and the prices seemed too high for the quality of food. Perhaps we made poor choices in our orders, but we were disappointed after enjoying our first meal there. Additionally, we were surprised to find that they did not have a record of our OpenTable reservation, which was not ideal."

"Without a doubt one of the best bars in Durham. A really chilled atmosphere, friendly and professional staff who regularly go above and beyond to ensure a relaxed experience. The selection of beers and spirits is always expertly curated and the food is delicious with huge portions and a great emphasis on vegan food. It's got a lovely sun trap of a terrace and a pool table. There's a reason I spend far too much of my time in here."

"Following a disappointing experience at the restaurant, a return visit was made in hopes of improvements after a recent renovation. The refurbishment was extensive in both layout and design, although there are mixed opinions on the banquet seating which seems to take up a lot of space for just one person. Unfortunately, the famous cob sandwiches are still not up to their previous standards. Additionally, the quality of the beer was lacking. The management appears unconcerned and preoccupied with their own group, which can be frustrating for customers trying to enjoy the sports on TV. It is disheartening to see the decline in quality after years of enjoying this pub in Leicester."
