"Amazing experience would go every week if I could afford it! Staff are so attentive and obviously seem to enjoy their job. Owner is active in what's going on during your visit and is a real laugh! Our waitress was fantastic (I want to say Robyn? Sorry if it's wrong) but all of the girls out front were fantastic! Home cooked chips were amazing and the choice of homemade desserts made it difficult to choose! Meat was amazing and love that the owner is honest about his food! It's nice to hear a chef have confidence in the quality he's serving and it doesn't disappoint! It's a tad expensive for everyweek which is a real shame as I'd love to eat here more often! Would love to see a cheaper menu or set course deal for the early days of the week but that's just because I wanna eat there again already! I really hope if you are reading this, you try it out because it's a little gem! Thankyou again for all of your hospitality at On The Rocks!"

"We spent one night at this hotel and dined at their restaurant. The bar was lively and parking was easy. We were promptly greeted and check-in was simple. This was the cheapest room we stayed in during our 18-day trip through England and Scotland. Our room was comfortable and even had a bathtub. There were plenty of outlets for charging our devices, and the radiator and towel heater worked well. Dinner was excellent, with attentive service from two young female servers. We enjoyed carrot coriander soup, sautéed mushrooms in creamy garlic sauce, lamb shank with herbed mash and green beans, beef lasagne, chips, and a fudge brownie sundae. Everything was delicious and we had a great visit."

"Incredibly great service and a great ambience that invites you to a cozy evening! The entrance to the restaurant is very difficult to find due to the construction site, but after we spoke to one of the employees we were immediately helped. The dishes were all delicious, but not a taste experience unfortunately there was no highlight. Looking back, the main thing I remember from this evening is the ambience and the service. As written, the food was good, but unfortunately it didn't make a lasting impression on us a shame!"

"The restaurant had a cozy and relaxing ambiance, and the staff was very attentive and friendly. "Friendly welcome and great service. We were a party of seven including a toddler and birthday girl, front of house team were excellent. These are obviously difficult times and no one presumably visits TGI for the food alone however my burger was awful, with a...pattie that had the look taste and texture of a burger cooked an hour or more earlier and kept warm or more likely reheated (burger van style). Even aside from the cost it was poor, below fast food quality and nowhere near Five Guys. The tv monitor above us boasted of juicy burgers, not leathered. Come on guys, freshly cooked burgers is not a lot to ask for the price. Our total bill was close to and we enjoyed visit apart from the food"

"I left this review for a while in order to reflect as I dont like giving bad reviews. After taking my team here, I was hoping it would be good as they deserved a good meal. Unfortunately it was marred by the service. It was simply awful. It's sad as there were a coupe of people working there that were very friendly and knew what service was, but there were some that just ruined it. We ordered steaks of different cooked levels (Rare/Medium/Well Done etc. . When they came to serve the steaks, they started putting them down on the table and didn't care about which steak anyone got (as long as it was the right type of meat . I asked which steaks were which and they didn't know. Afterwards another person came and started to serve the same plates again without knowing which ones were which. Again I said that we needed to know how the steaks had been prepared, the response I got was a dirty look and attitude. After more people came they then started to try and work it out. Then someone came who knew which ones were cooked correctly. Unfortunately not all the meals were correct as some medium rares were cooked more than the mediums. The service was very slow and trying to find someone to take drinks orders during the meal or ask for the missing sauces for the food, was near impossible. In the end I had to get out of my seat and go and chase. The food itself was fine but with so much choice in London for somewhere to go, thiis place will not be somewhere I will return to. I didn'tt thing I cared about service so much until I was letting my whole team down. I suppose if you are dining in smaller groups it will be a better experience. That'll be up to you to decide."

"We were pleased to be able to book. This is one of our favourite pre- theatre restaurants. The food was as good as ever. On a busy night the service was slightly slower than we would have liked but this was acceptable. The noise level was high which I found quite difficult . Overall, the good food and the great atmosphere really set the scene for a great evening for us. Thank you. We will definitely be back but in a quieter night."

"The food here is fabulous. The place is only let down by the service. My 3 stars are for the chef and their team in the kitchen. We had a seafood platter to start which had some amazing tastes. The best thing on that platter being the smoked mackerel pate. For mains I had the lamb burger with goats cheese and my husband had the pie of the day (chicken and tarragon) both bursting with flavour and beautifully cooked. All the food eaten was excellent value for money. The decor here is quirky love the bottle covered ceiling. Seating is nicely arranged. This place should be getting 5 stars every time if it were not for the staff serving. Numerous times we had to try and get the attention of the numerous young ladies serving. They were so busy chatting that we would have to go to the bar to pay as none of them were looking up to notice numerous people putting their hands up to get service. The room too was getting quite cold before we left. I thought it was the large gap under the fire exit near our table, but it would turn out to be the door to the beer garden that was wide open that was making everyone near it put on their coats (luckily we were sat quite a way from it). If the staff had been paying attention they would surely have closed the door. Some staff training would go a long way in this restaurant. I’m sure ourselves and others would have spent a lot more on drinks and food if we’d been able to get served and had the place been warm enough with the simple closure of a door."

"It's at the Excelsior Vittoria hotel...luxurious surroundings. Had drinks on the terrace first. Beautiful views across the water with live piano accompaniment..very expensive but worth it. The restaurant itself was in a gorgeous setting by the pool lit by lamps all around. Again expensive but we had a main for 2 for 45 euros total with water. Gorgeous, delicious food and lovely setting."

"in the caffe harmonie a few times during this last week. the only reason I went first was that it was close to the hotel and we had to eat under a small time pressure and then study again. the reason why I visited the second time was that eating was so amazing at the first visit. at the first visit I decided to use the monk with tagliatelle. words can not describe how delicious it was. at the second visit I decided to get the filet steak and again; it was an excellent meal. in the words of the terminator. I'll be back! thanks to the staff for the great food and the excellent service."

"Had dinner here 30th June 2023 by way of celebration for our son graduating from Queens University, his choice! We have been before as often as we can being from distant Tyrone and quite simply are never disappointed! Warmly welcomed as always, usual dilemma of what to choose for my wife and son and straight down to business. We all enjoyed a simple pre starter with our drinks and then ordered. We all had the tempura prawns and vegetables which were simply exquisite before devouring haddock in my case, risotto with scallops for my son and the boss had a piece of baked cod which looked monumental! The Deane lager is to die for, as is the house rose and a stinking good coffee to finish! All enjoyed under the ever watchful eye of the owner who patrolled religiously as he always seems to do. Not hard to see why standards are maintained and cannot wait to return again as we undoubtedly shall. Not in any rush to take payment and get you out either. Superb meal, many thanks! Oh and by the way, I am not a fish lover normally, but I will happily make an exception for excellence!"

"The food at this restaurant is incredibly delicious and made to order. The service is friendly and very accommodating, especially when it comes to special dishes not listed on the menu. "before taking part, we had not asked for any eiersandwiche since one of the party was pregnant. we had to explain to the waiter once again that our nutritional requirements were not fulfilled, as our previous request had not been implemented. then it took 50 minutes until the afternoon. the personal in which there is usually not to be seen. it took another 15 minutes until the staff created an additional milk requirement. at the end when we wanted to leave the restaurant, I had to approach the kitchen to find a coworker to demand the bill. overall the foods, the atmosphere and the lack of employees who are visible, or the participation in a total bad experience, and not one I would probably repeat."

"We had a table booked for a lunchtime meal to celebrate our Wedding anniversary with our 2 children and we weren't disappointed. We were able to choose our own table and our drinks order was taken immediately. We also ordered 2 starters to share which were the Teriyaki Beef Vegetable Spring Roll and the Wild Mushroom Tortellini. Oh my days both dishes were absolutely delicious and we highly recommend.. For our mains we ordered two 10oz Rump Steaks, the Chicken Schnitzel with a Tomato Mascapone Sauce and the 10oz Rump Steak with half a rack of BBQ Ribs.. For dessert, the Rocky Road Cheesecake was ordered and all meals were ample and delicious. All meals were filling, delicious and were delivered in the appropriate time frame. We were so happy with the service and will definitely go back and try some of the other menu options."

"The absolute best place in Haverfordwest!! My partner and I were treated to three courses and a few cocktails. Espresso martinis and dark and stormies.. delish! Goat cheese salad starter was amazing!! The salad was full of goodies from radishes to pomegranate seeds and everything in between. My partner had the smoked duck salad equally as good! We had pan fried fresh sea bass cooked to perfection in a lemon and herb butter, we also had fillet steak with peppercorn sauce (and we ordered port and Stilton sauce as a sneaky dip for the chips) Steak couldn’t have been cooked any better and the sauces were divine! The coolest decor and the best staff they all sang along with the Birthday song for my partner too winners Thank you George’s!!"
