"It was my partners 40th birthday and after seeing some good reviews on this restaurant I decided to book. On arrival we were greeted with a friendly hello and taken to our table which was cosy and off to one side of the restaurant as I have requested. The waiter was very nice and read us the specials with much enthusiasm so we opted for the tommo steak to share and it was a fabulous decision! From starter to main and then dessert and coffee, it was all fabulous. Full of flavour and cooked to perfection. The steak was perfectly cooked with a slight pink colour throughout just how we like it. Although a little more than what I had intended on spending, it was worth the money for what we got and by the end of our meal we felt full and very satisfied. I would definitely book at Ambrosia again. Thanks very much and see you soon."

"A charming little café in the heart of Catford, which might not meet everyone’s expectations. Unfortunately, the service was quite poor. I had lunch with some friends, and I had to get up to ask our server to take our order. My friends received their meals quickly, but I was left waiting for about 10 minutes before my food arrived. I had ordered a tuna salad with bread, but no bread was served. When I inquired about it, the bread finally came about 5 minutes later. On the bright side, the food was tasty; my salad was fresh and delicious, and both of my friends also enjoyed their meals. However, when it was time to get the bill, I had to get up and ask again, which took another 15 minutes. If the service were improved, this could be a fantastic spot for a meal."

"I recently had a satisfying meal at Mem and Laz. The chicken breast was juicy and the chili sauce had a nice kick to it. I opted for the bread and butter pudding for dessert, but found it to be disappointing - dry and lacking in flavor even with the custard. Despite this, I enjoyed my overall dining experience. Please note that a service charge is included in the bill. Unfortunately, my return visit was less than satisfactory. I ordered Mediterranean vegetables but received mainly eggplant, courgettes, and onions. The eggplant had an odd rubbery texture and was difficult to cut with a knife, indicating it may not have been freshly prepared. Additionally, I noticed an increase in prices since my previous visit."

I would suggest almost raw to whatever would have been a better guide for diners. The scallops were over cooked and slightly rubbery. The chicken offerings were first class. To clarify all the food was delicious just a bit too undercooked to our taste in some dishes. We didn’t feel rushed until near the end when we were told we may have time to order dessert. Glad we did order dessert as it was delicious, but was concerned whether we would be allowed to finish before being asked to leave. Overall we were under 90 minutes from entering to leaving. They run a tight ship here, so be prepared!"

" experience has been consistently disappointing. The sushi rolls are sloppily made and the rice is overcooked. The worst part is the imitation crab meat, which tastes so artificial that it might as well be an imitation of imitation crab. Overall, I would not recommend ordering from Urawa if you're looking for quality sushi."
