"only returned from a beautiful week in y a and it was perfect in every sight! we were in a superior room that had a lot of space for the 2 of us. the bathroom was huge to london standards) and the floor heating was fantastic, after the move to return london for the day. breakfast every morning was wonderful, like the flat white ones! we only upgraded one tomorrow, as the continental offer was so impressive! the most beautiful fruit salads, the yogurt with granola and fruit-comonate....almost the trip alone worth it! y a was the perfect basis for tour london, we found ourselves most often rides, as the look of the second level was fantastic! buses to take us where we wanted to go were no longer that 2 blocks away. after a busy day in the inner city of london it was so pleasant to be back in relatiw quiet location of camden town in just 20-30 minutes. the return to the same few faces at the reception and our little boutique hotel made the london experience so intimate. with so many places to eat we have only eaten one night in y a. we chose pizza from the wood burning stove. I was a bit embarrassing to be that the guest is asked to sit in the less formal pizza salon instead of the formal dining room and the personal was happy to accommodate! the pizza was fantastic as you are expected! and huge! we ordered 2 but you would have been perfect for the exchange. many thanks to the entire team at y a! they have made our trip perfect! "The food in this Frankie and Benny's is probably the best I've had. Even better than the London restaurants. The BUT is that the service lets it down.. it's very slow. I totally understand that it gets busy and we unfortunately went at a very...busy time, it just seems like the place is very under staffed and Its not fair on the staff that are working their butts off trying to serve and keep everyone happy in a huge packed out restaurant. Our waitress was lovely, although very clearly stressed and running around like a headless chicken all evening she still had a smile on her face and still kept a sense of humour. She was very welcoming and friendly sadly we didn't get her name so I can't give a shout out. Back on to the food it was incredible. SO nice! We shared a started of Mozzarella sticks and meat balls Al Forno, the sauce was really well made, full of flavour, definitely would recommend. (pork meatballs not beef though, just a heads up). The main course came, piping hot and again, full of flavour. Probably the best burger i've had in a while. I hate when you get served a beef burger and its dry. This was defintely not dry it was lovely. Can't comment on dessert because we didn't have time as we were heading over to watch a movie at cineworld and we were just too full from the starter and main courses. The portion sizes were just right. The cocktails were really good too. We also had a shot of Limoncello, which was suggested by our waitress. I enjoyed, sadly my boyfriend found it a bit hard to swallow lol. Will 100% be returning. We had a great evening. Thank you."

"valentinstag, my first visit and very pleasant. kudos to the fabulous barbara that has greeted us and entertained, I am sure that she could keep her own in a duet with the function band that offered background entertainment. the service was very good and the waiters were attentive, efficient and apologetic (the oysters were in the menu). it was a special Valentine's Day menu and it looked all appertizing. my beetroot healed laugh with whiskers was divine and my wife foie gras was smooth and tasteful. my bark wellington was one of the best I have eaten; light pink and melted in mouth. only touched: the menu did not indicate that the monk came on the side with a tasty looking longustine; my wife is slightly alergic for carcinomas. the waiter assured us that no one was in the sauce, so we just pulled it on my plate (mmm delicious). desolate: I had the lemon tar who came with a strawberry sorbet and my wife had the chocolate truffle with the sky. my strawberry sorbet was soft and creamy as a sorbet should be. the heavenly sorrow of my wife was not. it glittered with ice crystals and it was possible to tap it with a spoon without making a dent in it; it obviously had melted sometime and then frozen again. we brought it to the waitresses and waitresses, not as a complaining, but as a suggestion that it is not served to others, as it would be spoiled, which would have been an excellent desert. the waiter rushed into the kitchen and returned soon and said that the kitchen is right that the skyberry sorbet was under par. After five minutes I was discouraged to see a procession of waiter who had the same whisper with ice crystals glistening from sorbet to not see, patrons; maybe some people like crispy sorbet all in all it was a good experience and I will visit again if only try the haggis scotch ei from the a la carte menu."
