"We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at The Village, everything was good, however we had huge problems booking a table. There was no answer on the phone number provided, and the number provided on the booking confirmation was invalid! We could only book online for 1, 2, 3 or 4 people, but not for 5 as we wanted. We booked for 4 then had to go there to request adding one, only to find out that we were the only booking they had anyway! Apparently the phone is in the office which is neither manned, or heard, when the restaurant is open. I’m afraid The Village are going to lose a lot of business if they don’t put this right quickly. Such a shame as everything else was perfect.....the food was really good, all 5 meals, great presentation, good quantities, lovely presentation, the service was great and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. We will definitely go back, if they answer the phone, or allow more than a 4 person booking online!"
