"An extremely overpriced menu. Three of us went to Sunday noon to £15 for 3 courses. The starters were serving themselves and sat on the side... some looked dried up and edible. Nothing was marked so you had to guess what was all. Most of them were salads in a small glass or compote or smoothie?? We had to ask for fresh bread and more soup that was in a Thermoskrug. The main course was mediocre. And there was no choice for Dessert. It was a compote or muffin or Danish pastry??? What everyone sat on the side with the starters. The service was terrible. No cutlery laid on the table although we had booked and reserved. We had to wait for a long time until our plates were removed, and after about half an hour of sitting we had to remove our net. We will not return!!! Terrible."

The restaurant is excellent, with friendly, welcoming, and helpful staff. I highly recommend it.

Not what I expected when I see pictures on the website. Very simple pub-type food and very limited menu.

The service was excellent as always, with the tables being clean and tidy. However, I wasn't particularly impressed with the soup this time.

The only issue I had was the long wait at the bar, over 5 minutes. It seemed like they needed more staff because the ones there seemed more focused on washing glasses than attending to customers.

There was a wedding on when we arrived but the waitress sat us in the corner so we could have a nice quiet meal which was very kind of them. Fish and chips was the best I’ve ever had! The wraps were fab to! Will be returning! X

Very expensive food for quality. We had Sunday dinner. Starters were nothing special. The 'Greek salad had no Greek cheese? The main course was beautiful and well presented. But the desserts were shocking! Apparently about breakfast items you would never choose to eat on Sunday noon for dessert. Coissants, Granola yogurt, Pain au chocolate muffins

Annual Family Christmas meal just after Xmas, waited ages for the food, then have it come out at different times. I ate my meal 45mins after the first person did. We did get a free drink as compensation but that was after I complained about it all. Would have preferred someone to come an offer this with an apology without me moaning. The food wasn’t bad but definitely not worth the prices. Shame the standards have gone down. Will be finding somewhere else next year.

Did not enjoy the Sunday carvery at all was a big let down Starters was really poor Carvery was Ok we was starving so had no choice service was very poor waitress spent most of there time talking to each other than clearing our plates I had to walk to the few times to ask about drinks and hot pudding to which I was told it over there bit we don't do hot no more so overall I wouldn't go back again if it was free so let down make the best we had quest with us all the way from Swindon

I visited here after a colleague reccommended the carvery based on her visit to the hotel in Shirley. Unfortunately I would not return to the walsall hotel based on the poor quality of the food. The yorkshire puddings and stuffing balls were stone cold. There were limited options of vegetables. The meat was poor quality and only one slice given per choice. I think adverising it as 4 courses is also misleading, particularly given there is no explanation of what this consists of. Having soup and fish are both options for starters in my opinion, i.e. 1 course. There were also no labels to explain what some of the foods were. Most were obvious but at least the soup should be labelled.

"I came across this place after reading the high number of positive reviews (also the 1 negatiw seemed to pick up at stealing! and thought it would be the perfect place to take the family for a decent evening meal! the first thing we noticed was the size of the parking lot, which has plenty of parking, so already a big positive for those who need to drive out of the far away. the size of the restaurant is quite large and really well decorated inside with an authentic feel to it. the service was really 2. to none, the personal was really friendly and was really helpful by looking into what some of the dishes were like. So we ordered our dishes and soon enough we had dinner on our table, which was a free appetizer! in addition, after our first course another round free ones arrived! so for now, nothing but praise for the place! So for beginners we had the chicken momo and vegetarian pakado’s that were amazing! the momos above all, something I never had before, it was so light and full of fresh aromen with a beautiful kick to him and the sose that accompanied it was perfect! for the net we had the gurkhali thali, which consisted of a lamb dish, lens court and a vegetarian dish with rice and puri. I enjoyed both the cute dishes, but that lame threw us all away! it was perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned so not too hot (not that I hot dishes, but the taste was immense! it was just so delicious and if I was back to visit, I would definitely order it from myself because it was so good! to go along the food, I enjoyed a beautiful glass Indian shiraz that I would never come by, so was very impressed to find it here in wednesbury! the only thing that surprised me was that for a Friday night they had only a few groups with so many other tables free! I couldn't get my head around why eating, authenticity, service, ambiente, decor. everything was 10/10, so it would be a crying scandal if this place doesn't take long as it really is worth visiting! I'm sure there'll be a visit enough to get the people back here, because I'm sure I'll go back soon!"
