"Our visit to this restaurant was disappointing. It was very quiet, with only about 15 people eating. My colleague and I shared a Tomahawk steak, which ended up being more expensive than we were told. We had to wait 20 minutes for our starters, and then another 50 minutes for our main course. When it finally arrived, we had to send it back to the kitchen to be reheated because it had been sitting out and gotten cold. Our waiter Matteo started off nice but became less helpful once it came time to pay the bill. The bill included a 12.5% service charge, which I was considering asking to have removed. Overall, I would not choose to visit this restaurant again."

"Wow! Another happy visit from the Pizza Aficionadoughs. First, the service was perfect. I have not received service this generous in years. The Pizza Aficionadoughs were given new plates for all three courses. Second, appetizers and salads made for a tasteful start. The onion rings were some of the best, and the Harvest Salad came with yummy pecans. Side House/Caesar salads are ideal for those not wanting to share. For pizza, we ordered two specials: Southwestern BBQ thin crust and Coronary thick crust. Pizza Aficionadoughs consensus was split over which za was liked the best. The BBQ Pizza crust was superb, whereas the thick crust had more of a cornmeal bite. Regardless, both made for happy and yummy pizza. It was a Pizza Aficionadoughs birthday and we had to celebrate! Chocolate Cake, KeyLime Pie Cheesecake, and Carrot Cake. The Pizzeria gifted us the Carrot Cake. IMO, the cheesecake was best. However, all three were delicious. Do try Pizzeria Aroma for yourself!"

"The restaurant is situated right in the heart of Leicester Square, which is definitely one of the prime locations in this part of London. You can easily reach Canary Wharf and the city, all the way to Big Ben and beyond. We had a reservation for 3 people, but unfortunately, they couldn't locate our booking. Fortunately, they were able to seat us on a spacious balcony. We had received confirmation from OpenTable and showed it upon our arrival, but they still couldn't find our reservation."

"I love the experience. High-end gourmet food and loved the fact that it was all vegan! the presentation was spectacular. I still dream of the truffle pasta and the wee was very good. service was quiet but good. To be honest, I would have loved to be a smaller meal, as I would not have done justice to the last courses. it was just too much to eat. in everything they had 10-11 courses! my only annoyance was the waitress that gave me the menu when I asked for the wine card. "I’ve been 3x to this restaurant now, and every time the service is as bad. On most recent visit, went inside, asked for a table (after being ignored by maitre’d for 5 minutes) and was told to wait. Several waiters passed me, the maitre’d maintained her position by the till, but no table was ever given. We gave up after a further 10 minutes and left. On the previous 2 visits we did manage to get a table, but the service was incredibly slow. The waiters seem trained in the art of attending to one table and then quickly rushing indoors without passing a glance to other tables who may need help. Maybe they are understaffed, but being aware of the restaurant space and customers is the first rule of serving tables. On my first visit, I complained about the service to the owner who happened to be there. He was very brief with us I would go as far to say rude. He said restaurant was very busy and we’d just have to wait for our main courses. Our starters had been cleaned away over 20 minutes previously. He later came over and apologised which is why I gave the restaurant a second go. Second visit, we sat outside again. Same very slow, very inattentive service. The bill took so long to come, I was considering just walking off. So why come back a third time after such bad service? Well, if you do manage to eat, the food is actually really good. Well cooked, traditional Italian style and really good pizzas too. I won’t be back a fourth time. I’ve given this restaurant every chance (and my visits are over a 2 year period so they have had plenty of time to sort their service out). And if the owner is happening to read this, just imagine how much business/money you are losing through your poor waiting staff? I have no doubt many, many other people simply leave after waiting to get a table and being ignored."

"The staff were excellent, efficient and polite. Me being me had an awkward order mixing up the menu choices and the Manager came to our table and then ensured my request was carried through which it was. So I was impressed by the personal touch from the management. The food and service were great. I would have had another fried chicken if I had room for it. Definitely the best-fried chicken I had ever had.. everyone else in my party commented on the food is excellent."

"came here for a company. so did not get the full experience, so to speak as it was finger / impromptu buffet eating / service. definitiw a place for when it is wet and cold outside, like its way in the cellar of the building where it is warm and smuggling. the service was efficient and professional. the food we had was good. pretty delicious roasted sandwiches, very good pizza and calamari. it is not a good food, but the menu they would not expect. it is more offered by classic, reliable, working well for lunch. beverages were not too expensive due to its position on mount street. they go back and check it to the lunch right in the near future."

"We ordered the set menu and food was nice but had to repeatedly remind the staff about the dessert and coffee, which was included to it. We also needed to repeatedly ask for extra cutlery and plates, in order to avoid sharing food from salads, meat platter etc. given the 'new normal ' situation. "Newly opened we were warmly welcomed and shown to an excellent table in the window area. First impression was the tables are well spaced so private discussion is easily achieved. The menu concentrates on fish although meat dishes are available. There were 5 of us dining and we were treated to some superb cooking with not a single complaint from my normally critical colleagues who ordered a variety of dishes. All the fish, whether Bream, Sea Bass or Giant Prawns were cooked to perfection. Atmosphere was muted as, having just opened to the public, it is not widely known yet. This will change as the standard of cooking and service were outstanding and I would unhesitatingly recommend it."

"of us had a Main Course before going to the theatre directly opposite perfect location. At the pub (separated from the restaurant) was heaving but the restaurant was empty just us. Chatty and helpful waiter. Food very tasty but the portion sizes seemed odd. Beef Mushroom Pie: big, lots of other stuff, too. Smoked Salmon Fishcake: just a small fishcake on a few bits of spinach underneath with a poached egg and sauce on top. Therefore, the of us with the fishcakes felt short-changed. The glass of red wine was corked but the waiter sorted that out efficiently and knocked something off the bill. Perfect. I'd probably go again though."

"The only pub we could get a table for Sunday lunch on Fathers Day we took a chance (after reading some of the dreadful reviews) and booked. Sadly the poor reviews were correct. Split into two with an area for eating and a bar section it was surprisingly quiet for a Sunday afternoon which gave a rather flat atmosphere. I will say all of the staff we dealt with were exceptionally friendly and helpful so from the outset we felt welcomed and looked after. Sadly this was the only positive of the lunch. Four out of five of us ordered the roast beef, unusually for a pub, there was no wine list so when the order was taken our server reeled off a number of drinks we could order which was not ideal as we had no idea of price. When the meal arrived the beef was inedible it was so tough, the roast potatoes were so hard you couldn't get a knife through them and a rather dry Yorkshire pudding. Limited veg was served with the meal but the gravy was decent. The fifth diner ordered burger and chips and had no complaints. We did complain about the roasts and one meal was deducted. We were charged £18 a head for the beef roast my advice is save yourself some pennies and go to your local Toby!"

"I can hardly believe that this is not a large chain restaurant, the branding and identity are so well done. The service I received made me feel like the most important customer to ever walk through the door! The menu is great, and the burger I had was one of the best I've had in years. Is it perfect? I would have preferred a cider or beer, but they only have non-alcoholic or hot drinks. However, the soda was delicious. And the desserts were amazing as well. It's a shame there isn't a Fernandez closer to my home, but maybe it's for the best since I would probably eat there 5 nights a week!"
