"The food was great (had a very lovely afternoon tea) but unfortunately the service was poor; although polite when speaking to us the service staff pretty much ignored us once we had ordered our food. My friend and I wanted to order another hot drink but had to wait 45 minutes for someone to take our order (despite attempting to get someone’s attention several times) and then again when wanting to get the bill it took standing up and putting our coats on after another long time waiting (and asking several people) to actually get the bill. I want to blame it on how busy the restaurant was however we saw several tables around us come and go in the time we were there."

Very large pizzas looked amazing, but it was Monday lunch so… Shout out to the wine list as well if you are in to that mark ups looked pretty good at the higher end. Service was excellent."

"If you think Italian food is your local Italian on the high street think again. Dieci introduces you to flavours, concepts and dishes that will transport you the fields of Tuscany, the cobbled streets of Florence and the terraces of Rome. Whether it’s the main menu or some of the smaller bites that are available, each dish is perfectly crafted and executed to the most exacting standards. You can tell that head chef Fabrizio pours his heart, soul and a lot of love into each dish. The innovative edge he brings to classic Italian ingredients is a joy to behold and each mouthful will send you to heaven. Parmesan churros, arrancini, carpaccio with tuna, Burrata with sun dried tomatoes, a goats cheese medallion these were just some of the delights we sampled. For mains, we had steak, with a sweet, rich and creamy peppercorn sauce. Dessert was sensational. Panna cotta, tiramisu, cheesecake and a chocolate fondant bathed in salted caramel sauce. Everything was simply perfection. This is Italian food taken to the next level. An artist who has mastered his craft. The settings are tranquil. If you fancy the perfect end to the experience, the attentive staff will take you to the cigar bar where you can sample the finest cigars in the city. The service is impeccable. Maurizio and Claudio made us feel extremely welcome and the attention to detail was evident throughout. Quality runs through the veins of this establishment and it is a must try for anyone looking to push the boat out for a special occasion. Could not fault any aspect of this visit. 11/10"

"I have eaten here several times prior to lockdown was keen to return but this visit was a disaster from the start sadly. The toilets are down a spiral staircase and the lift was out of order, as I use a mobility aid, meant that after attempting once, I didn't want to drink during the rest of my meal. After telling the staff my allergies was told that there wasn't any on the menu when I pointed out that there were, they were better and offered options. The food was tasty but arrived at different times which we weren't told would happen. So we ordered calamari as a starter, my main course arrived within minutes of ordering and was then cold, by the time the calamari arrived, my friend's main arrived just after the calamari. They are large portions though. Personally wouldn't go again but my friend would because of the location and the food was nice."

"Food was good, service was efficient. The restaurant offered 30% discount, so this made it affordable, otherwise, it is quite pricey compared to similar restaurants in nearby edgware road. Its was a bit distracting around 830 pm when they start to shut down the restaurant, moving tables, etc, so that you can no longer have a conversation due to the noise. perhaps this only happens on Monday night?"

"Excellent food, freshly prepared by the owner chef of this independent little gem set amidst many restaurants and bars. Clean place, friendly service and great food at a good price. We had the 3 course meal for 2 including a bottle of wine for £50 so enjoyed many new tastes and finished with delicious Turkish tea and a chat with some of the regulars. Unfamiliar with the area we had walked up and down Old Christchurch Road for 30 minutes trying to decide which of the many restaurants we should dine in; Trip Advisor reviews, FSA ratings and the menus on display were helpful. We picked Saray for all those reasons plus seeing seemingly Turkish diners eating there which seemed a good advert for authentic, traditional cuisine. We were delighted with our decision, enjoying friendly, personal service from the waitress plus the owner chef who’s been running it for 14 years. Don’t be put off by the basic decor the room and company were warm and welcoming. We had a great evening and felt happy to have supported a local business. We would 100% recommend Saray."

"the personal was amazing that everyone smiled and really woke up. the presentation of foods was really impressive the visualization and plates. Unfortunately, eating was not so big missing aromas and flavors. ramen nudeln looked rather disappointing not sure what kind of noodles, but tasted like the cheapest. the huh katsu was missing, as mentioned above, also the taste. sushi wasn't bad, can't complain, but not so good for the price. I'm glad we tried this restaurant because we were much interested, but I don't think we're back."

"We dined at Southern Spice on Saturday, April. Four of us had a pleasant evening meal there. The appetizers were fantastic, particularly the soft shell crab and lamb samosas. The main dishes were also delicious, with the Chicken Korma standing out. The desserts were lovely as well, especially the ice cream with cooked corn and the brûlée. The service was excellent, with discreet and attentive staff who were very friendly and accommodating. We plan to return soon and would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a quiet evening in a nice, no-frills restaurant with great food. "We had a horrible experience. Would never go there ever again!! The owners were fuming that we only ordered four dishes between the three of us TO START, with the intension of ordering more later AND also that we only ordered soft drinks, not wine. The owners publicly humiliated us and destroyed our night by announcing to the restaurant that we weren't spending enough money and hadn't ordered enough to cover their costs so we it was not worth their while to have us there. They said their minimum spend was £15 per person, although this is not stated ANYWHERE, and when we calculated how much we had spent, it already came to £18.5 per person. Money was not an issue for any of us and we simply just wanted to order as we went. The man went on about it for rough 5 to 10 minutes in front of the entire restaurant. The food was delicious but the service and overall experience was horrible. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this! I have never had such a horrible dining experience before."

"The customer service at this restaurant is terrible, especially from the manager who is very rude and lacks knowledge about customer service. When I complained about the burnt pizza, he became aggressive and started making excuses. How would I know the taste of the pizza if I didn't eat it? After returning the pizzas that were picked up by the driver, the manager refused to refund my money because we had eaten some slices. Despite ordering 2 large pizzas and a side for 4 people, we only ate a few slices as everyone agreed that the pizza tasted burnt. I am extremely disappointed with both the customer service and the quality of the pizza. I strongly advise against ordering from Islington Pizza Hut as they are rude and the taste of the pizza is awful. I lost £20 and I don't want others to lose their money too."

"I haven’t been to the Golden Hind for a couple of years. It’s still great fish and chips. The menu is much larger, so it’s not quite the local chippy anymore. However, my vegetarian friend loved the non-fish menu and had the deep fried mozzarella. The prices have increased a lot, but fish is more expensive everywhere. Service was friendly and helpful."

"Great quality Italian Meal with very friendly staff and great value for money. Complimentary doughballs and olives to start followed by plentiful Monkfish and a delicious tortellini, washed down with half a carafe of white wine. Just to cap it off, the cheeseboard was amazing for £5.80, with 4 cheeses plentiful for 3 people let alone one and came with a complimentary glass of port. We have never had a cheeseboard for such a great value anywhere else. We will definitely return."

"where I started, at first the food was exaggerated and unbeatable, most of the plates I ordered were loosely spiced and the dessert was icy in the middle I think it was frozen. not only eating was not good, but the service also failed me. the waitress was not interested, and when I ordered, it seemed as if she had not understood and forced it. really unprofessional. she did not respect the space boundary between me and her from whom I was really concerned. overall, the waitress should be welcoming and helpful, which was not in this case. the manager didn't help me when I was worried about eating. Italian restaurant? No one was Italian there and eating didn't taste like that, and it was very expensive. was it gilded? No and really surprised by him because the food was atrocious, why would I pay all this for something that is bad. I have rated many restaurants, but this is the first time that eating and the service both were bad. I would give these 0 stars, but I can only give them happiness. for a son who orders her in this crazy house, it's not that bad."
