since they had a vegan menu, I go back as often as I can! really love their mushrooms and chorizo style slider burger, tortilla and the croquettes! must visit when they are in ostlondon updated by the previous review on 2019-08-01

we traveled to the opposite to make a star who looked at the nearby dark sky reserve for our jubilee and stopped here for an evening meal. the food and service was great and the establishment of the pubs is charming, warm and welcoming.

beautiful large beer garden, which is good for the summer as we always seem to get a table. even if the pub is busy, the service at the bar is always fast, a big bonus. I have tried the roast several times and enjoyed each time, only negatiw could be a bit bigger, good for me, but some of my friends were hungry. View menu

had a late start with a friend Saturday afternoon, we were very happy to get a table in the beer garden. Saturday afternoon it was soouu busy, there were a few birthday meetings, but so nice to have a lot of space outside. the staff was so busy when they were thrown away from the feet, absolutely brilliant when they took our orders that they kept on their cake, delivered good food drink. very friendly hardworking staff still managed, very polite smiles 10 10 10 ! highly recommended if they are in the opposite!

Delicious!. Well, it was our first night out in a long while as our little boy has only just turned one. so we finally managed to find a lovely babysitter we can trust& we wanted to go somewhere local. Our friends told me about this place and we were not des appointed with the recommendation! Very cosy, food was delicious, especially the grilled pulpo! Nutty sherry, and great wine AND knowledgeable waitress who was great. Lots of people under appreciate how much food knowledge waiters are expected to know these days- everyone loves their food, right!? She seemed genuinely enjoying working there too. Thanks for looking after us on Tue night! We'll definitely be back w some friends!

As I am always keen to try out new places, even in remote parts of London, like Dalston, I was very keen to go there. Dalston is super trendy and edgy (if you don’t know where it is, and as this is a fairly new place a lot of people don’t, it is north of Shoreditch) and “Black pig and white pearls” fits right in, as from the outside the building is black and there is no sign on the house, and the only thing that lets you know you have come to the right place is a blackboard located on the street with the name of the place.
