"Walk-ins... my wife and I already trust the foundry for their menu, service, staff and facilities. we were unsafe what we wanted to do with this opportunity, until before the house freshly baked scones from the many suggested......no brains! we were not disappointed after we had our...`cream tea` by our attentive Lady staff member our latte coffee together and generously dimensioned, beautiful aroma scenes (one in each case) and bumper shares of camouflaged cream with strawberry jam arrived at our table without delay. the revised and more comfortable seating opportunity, relaxed unobstructed environment pleasant personal improves the eating experience. the only things that were still thirsty were the plants of caffe. but they got a drink after I had asked if it was ok to water them to round off our latest pleasant visit in the foundry."

"it is a balmy septembernacht in london and my flight had just arrived from berlin. all the contests had warned me so far to smoke as if the ice age comes, but there I sat in a T-shirt comfortable but hungry. Of course, smartphones choose our meal in these days and instead of wandering around possibly with a less than hearty meal, I flicked through the four square app. I came over a seemingly decent restaurant with a 8.9 rating that was only 0.2 miles away. the decision was made and I was scared to the “Chicken Shop”. the cake “Chicken Shop” back to home in Australia in style strong pictures of a small family business with delicious rotisserie huh, but in a dirty view of a load. Typically there would be cold metal furniture, greasy flowing floors and a flickering blue insect light on the back, which intermittently flushes, as it takes out the bugs that did not land in the food. it's fast and easy, not pretty, but it's sure how the hell is delicious. That's exactly what I expected when I arrived at the location kentish town. I couldn't find the entry first. I was hopeless looking for an oversized fluorescent window with a friendly looking international load owner behind a chrome counter top. Instead, I finally noticed a doorway with a minimalist sign above that shows the word “Chicken Shop”. I started to hear the sounds of emotional music when I walk down the polished wooden stairs, which on a dimly illuminated restaurant floor with designer furniture, candles, stylish decoration and a well-stocked bar. it was certainly not the picture I had on the way forward. the waiter greeted me with a warm smile and explained that the menu sits on the wall on the back, similar to the chicken shops at home. the concept has made sense. they took the classic idea of a family-run almost food shop, but added the flair of the fine-smeller. the place radiates class, but it does not lose its friendly local huh business feeling. I was excited about my order of half a chicken and watched how the chefs raised 24 hours of marinated, steamed and rotisserie roasted birds in the open kitchen. the hunch came ready in a takeaway polystyrene box. I made myself eager to the top to find a nice place through a canal or in a park to shove on the tasty quality. the odour that was overcome by my carry bag took over me and I sat on a bordstein as if there were no tomorrow. the box flew open in holy Grail fashion to see the delicious looking golden brown, juicy huh they hope to see from here to timbuktu. during the meal, I was only plastered for a second to mourn the loss of a piece that I had dropped during my trance as eating condition. I didn't want to waste the tasty eating and offered it to a passing puppy. the owner chased her dog disgusting. if only this pooch knew what he missed. I'm done and licked the house made hot soße clean of my fingering. finger lick good they say? in any case!"

"I was looking for a quick bite to eat after a day of beachcombing and decided to try the mushroom and halloumi burger. I'm so glad I did! It was served with some of the best fries I've had in ages, and the burger itself was incredibly flavorful. My order was brought right to my car, and from the moment I placed it to when it arrived was under fifteen minutes. Excellent service and delicious food!"

"Thought this place was safe, considering the manager came to take my order when I told the staff I was coeliac, and my meal came out with a little gluten free flag. Unfortunately I had a terrible reaction, and reading some of the other reviews from the chain I feel like they probably don't actually know what ingredients are safe for coeliacs. I had the duck salad guessing that they probably don't use gf hoisin or something. Annoyingly they won't reveal the full ingredients of a dish."

"We ordered online to collect our food for when the shop opened which is a nice feature. The vegetable burger is possibly the best one I've ever had and the chips were nice and a decent portion too. It's a shame they don't have many vegetarian friendly options but the burger makes up for it! Vegetarian options: While the menu doesn't offer much for vegetarians, the vegetable burger is possibly one of the best I have ever had! Service: Take out"

"I went in there last night with a mate and ordered a couple of pints. The pub has recently been gentrified so the beer was naturally pricey. We sat in the lounge, not far from the door to the garden outside and it was cold and drafty there due to the door being constantly opened by people going outside to smoke etc, and the door not closing by itself. When I complained to the barmen, asking them why not put a hinge on door, they told me if I was cold to go and sit somewhere else. I did not like this flippant attitude from them. There were 3 other people who were sat even nearer the door, who were also feeling cold, and got up to close door. The autumn and winter are coming it 's going to get colder in that 'warm and cosy ' pub!"

"Having had the most incredible meal at sister restaurant Pidgin last summer, we were really keen to try Magpie. The central location was great and the restaurant itself had a lovely dimly lit atmosphere. Sadly the food didnt quite match up to our high expectations and we didnt feel the money we paid for it really reflected the quality or choice. Would give it a second try but not in a rush to go back."

"So service started well greeted as me and my sister entered, got drinks an ordered food. Then from there it went down hill. Order 2 tikka masalas, the food came fast enough but was disappointed when it arrived. 8 pieces of chicken no bigger than a thumb nail that was like microwaved bullets, they served the dish with sour cream which was very weird. Once the chef had finished cooking for us, she sat back at her table with her colleague and proceeded to chat. No check back or anything. Left very disappointed at it all and at £36 for 2 dishes and 2 cokes I expected a lot more for my money and quality too."

"The Brasco Lounge in Liverpool is a lovely place to eat. The atmosphere, the staff, the location, the big windows, the chilled out music and the food drink make it one of my favourite places to meet up. There is a seperate vegan menu, which is lovely, but if nothing is quite right for you you can tweek by adding extras or sides. (There are seperate gluten-free and kids menus too). Nothing is too much trouble and the staff are welcoming and helpful. There is a table containing activities for littles ones and if your dog is well behaved, they will welcome and cater for your dog too. Today I had brunch with my daughter and step-children (aged 3 and 10 months). I had sweet potato waffles with avocado, black beans, lime and coriander, with a sauted mushroom extra. My grandson is weening baby-led, so the staff did him little bowls of cucumber sticks, avocado, hummus and banana. There are plenty of accessible high chairs. There is a choice of two vegan puddings I have had the dark chocolate and coconut torte and can recommend it. I like tea very weak and milky so they gave me two jugs of soya milk and an extra pot ot hot water. You can help yourself to chilled water and glasses. The drinks menu is varied and quality and includes hot, cold, smoothie and alcoholic. There are a variety of tables and chairs of different styles and heights, and their are couches. For me, it's hard to think of anything they haven't thought of but if you do, I am sure they will welcome the suggestion."

"We stopped for lunch during the CubaDupa weekend. I ordered the cheeseburger and my lunch partner ordered the chicken wings (5 of them . The burger was very good. The service was very friendly (nearly to familiar . Water was served promptly and the beer I ordered also arrived very quickly. Given the amount of people, the burger and chicken wings arrived in good time. (we were not in a hurry and were able to sit outside where is was quieter. The chicken wings were slightly under cooked and I found the sauce a bit to spicy. (I had 1 as 5 were to many for my companion. between 3 to 4 is a large serving. . We were uphold a basket of fries. These were quit pricey and too salty. (I also overheard another table commenting on how salty the fries were. Our total bill came to $56 (cheeseburger, fries, 5 chicken wings, a lemonade, a beer . The coffee I ordered did not turn up. I will go back to try the coffee. (bottomless cup ."

"Feeling peckish after arriving in the town I happened upon this little takeaway. It had seating out front which I thought would be handy on the warm morning of my visit. I ordered the 'French ' panini. That meant a filling of brie, ham and cranberry. It wasn 't panini bread, it was a grilled baguette. The baguette was a decent size. I had my reusable cup filled with tea bit of a self serve after the hot water 's been added (bit like Greggs). As I made my way outside I got a warning about seagulls.... I sat down and when my sandwich (double wrapped in paper bags) was placed on the table it didn 't take a minute for a feathered monster to swoop. Luckily I got there first. The sandwich was tasty and when I finished and balled up the wrappings on the table, said bird swooped and got away with paper. A chap from the shop went onto the road to retrieve the litter. Maybe a parasol or awning might be beneficial if the Council gave permission. It does put me off returning. And walking along the road I noticed other places with outdoor seating did not seem to have any bother with the birds of St Andrews. Anyhow, my baguette/panini cost £3.80 and tea was £1.30. There were some tempting traybake treats in the counter display, but I didn 't partake on this occasion."

"Wonderful experience. First time in the area and we walked into the most welcoming environment, the owner treated my children so well and was very accommodating. The food was DELICIOUS. You can clearly tell there is a lot of effort into the preparation and the ingredients in the dishes. Favorite spot by far"
"Food was all excellent and generous portions (we tried several dishes preordered from the Christmas menu) and the upstairs room is very nice for dining. Very reasonable pricing. Would definitely go again. Only small area for improvement might be to provide a drinks menu and maybe a wine list (even if there are only 2 or 3 of each). Looking forward to our next visit. "We’ve been before plenty of times and LOVE dip flip. Going recently though, the gravy (which is their unique selling point, so should be on point! wasn’t as thick as usual, very watery! and there was barely any both that comes with your burger and in with the gravy cheesy chips. Stingy portions compared to normal. So I was disappointed. If it was like this all of the time I wouldn’t return as it really makes the meal usually. Also I tried a chicken burger for the first time and wouldn’t go for it again, seemed a bit overdone and stringy, very hard to bite into. Tables weren’t spaced out very well at all, but the service from the ladies there were brilliant. The guy that seated us seemed like he was inexperienced and needs more training. I’ll return praying that the gravy improves again, if it doesn’t then it will be a no go for me after that"

"30.5.2019 Met up with a friend having a long chat over a bottle of wine, staff were brilliant, great atmosphere, nice to hang out on the balcony putting the world to rights. 25.5.2019 Update : finally came to test out the food with family and friends, the one night it seems most of my street came to try the food. I had the lamb burger with chips and my partner had the lamb shank which we both enjoyed. Staff tonight even under pressure were attentive, friendly and efficient. What a wonderful atmosphere, so nice to see friends who came separately to celebrate their 25 years of marriage. Well done to the Managers and the staff who helped to make a wonderful memory. _________________________________ So nice to have a traditional bar back where it belongs. "This was our first meal out after the lockdown and it did not disappoint. The vegan burger was delicious, with the added bonus of a gluten-free option. However, the real highlight was the rosemary chips - they were incredibly tasty. The portion sizes were generous and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant."
