"I went to Five Boroughs with my partner for a late dinner last night. there was a guy there who had clearly taken far too many drugs, he passed out in the restaurant and was not breathing. My partner and a former emergency nurse, who was also in the restaurant, went to him, checked his pulse and immediately started giving him cpr. when he regained consciousness, she kept him in the recovery position to help regain blood pressure while my partner called an ambulance. His friend got him up and tried to get him out of the restaurant, the guy was barely standing and kept passing out over our table on his way out the door. The nurse was trying to get him back on the ground in the recovery position, but the restaurant owner was shooing them out of the restaurant saying, he 's fine, he just needs some fresh air. They left the restaurant and I saw him pass out on the other side of the road again, his mate hauled him up and kept moving. The owner had a massive go at my partner and the nurse for trying to do first aid and make sure he was safe in the restaurant."

My partner and I visit Wellington every other month, and we always make sure to dine at Five Boroughs. The food is incredible, the staff is very relaxed, and they honestly serve the best chicken in Wellington.

Honestly, I’m a bit speechless right now. Mouth watering gnocchi, cooked to perfection. Not to mention presented beautifully. And the Mac n cheese, just phenomenal. I’m in awe ! Adore this place, perfect for lunch !

We were aiming for Fidel's, which people rave about but it was packed and so we crossed the street and stumbled across this great cafe, empty! It was exceptional for it's original and diverse menu. Try the crayfish hotdog with lime. Great service too, and we got to WOW on time!

Had the buttermilk fried chicken burger. Seriously the best burger I've had in Wellington. There's something about sauce that seems like one of the most important things for me in a burger. Too much is not enough. Bun good. Chicken crispy with a delicate kick of spice for my whiteboy palate. Legends.

So I order 3 pieces of Fried Chicken. $15 I think, wow that’s pretty expensive for 3 pieces of chicken but then assume it will be a very decent serve size. But no, I get 3 chicken wings. Literally 3 chicken wings for $15 !!!!! Come on guys seriously !!! And to top it off, it was so excessively salty I had to drink Coke. I never drink coke !!! Really really bad

I found what may be the world's best hangover meal. The Dirty Randy breakfast at Five Boroughs is 2 perfectly fried eggs, hash browns, and bacon on a fresh roll. Whether one's hang over is from too much travel or to much wine or a combo of both this is a good choice. The others enjoyed a scramble named South Pacific with big chunks of corned beef in a heap of soft scrambled eggs. Oh, and the coffee is great also.

Extremely disappointed, spent $47 for some wings and chips. when they got delivered they were not cooked properly, has blood coming out of the bones. and it looked semi-cooked. looked like they had been frozen and cooked . has no taste or flavor. called to complain about the person who took the message was not very helpful at all. the owner on the top was abusive and not accommodating. ALL I CAN SAY BAD FOOD AND TOP IT UP REALLY REALLY BAD SERVICE. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.

The fitout is great, the music very cool and the staff were very friendly and efficient. The place was also quite busy with people looking quite contented. Yet I won't be back. We ordered ribs, sloppy joe (which means mince in a bun), fries, asparagus and slaw. The fries were not really crispy as I like them to be indicating they were not cooked at the right temperature, or delivered fast enough to the table. And they had too much horrible seasoning on top, as did everything else. Seasoning is just salt played around with. A little goes a long way. I have been to the USA many times, and eaten in New York a few times. I didn't find they over seasoned their food! The sloppy joe was nothing to...

We stopped for lunch during the CubaDupa weekend. I ordered the cheeseburger and my lunch partner ordered the chicken wings (5 of them . The burger was very good. The service was very friendly (nearly to familiar . Water was served promptly and the beer I ordered also arrived very quickly. Given the amount of people, the burger and chicken wings arrived in good time. (we were not in a hurry and were able to sit outside where is was quieter. The chicken wings were slightly under cooked and I found the sauce a bit to spicy. (I had 1 as 5 were to many for my companion. between 3 to 4 is a large serving. . We were uphold a basket of fries. These were quit pricey and too salty. (I also overheard...

"we wanted to visit the midlands and family for the first time since Christmas and in the frame of the visit I decided that we would take my mother for a nice Sunday dinner. she lives in telford and I am not familiar with the contrary so that I am on tripadvisor for ideas. I mean, I was looking for restaurants in Telford and sorted by rating; clays of broseley was the best from the list and that was what I booked. it is about a minute drive from my mother place through a beautiful shropshire landscape. we arrived in broseley a little early and found a parking space right in front of the restaurant. we were invited to take place on the terrace while they opened and had some drinks. I had a fantastic homemade limonade with glittering water, my mother had a Rhabarb juice that was so delicious that we were strolling home with us and my wife had a very nice pot tee. we had booked a table that had been placed in the restaurant for us, but we were offered the table on the terrace for lunch, which we liked to accept as the weather was perfect. we all ordered from the midday card, which for two courses and for three courses was a fantastic bargain. I ordered salmon and hake meatcakes with delicate brokolli, spargas and a white wine sauce and my wife and mother both ordered the beef Sirloin roast dinner. I was so impressed with eating. honestly, this restaurant lives up to all reviews. the ingredients were fresh and tasty and not refined as they get some places. to dessert my mother and I both had the rhubarb and custard' and playful plate that rhubarb compott, gelee, vanilla cream and small mygues combined crazy. the perfect end for every afternoon. during the meal were the employees (I'm sorry to say that I didn't get their names) attentive and friendly. our month old sohn, henry, has a stinking cold and has teethed, so was not on his best behavior, but the staff was fantastic with him. They even went so far that they broke out one of their dogs, a beautiful, huge dog called barney, for henry's entertainment. to cover everything, and this is great for parents of small children, they had a full baby change unit, complete with diapers, wipes and unhappy bags! I can honestly say I've never seen this before. all in all, for three nets, two desserts and drinks, the bill came less than unnecessary to say, I intend to visit again when we are close. I really can't wait."
