"The atmosphere at the restaurant was lovely and the staff were attentive. However, the Sunday lunch experience was disappointing. Priced at £30 for a 3-course meal, the beef was overcooked and tough, making it difficult to eat. The portion size of the roast potatoes and vegetables was small. The chocolate and raspberry cake was dry and would have been improved with some pouring cream."

"A fantastic restaurant in Telford, set in a uniquely transformed old church that adds charm to the dining experience. The young staff members are well-trained and attentive to the needs and requests of diners. The food was outstanding, featuring high-quality meats and fresh vegetables, all cooked to perfection. We were part of a larger group, and while there were a couple of minor issues—specifically, the soup was served lukewarm but promptly reheated, and the pork belly was a bit on the thin side, resulting in it being overcooked and dry—the majority of the dishes were excellent, and many in our group praised the food. It is a bit pricey, but definitely worth a visit for a unique dining experience."

"I visited on a busy Saturday afternoon and was happy to find that the only table free as I arrived happened to be bathed in the afternoon! this place has a friendly, relaxed mood as they hang with friends, but friends who have...big taste, are talented in the kitchen and proud of fantastic service! the quesadillas I had were absolutely delicious, full of taste, the kind of tasty they still find themselves scary to have again months later (and under an absolute bargain, there is a difference between price and value and I had at least double my money worth, thank you). I'll be back and bring friends next time, thank you."

"A really disappointing experience. When I arrived all the staff were busy, so I took a seat. I got essentially told off by a waitress for this. My mistake, I thought, so just forgot about it. I arrived at Noon at it took 20 minutes to take my drinks order and I didn’t get order any food until gone 12.45pm. Again though, they had warned that the kitchen was a little behind (they said 10 minutes) and a large group arrived just after me so no big deal. Then, as one of our group went to the toilet a waitress grabbed the empty chair (without asking) to give to another group. We very politely informed them that there was in fact someone sitting there. “You should have put a bag there, then” came the reply. Very unpleasant totally unreasonable. "I appreciate the incredible food at the Huntsman, which is undoubtedly a standout feature. However, I must express my disappointment with the young waiting and bar staff who, unfortunately, appear inexperienced and untrained. Their lack of efficiency, occasional mistakes, and slow service have been noticeable, and it's disheartening to witness these issues persist in front of the seemingly unconcerned landlord. For instance, walking away from the bar when there is a long queue is frustrating for all guests and indicates a lack of awareness and prioritisation. While the food at the pub is exceptional, the service aspect requires attention and improvement and I hope the management takes this feedback constructively to create a more efficient and enjoyable atmosphere at the pub."
