The service at this restaurant is top-notch and the food is excellent. The staff is attentive and the view from the hotel is spectacular. It's a quiet and peaceful place to enjoy a meal.

The restaurant provided excellent service and the food was delicious. The starter was enjoyable and the portion sizes were generous, leaving no room for dessert. The prawn and chili linguine was particularly excellent.

Visited here for a family get together at the beginning of December. Food was good quality and reasonably priced. It's more of an eatery than somewhere you would pop to for a pint as there isn't really a bar area as such.

Booked at The Huntsman for my Nan's 80th birthday. The food was exquisite, as always. We had a table of 13 and we were all accommodated and looked after well. The staff were all wonderful and polite. The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful, taking the time to engage in conversation with our group of 9 and making us feel very welcome. The food was absolutely amazing, and the dining area was clean and well-organized. We all appreciated the festive decor, especially the Christmas trees. My wife and I, staying 30 minutes away, decided to check out this pub after reading the great reviews. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with our experience. We ordered two cokes with our Sunday roast sharing platter, but had to remind the staff to bring them after waiting 10 minutes. The restaurant wasn't very busy, with only two tables of customers. Our food arrived shortly after we asked for plates, but the service was lacking. The young waitress seemed curt when we asked about the plates, and as our food got colder, the staff kept bumping into me as they walked past.
