A classic, creamy coleslaw with crisp cabbage and carrots, perfect as a refreshing side dish.

"We were there for the spare ribs buffet. In our memory there was a little more choice at the buffet this time there was only french fries (which were quite tasty), rolls and two salads. We said that there used to be baked potatoes, potato wedges and a gratin, as well as several salads to choose from? The spare ribs were again very delicious, the service was great and you can sit in a really nice place at the Barßeler Hafen"

"The Caipirinha was actually just ice cream. For 8.50 in unding. But I was taken to a Cola without charge. That was another big reaction. The food was very good, I had the Bud Spencer in the vegetarian version with vegan strips. ****!"

"very nice restaurant with friendly service and delicious, authentic eating. of the portions will really be fed to everyone! It would be nice if an at least small selection of matching cocktails would be available (for example margaritas)."

"This restaurant has a great American vibe with options like burgers, ribs, Miller or Corona beer, and more. As soon as we sat down and looked at the menu, we felt like we were in America. The food was absolutely authentic. We tried the honey chicken wings for €9.50, which had a lot of meat and were perfectly cooked. The portions are big, just like in America, so you may want to skip the appetizers. We also tried the Cajun onion burger for €13.80, which was perfect, and the baby back ribs for €19, which were delicious and easy to eat. The meal was topped off with a classic coleslaw salad and a Corona beer. Everything tasted just like in the US, but a bit pricier. This place is a taste of America right in Berlin at Potsdamer Platz."

"everywhere the crown inn, while it tries to find a pub that was served on late Sunday afternoon. we came to the bar at 15:10, ten minutes after they hadn't served their Sunday carvery anymore. before us were another group of 4 who had done exactly the same. our lateness was absolutely no problem for the personal, they quickly took our drink order and told us to go and get our carvery. also that was not a problem for the chef, he has served us with three good meat slices (beef, gammon turkey), none of these toby carvery dart thin carvings! After we got our meat, we then helped to a good selection of veg and there was enough of it. next to the veg there were yorkshire puddings and sausages when they wanted them. Finally there was a nice thick gravy and all the sauces they could ever want. When we came back to our table, all our drinks waited, so we were ready to dip into our Sunday dinner. the meal was excellent. everything meat was perfectly cooked and the whole sweet was also delicious. the workers were extremely polite and never rushed or hated us and they had not even asked us to create a register card when we ordered our meal; they simply set it up automatically. nice to have found a great, relaxed, friendly pub that serves an excellent Sunday dinner. in any case we are happy to go back; we're gonna be a little sooner next time!"

"During our stay in Hammersmith, Kerbisher and Malt was a must-visit for us due to its high ratings on Zomato and reputation for serving delicious and honest food. Located close to the Hammersmith tube station, the restaurant opens at noon so we had to return later to dine. The well-lit space had natural light coming in through large glass panels. We tried the fish buttie which turned out to be a British version of a sandwich with butter and crispy fish. The sausage buttie was also tasty with diced sausages. The calamari was well done, different from our past experiences in Goa. The baked beans and chips were enjoyable, with fresh, non-frozen chips being a standout. The pickled onion rings had a tangy twist. Overall, it was a good meal but nothing extraordinary. We look forward to trying their cod chips on our next visit."

"We ordered food from the carvery style cabinet at the front where you choose a main plus 2 sides. I was disappointed with the meal because it was barely warm and the meat was dry although it had a good taste. The parsnips were only half cooked and we had to return them and we're given another side dish. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4"

"We had a great experience at this restaurant! We went for dinner and it was fantastic. Even my husband, who is not vegan, wants to go back when we are in the area again. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They were knowledgeable about the menu and were able to accommodate my daughter's soy intolerance by offering a plain tomato pasta for her. We started with the hummus, adapted with less oil for my daughter, and it was delicious. For our main dishes, we had the crispy sprouts, vegetable gyoza small plates, and the 'lamb' ragu and pumpkin tortellini pastas, all of which were incredibly tasty. We also enjoyed dessert, with the apple dumpling and cookie dough blondie being fantastic. The atmosphere was lovely. I highly recommend this restaurant for its vegetarian options and vegan menu. It is also kid-friendly; we brought our 1.5 year old and they provided a highchair. The staff were friendly with her and accommodated her needs with the menu."

"Visited Saturday afternoon and I must say it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. We were greeted with warm friendly smiles from all the staff which immediately set the tone for a memorable afternoon. The food is outstanding with Chefs attention to detail and culinary expertise apparent in every aspect of out meal. 5 stars, highly recommended. Price per person: £60–70"
"We stayed here for the weekend, the room was clean and spacious, it had a lovely en-suite. The inn was centrally located to town. Rooms: We had room 2, the Inn is situated on a very busy cross roads, so if your warm and sleep with windows open... take some ear plugs as traffic starts early doors, but not a lot the Inn can do about the noise though! Walkability: its very close to town... only a few minutes walk to town centre Food drinks: The Inn does not serve food! Noteworthy details: Its room only, no cooked breakfast, they did leave us some 'Pot oats ' for the first morning though! Rooms: 3 Service: 3 Location: 4 Hotel highlights: Great value"

"Our friends invited us to join them for Sunday lunch and we weren't disappointed, our meals were delicious. We had the creamy garlic mushrooms to start, followed by the pork loin roast for me, which even had a lovely bit of crackling, and my husband...had the roast chicken. We both agreed that our meals were fab and the service was excellent! We will definitely be back for more of this lovely food in the future!"

"Let’s start with the good. Menu is good and our server was very nice. The rest was just awful. My wife ordered a salad with extra tomatoes. The salad shows up with 1/2 a spoonful of tomatoes. She also ordered broccoli as a side. It shows up cold. I ordered a French Dip sandwich. The prime rib was so undercooked it was disgusting. I asked for well done crispy fries. I received lukewarm undercooked fries. I ordered coleslaw. After mentioning that it didn’t come out with my meal, it comes 15 minutes later. We asked to speak with the manager. She gives us a $25 voucher for the next time (which is useless since we’re traveling and don’t have a location in our state). She also gives us a free piece of chocolate cake with ice cream. My wife asked to leave the ice cream off. The cake shows up with ice cream. The chocolate cake was some strange concoction that tasted like mush. This was certainly the worst restaurant that I’ve been to in 10 years. No exaggeration… just awful"

"This hotel is located in the centre of Melrose, an attractive small town in the borders. I stayed for a week on a fishing trip with friends. I had a single occupancy double room which was located next to public toilets on the first floor. The room was small but okay. The cleanliness of the hotel is poor. During the week my room was not serviced, other than a couple of cushions being rearranged on day two. The hotel bar was the scene of two big drinking events. Saturday's event went on past midnight with the noise keeping me awake. The hotel was renovated fairly recently and the rooms and public spaces are attractive. It's sad that it's badly managed and run. The room rate was poor value compared with nearby alternatives. Rooms: Avoid rooms 3 and 4. They are next to the public WCs on the first. When there is a big drinking session in the bar there is a lot of disturbance. Food drinks: The cooked part of breakfast was good but the choice of cereal and fruit was poor. The bar has good cask ales."

"Nice looking pub inside and out. We booked telephoned at 6:15pm) table for 4 7:30pm on a Saturday. What a shame we weren’t informed beforehand that HALF the mains were not available no steak, pies, burgers. They had not had a delivery of beef apparently. Only one of these options was replaced with an alternative making the short menu even more limited. Whilst we pondered what then to have to eat we ordered our drinks, Guinness please oh sorry no Guinness today either. Food was good quality and tasty, HOWEVER for the Pork belly £18) which was nice, the gravy/jus was practically nonexistent had to ask for more), no apple sauce served with it had to request it), 3 roast pots, 1 stick of sweet potato, cabbage was cold, 1 stick parsnip was still hard and undercooked. My son ordered the haddock and chips, just 7 of them! Desserts are also small and £8 each. This place can’t decide if it’s a pub or a restaurant. I’d say it’s a pub with a small limited menu regardless of the issue with the beef) and pub prices for some dishes but overpriced for others. Oh and they allow dogs in the restaurant not just the bar/pub area urgh. They clearly weren’t prepared for a busy Saturday service and as others were still coming in as we were leaving I can only assume they would have been equally disappointed."

"The White Horse of Eastbourne's menu shines with its array of delectable offerings, especially the chocolate brownie. This dessert is a symphony of textures and flavours, with a warm, molten centre encased in a delicate crust, accompanied by a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream. Each bite is a harmonious blend of the rich chocolate and the cool, sweet ice cream, creating a dessert experience that is both comforting and indulgent. It's clear that The White Horse of Eastbourne takes pride in their desserts, presenting them not just as a final course, but as a highlight of their culinary expertise."
