A classic, creamy coleslaw with crisp cabbage and carrots, perfect as a refreshing side dish.

"would have been five stars, but in order to reach the front of the waiting line and order our drinks, we would have to repeat the process because we were not sure what we wanted to eat. but once our food order has been taken, the service was fast. we may suggest management to make the menu even more available before the customers arrive at the theke). that is not wise a reflection about the personal we found were very polite and professional. eating was tasty and at a reasonable price. but Covid-19 were missing with a coworker only wiping around the menu missing big cocks of the table next to us) when clearing the used dishes. 3/4/22)"

"After some disasters in other “cafes” in the area that are unable to serve anything but service station nasty cheap white bread boring sandwiches we stopped eating in the 80’s don’t even get me going on the rarity of fresh salad in them (rant over) this little gem hits the nail right on the head- fresh bread, nice fillings excellently seasoned home cooked fayre...delicious soup and although I am yet to try their extensive selection of fresh cakes I’m sure these hit the nail right on the head. Well done, winning formula!!"

"During my visit to Leicester for a wedding, I stumbled upon Mrs Bridges Tearooms while searching for a breakfast spot on Happy Cow. Despite being quite hungry, my friends and I decided to give it a try after seeing the variety of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. The cafe/restaurant is quaint and may appear small, but it actually has a spacious courtyard in the back with outdoor seating. I opted for the full vegan breakfast and was pleasantly surprised to receive a generous portion of avocado instead of eggs. Although I can't recall if they offered vegan cakes or baked goods, I would definitely love to try them next time as they looked delicious. I highly recommend Mrs Bridges Tearooms for a delicious, affordable meal with a special treat at the end."

"Came in for a drink and something to eat and really enjoyed my time here. Came in around 5:30pm and was not too busy. Friendly and attentive staff, quick service, food was very tasty at 3 dishes for £15. I thought this to be a good deal! The drinks are with in the normal expectation and I enjoyed the draught cider! Id recommend this place for a place to meet up with friends or go on dates. Not to far from the tube station as well and ideal for a stop off to have a drink and a bite to eat. Really liked it here and will come again."

"Popular old fashioned Italian Cafe serving great coffee, cakes and Breakfasts. A must stop place when travelling from Edinburgh to Lancashire. Service great and quick even when busy so they are clearly experienced. Marble tables, checkered tiled floor, everything clean, food mostly homemade and nothing tacky or flash. Ariete means Ram, Moffat’s traditional symbol."

"On our short Welsh break we hadn’t left time enough to have a meal. It’s the kind of place that can do the freshest grilled mackerel or dressed crab which is landed just a few metres away. Our loss! We had time for a couple of cracking cappuccinos though and enjoyed the warm morning sun. Friendly staff and customers. Definitely going back next time."

"Visited as part of a large private party for a roast dinner. The food was average at best, we 've had much better elsewhere. The side veg was under cooked for our liking, the poor young girl serving was under great pressure, she was doing her best. Some guests asked for more roast potatoes and yorkshire puddings but these didn 't arrive. The chicken was very chewy, the pork wasn 't great either and the beef was very fatty and nearly all the guests left so hungry they had to buy fast food on their way home. I 'm posting a review because the lead guest has told me they were over charged by around £90 and they had visited to complain and request this be refunded, they were greeted by a very bad attitude from the guy behind the bar and he became quite verbally abusive which we feel is extremely bad. The customer is always right until proven otherwise. We were also told the bill was not itemised, which it should have been. The lead guests were told a service charge had been added on, this was not pre discussed or agreed prior to the event, and they were also told the childrens roast would be half price, but had been charged full price. When this was questioned during the conversation, the guy behind the bar said well did you expect it all for nothing? No they certainly did not and we didn 't take kindly to the maner in which he spoke to them. It was finally resolved with a refund being given of £72 so please be aware of this, should you be thinking of booking your own function at this place. We certainly would not return again."

"I really enjoyed my visit to this restaurant. I wanted to find out if any of their vegetarian options were vegan or could be made vegan, and the gentleman I spoke with was very friendly and helpful. He informed me that both the burger and the korma were vegan, and that the veggie haggis could also be prepared as a vegan dish. Additionally, they had vegan sausages available to include in a meal. I decided to go with the veggie haggis, which came served with a side of greens and new potatoes, although they also offered me chips as an alternative."

"farm too table, so menu is seasonal and often changed. the lunch menu had limited options, but enough variety. I had a fried chicken pack that was made memorable by the addition of cal, fresh cherry tomato and basilikum mayo in exactly the right proportions. the fried chicken pieces were clearly not from a box or bag, but fresh, crispy and juicy. just delicious. my beans and mais, which were sewn in basilikum, were also unusual, fresh and exactly boiled. my gastronomic partner has moved over her reuben (recommended by server). a fruit crumb served a la mode for the finish was perfect. service was excellent until the end when my friend and I chat and drink after bottling were no longer offered perhaps an inconspicuous attempt to leave us. in our section there have been many empty tabs, but the shift of our servers may have ended. if yes, I prefer direct communication to be ignored. otherwise perfect service. the prices are exceptionally good for quality and taste of food. hours are irregular, so they visit the website before. I know I'm back and my friend talked about bringing her people to dinner. in any case it is worth checking. limited seating in the free, also in the inner."

"Fancying a break from cooking my wife and I decided to get a get a takeaway and having had B&K In Edgware recommended by friends we decided to give it a go. Delivery to Finchley was only possible if we spent beyond a certain amount...and we reached that by ordering a enough for a few meals/ a largenumber of items. The food was really excellent great quality and large portions . We started with chicken soup and kneidlach and followed this with salt beef and latkes with cucumber and slaw and lockshen pudding and strudel. We also ordered fried fish and fish balls so that we had enough food to last us for a few days. There was not one dud item amongst all that food. The salt beef was moist and not overly-salty, the latkes free of grease (the usual problem with them when they are not home made) and the desserts were delicious. Next day we had the fried fish and Cole slaw again excellent and full size portions. We still have half of the salt beef and the fish balls to eat on another day. Lovely food and, as I said, lots of it. I must not forget the service which was friendly and helpful (as was their delivery) and made the whole experience a top quality one. We will be back at B&K for more food very soon."

"I visited for late lunch. It was though they didn’t want the business. No greeting just blurted out, no hot food. I Asked for a sandwich. Nope couldn’t do that either only coffee and cake. A Scone? Yes. Great. Unfortunately it arrived cold, yesterdays bake , hard and crusty butter tasted as though it was past its sell by date too . The original lady that owned Angel Cafe was brilliant. Tables fully wiped and clean. A warm welcome and appreciated the business. Excellent quality food . Current owner please note .. lack of customer service, grubby half wiped tables, stale scones. No I definitely won’t be returning .."

"This place occupies a site on the corner of the square on the main road through it, from the outside it doesnt look much but go inside and a veritable aladdins cave of pies and snacks of all descriptions and they are top of the class for taste and flavour besides being reasonably priced. We stayed in the area for a week and most days filled up here. The Steak Mince, Mince and Onions plus Pork Pies all went down a treat and they have a selection of cold meats and some take away snacks and meals. Not to be missed but word of caution, maybe not for slimmers !!!!!"

"I went to Five Boroughs with my partner for a late dinner last night. there was a guy there who had clearly taken far too many drugs, he passed out in the restaurant and was not breathing. My partner and a former emergency nurse, who was also in the restaurant, went to him, checked his pulse and immediately started giving him cpr. when he regained consciousness, she kept him in the recovery position to help regain blood pressure while my partner called an ambulance. His friend got him up and tried to get him out of the restaurant, the guy was barely standing and kept passing out over our table on his way out the door. The nurse was trying to get him back on the ground in the recovery position, but the restaurant owner was shooing them out of the restaurant saying, he 's fine, he just needs some fresh air. They left the restaurant and I saw him pass out on the other side of the road again, his mate hauled him up and kept moving. The owner had a massive go at my partner and the nurse for trying to do first aid and make sure he was safe in the restaurant."

"A very lovely 18th-century Methodist church converted into a great cafe. With local history within. It also has an old working organ for the pianist who wishes to have a blast while there I had a Latte and Gazillionaire slice, both delicious. The staff were so friendly and helpful, recommended stop off!"

"the cafe 119 began to improve well since the beginning of the year, from 1 hour waiting times for 1 coffee and 1 small meal and tables that were never cleaned or cleaned. I have avoided this place for one because you look at it by looking past or thinking about the return and knowing if the food was great, the service was painful. Unfortunately, today seems to have been either another bad day or just typical café 119 service. we ordered 2 coffees and 2 sausage balls, we knew what we wanted to run there. during the order I was offered white or brown what I thought was strange for a baptism, and had to wait while the person who served me to check with the kitchen. my order was not read back to me before the payment. we were served 2 bacon sandwiches on brown brot, I simply asked the bar if our order had been mixed or changed. I said they fled from sausages and thought I had said speck. I guess that was what had to be checked in the kitchen when I looked stupid enough to get away with the serving of speck because they had no sausages cooked and didn't want to tell me from any reason. I felt like it was somehow my fault through the rude and flustered manager. definitiw ivy kitchen or costa from now on. also the wetherspoon around the corner has much better service. again disappointed."

"This is a cute little eatery, tucked away from the King's Road, but most definitely a Chelsea baby. It's a glamorous pub with an outdoor seating area for the brave smokers, a backroom for diners, and an upstairs for parties or those after privacy. The ambience is fairly relaxed; a pub-style setting with several tables around the bar, and the dining areas tucked away from immediate view. It's a very versatile location, ideal for those dates which can be drinks and nibbles, or even spill over into a three course meal.Pick from a range of beers, some interesting cocktail inventions, or just go straight for the fizzy; I was pleasantly surprised to see Mumm, a champagne I find to be relatively...read more"

"So sad to find only 4 tables occupied for dinner on a Saturday night. This place deserves support. The food was great, and staff really lovely who provided excellent service. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Wheel. Keep up the good work guys. My only tiny negative feedback would be that our halloumi starter was too big (for some that might not even be a negative! and the side salad with the burger was lacking a little bit of variety."

"Enjoyed the food here so much, we visited twice on our week in Norfolk. They have an entire menu dedicated to vegan food, I found it difficult to choose! Lovely setting, and dog friendly too. The first time I had the Bac'n, Brie Caramelised onion panini which came with salad, slaw crisps. The second time I had to try the Beyond Burger, which came with chips, salad, onion rings slaw... both were really tasty great portions. They also have icecreams for sell, and had the vegan magnums."
