A classic, creamy coleslaw with crisp cabbage and carrots, perfect as a refreshing side dish.

"We only had an hour and half in this quaint town, so we started our search for a lunch spot. We were welcomed by the staff, and the delicious smells told us we made the right choice. You place your order at the counter, and then your food is delivered to you at a table. They have a very brisk take out too, and the locals seemed to be their regulars, so that is always a good sign. We enjoyed the best quiche combo lunch, it came with coleslaw, a green, salad and some chips. It was delicious, the crust on the quiche was so good. Their wifi was a nice surprise too. They had such a wonderful menu that it was hard to decide, we saw so many great things come out of their kitchen. It is a quaint place with lots of character. I wish I didn't live so far away, this place was memorable."

"Came in for a drink and something to eat and really enjoyed my time here. Came in around 5:30pm and was not too busy. Friendly and attentive staff, quick service, food was very tasty at 3 dishes for £15. I thought this to be a good deal! The drinks are with in the normal expectation and I enjoyed the draught cider! Id recommend this place for a place to meet up with friends or go on dates. Not to far from the tube station as well and ideal for a stop off to have a drink and a bite to eat. Really liked it here and will come again."

"Two young people were a pleasure to meet when we stopped off for a stroll on the harbour. Excellent, friendly and professional service all with a smile. Provided a couple of sausages for our dog and our crab sandwiches were delicious in chunky fresh wholemeal bread. Lovely coleslaw served too. Compared to other sandwiches we have eaten these were"

"Popular old fashioned Italian Cafe serving great coffee, cakes and Breakfasts. A must stop place when travelling from Edinburgh to Lancashire. Service great and quick even when busy so they are clearly experienced. Marble tables, checkered tiled floor, everything clean, food mostly homemade and nothing tacky or flash. Ariete means Ram, Moffat’s traditional symbol."

"After 2 years of being in Oxford, I finally decided to give the King's Arms (Wheatley) a try. I went in and was given a very warm welcome! The barkeep was very friendly and made sure everything was ok, etc. An absolute A+ for service in my books.I ordered the sausage and mash and chicken wings, quite pricey in my opinion. Came to a grand total of 20 quid! Thank god I didn't get a pint with it!To be critical (and hence why it's only 4 stars), the chicken wings were hard and not tender at all. They were also misadvertised as garlic and chili wings to my surprise, when they came out, they were just plain chicken wings drizzled in sweet chili sauce. This slightly ticked me off since I was expecting the Chinese takeaway style of finely chopped garlic and raw chili, deep fried in batter. However, the sausage and mash was extremely nice! I'd highly recommend that. I'd definitely return here afrer a long study session to relax and chat to the locals (who are very friendly!)Overall a great pub with a lovely cozy vibe to it! Please visit it!"

"I 'm not sure I 've ever experienced anything this bad; seriously! The landlord has got to be the most unwelcoming and rude person I have ever encountered in my 39 years on this earth. The door was open; it was 10pm and we entered for a drink to end a lovely evening in Newtonmore. I approached the bar to order a drink as my partner sat at a free table. We were screamed at and told we weren 't hotel guests, we hadn 't booked a table and in no uncertain terms weren 't welcome for a drink in a largely empty bar on this basis. We were literally chased from the establishment by the man claiming to own this 'hell hole ' he followed us out on to the street shouting. I am amazed he has any customers at all based on our experience. I would avoid this place at all costs! The bad reviews I 've just read on tripadvisor ring true; this company don 't deserve a penny of your hard earned money. Hospitality! A word the 'hotelier ' should research... and find a different vocation most certainly : S"

"farm too table, so menu is seasonal and often changed. the lunch menu had limited options, but enough variety. I had a fried chicken pack that was made memorable by the addition of cal, fresh cherry tomato and basilikum mayo in exactly the right proportions. the fried chicken pieces were clearly not from a box or bag, but fresh, crispy and juicy. just delicious. my beans and mais, which were sewn in basilikum, were also unusual, fresh and exactly boiled. my gastronomic partner has moved over her reuben (recommended by server). a fruit crumb served a la mode for the finish was perfect. service was excellent until the end when my friend and I chat and drink after bottling were no longer offered perhaps an inconspicuous attempt to leave us. in our section there have been many empty tabs, but the shift of our servers may have ended. if yes, I prefer direct communication to be ignored. otherwise perfect service. the prices are exceptionally good for quality and taste of food. hours are irregular, so they visit the website before. I know I'm back and my friend talked about bringing her people to dinner. in any case it is worth checking. limited seating in the free, also in the inner."

"Lovely old tradition pub with a proper fire!! Stopped off on our way home from Whitby and both had Steak Ale pie and chips. The pie was amazing, nice beefy steak and ale gravy under a flaky pastry crust. And big fat crispy homemade chips...perfect. We were served by a lovely polite young waitress, who came back halfway through our meal to check everything was OK. We hadn't booked a table, and it was busy but they were able to fit us in. They allow motorhomes over night and it's in a great area for walks. Dog friendly in the bar area. We will definitely go back Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot"

"Yesterday, I enjoyed the best Salt Beef sandwich of my life at B&K in Edgware, London. The sandwich was served on Rye bread with pickle and mustard, and there was a Latke hidden on the side. I have been coming to this restaurant since 1996, and I can confidently say that sandwiches from other shops around London do not even come close in comparison. Overall, a delightful dining experience."

"I initially gave this charming old pub a glowing review, but after my partner and I visited about three weeks ago, my opinion has changed. We were looking forward to a great meal, but my partner's eggs royale on a muffin was inedible; the muffin was hard and stale, and the hollandaise sauce was unpleasant and hard to describe. My Chicken Satay skewers were also disappointing; the chicken was overcooked and tough, and the peanut sauce lacked flavor. We really enjoy our food, but we couldn't bring ourselves to eat what was served to us. It was particularly disheartening because we had previously had a good experience there. We learned that the original staff had left and the place was now run by new people, including a new chef. After voicing our concerns, we were only charged for one starter and two drinks. Given our latest experience, we cannot recommend this place, as you would likely be disappointed unless they improve their standards. We couldn't help but notice the nearly empty parking lot during lunch, and now we understand why. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1"

"We stopped for lunch during the CubaDupa weekend. I ordered the cheeseburger and my lunch partner ordered the chicken wings (5 of them . The burger was very good. The service was very friendly (nearly to familiar . Water was served promptly and the beer I ordered also arrived very quickly. Given the amount of people, the burger and chicken wings arrived in good time. (we were not in a hurry and were able to sit outside where is was quieter. The chicken wings were slightly under cooked and I found the sauce a bit to spicy. (I had 1 as 5 were to many for my companion. between 3 to 4 is a large serving. . We were uphold a basket of fries. These were quit pricey and too salty. (I also overheard another table commenting on how salty the fries were. Our total bill came to $56 (cheeseburger, fries, 5 chicken wings, a lemonade, a beer . The coffee I ordered did not turn up. I will go back to try the coffee. (bottomless cup ."

"I've seen this shop a few times when in Richmond, but never had the opportunity to go in. This time I am very glad I did. There is a large selection of quiche. I bought different types cold and took them home. I loved...all but one, but that was personal taste thing, the missues loved all four. They put the usual supermarket stuff to shame. They freeze well too. The scotch eggs were a delight too, we managed to get through them all on the way home oops! Close to me there is a company selling scotch eggs for a fiver a piece, these are just as good and a range which the shop should consider expanding!"

"I visited this restaurant last year and it was excellent. I was unaware that it had changed ownership because the new owners do not have access to the website. The food we had was very nice, but I was disappointed to see that the breakfast menu was limited to only bacon, sausage, or egg rolls (or a combination of these). The gift shop is also no longer there, which made the atmosphere feel a bit lacking. The new owners were very nice, and I wish them the best of luck. I will post the current menu for reference."

"The restaurant offers a wide selection of tables and comfortable seating options. It is surprisingly spacious inside, reminiscent of the TARDIS. The food is excellent, particularly enjoyed the perfectly prepared eggs royale. Service may not be very fast, but the food is freshly cooked to order which is worth the wait. It is a wonderful spot to gather with friends. There is a car park available outside the cafe for easy parking. Overall, the dining experience was rated at 5 for food, 4 for service, and 4 for atmosphere. Plenty of parking options are available, with a free parking lot nearby. The average price per person for brunch is around £20-30."

"The restaurant has a nice and cozy atmosphere. The service was friendly, however, when we ordered coffees they were all left on the table without any indication of whose was whose. I was disappointed with my brunch waffles topped with fried chicken as I thought they were homemade, but they turned out to be store-bought waffles with sugar inside, making them dry. The addition of maple syrup made the dish overly sweet. If the waffles were homemade without the crunchy sugar, I believe they would have been perfect."
"I visited this restaurant twice during my recent trip to Old Hunstanton and was very impressed with the variety of options. I tried the vegan "bacon and brie" panini first and it was delicious. Then I had the vegan chicken nuggets and chips, which were also very tasty and came in generous portions. The ice cream stand outside offers three different vegan ice cream flavors, but make sure to get a tub as the cones are not vegan. I wasn't informed of this during my first order, so I accidentally ate it in a cone. However, this wasn't a major issue for me and I enjoyed a tub of ice cream on my second visit. Overall, a delicious experience."

"I took a couple of people for lunch today, and we had a great time. Prices (apart from for beer which was a bit high) were on par with other local pubs, but the quality of food was much higher. Lovely service, excellent bouillabaisse (although when I used to live in Marseille it always came with boiled potatoes cooked in the stock which help break up the richness, maybe that’s not done now) and very good desserts too. My friends loved their beef cheek pies, and we went on happy. Nice restoration, the strap line is ‘club like’ now, I’m a member of a few clubs and really this is ‘pub like’, but I guess it’s marketing, and whatever, it’s not been turned into ten tiny flats, so call it what you want haha"

"We came here, as we often do, for lunch! The portions are generous and so inexpensive! There were no crisps on our plates this time, so my daughter asked the barista for some, and hey presto they arrived in two little dishes at no extra cost! We are always thrilled to come here, for the food, the ambience, the wonderful surroundings!"
