"I don't usually leave any reviews, but this place was so wonderful that I just had to. the service was absolutely phenomenal. the 2 ladies were so friendly, polite and helpful. the drinks were amazing and there was a lot of drink in the cocktails against other restaurants where they serve in tiny tassen. the food was so delicious (we had the mixed shaders) and the churros were the best we ever had. we couldn't believe how good the price level was. the atmosphere was amazing and we had such a relaxed, fantastic night. this is one of the best restaurants I have visited and we will definitely be back."

"wow, what a jewel! my wife and I ate on Sunday afternoon on this “plum” of a restaurant. I was amazed to have studied the menu before booking to see that a very large of the dishes in the offer shown free as gluten, something that has now paramount recently been diagnosed with celiac disease. there was a free dish served by popcorn, which had been aromatized with its own wobble the flavor of the restaurant, which was a real tastener. we followed with the curry goat, which served as a generous part, reisbäsen, a part curry goat gravy, jerk ripen, plantain, homemade coleslaw, and fries, who had blown the same twist of hurdles as the popcorn on them. we also chose some of the immersing sauces to give an additional hauch of choking only for the case. we have the idea of ordering also a plastered steak (they know how it is when they are really hungry), but were recommended against this by the dame who advised our order that the portions were quite generous and we had ordered a lot, and moreover we could always add to the order when our food had arrived. we also ordered a bottle of pino grigio to ash it al down. What do you want me to say? this was by far the best tasting and well cooked and served Caribbean cuisine that we have experienced, it was exceptional. we had no place for a pudding, but there was a lot to choose on the menu. When the bill came, we were thrilled and amazed that it all came around 60, which also excellent price-performance ratio. we will definitely be back, I recommend this jewel. enjoys!"

"Whilst in the capital for the fringe, my friend i decided on having some chinese food for lunch..Wish we hadnt!! Came across The Golden Dragon, looked lovely from the outside, very dated inside...Not a great selection on the menu the daily specials board, seems to have been the same daily specials for quite some time, going by some of the photos posted by previous diners... we decided on chicken satay fried rice, sweet n sour chicken boiled rice, portion of prawn crackers, we didnt have any starters, 1 diet coke 1 small glass of water... the food wasnt that great to be honest for the extortionate cost, the satay was tasteless chicken was quite rubbery.. The rice arrived in small silver dishes, was actually very stodgy, like it had been over boiled... we ate what we ate asked for the bill.... £53!!!! the rice wasnt included in the cost of the chicken dishes, seriously must be the dearest rice in scotland, there was literally 3 spoonfuls in each silver pot!! 3 young lads at next table all had rice dishes, no starters a portion of curry sauce chips, also a beer each, they're bill was over £90!!! Certainly wont be rushing back to Golden Dragon next time i'm in Edinburgh!!"

"What a great find on Google search. From the moment we arrived the staff were welcoming and attentive. Lovely decor and ambience although small. It was our anniversary and the staff went out of their way so that we had a romantic setting. The steam fish and veg delicious and the oxtail, rice and plantain scrumptious. "this is a great place Thai restaurant that we unfortunately do not visit as much as we want. it has been an established part of my hometown hornchurch and serves fantastic Thai cuisine for many years. I am now glad to say that on Saturday we had a opportunity to visit and again eating was full of all the aromes they expect from this style of food. on Saturday we have walked on our fifteen minute walk to the heart of the city where they find the restaurant. we entered and received the usual friendly reception before we took our places. While we looked at the menu, we ordered a beautiful bottle of maison bergon 2020 a delightful French sauvignon blanc, full of citrus fruits, apple and lemongras aromas. unusual for us we decided to choose a set menu. we chose the Bangkok menu with an additional Thai salad. this started with the prawn crackers and sweet chili diving sauce. the starter was a plate consisting of chickensatai, spring rolls, huh on toast, chicken strips prawn tempura, which was all fresh, hot and full of fabulous thai aromen. we followed this with our additional plate of the yum nuar a fabulous spicy salate of cut grilled sirloin, swirl, early swirl, coriander, lemon juice, fish sauce chili flock, which I would definitely recommend. we now went to the main courses that would be with ingwer in black bohnensoße, chicken green curry, sweet with egg noodles. thai jasmin reis. the aromen and choir again complicated themselves perfectly and made every dish absolutely delicious. to finish they can have either tee, coffee or a few pots vanilla ice cream. this brought our charming Thai lunch to the end, and we hope to do again in the near future. I would highly recommend a visit here as eating is fantastic and there is always a good friendly service. also it is a long established part of our community and should be supported. many thanks for our fabulous lunch and look forward to seeing them all again soon."
