"As a Trinidadian man, I decided to try this restaurant based on the reviews I read online that claimed it was the best. However, I was extremely disappointed with the food. Nothing was cooked properly - the plantain was undercooked, the roti had large chunks of potato, and the macaroni did not taste anything like authentic island cuisine. The jerk chicken wings were drenched in sauce and lacked proper cooking, and the roti and doubles were soggy and hard in places. Additionally, the doubles had unnecessary fillings added. The pie had an unusual combination of peppers and hard cheese. I was very dissatisfied with my £50 meal, and I would rate it a 1 out of 10."

I finally found mine to eat when in Westfield. beautiful people and a great service. if they make it wrong, they go out of the way to get it right! the best place in the food dish turns off. baked fishplantain rice and harvest! the 20 minutes wait!

The jerk chicken at this restaurant is fantastic! The meat is tender all the way to the bone, and the sauce is delicious. It's not too spicy, but could have been hotter for my liking. The portion of rice and peas was quite generous, served in a massive bowl. View menu

This is such a hidden gem in london. It is quite hard to find food that is this delicious and affordable. The entire vibe of the restaurant is great and the staff are super friendly. Thank you so much to Xav who looked after us whilst we were there and made the birthday meal for our friend extra memorable. We will be back and can't wait to try the rest of the menu.

The staff and customer service is absolutely amazing, from the time we walked in till the time we left the ladies at Walthamstow were so lovely. The food and the portions are so good, I had to bring some home, I definitely enjoyed myself and so did my friends. I would definitely recommend this restaurant the food is authentic and tastes just like it would in Jamaica
