"I was recently in keynsham at a visit in bath. I was close and asked for a recommendation for eating somewhere. as fan of Italian eating was made a booking for me at laviano. I received a warm greeting at the arrival. I found the whole staff very attentive and nothing was too much annoyed. I decided to start something broth. I counted 8 slices of 8 different and delicious broths with balsamikum and olive oil they are a favorite of me. I wanted to try a few dishes, I went for two appetizers instead of a pornstar. I had a grilled dish and meatballs in a tomato sauce. I am very fussy about meat, but was sure it was 100% bark. the meatballs were beautifully well seasoned with a good Italian tomato sauce and whispers of parmesan. I was too full to try something else, but had a good meal good wein excellent service in a very intelligent contemporary environment."

"Staff were very friendly and helpful. Acoustics made it sound loud inside especially with kid's being kid's. The pizza's are very tasty and maybe on the expensive side. "Have walked past this restaurant a few times, and tonight we finally popped in for a bite to eat after work. The entrance is a bit hidden away from the main road, but easy to find and accessibility doesn't appear to be an issue. The restaurant is painted quite darkly, but with the glorious evening light flooding in it felt light and airy. High ceilings with interesting light fittings. We were shown to our table and were sat directly by the River Avon as it ambled its way through Bradford. We ordered deep fried mozzarella and the breaded mushrooms, both of which were superb nothing like the pub versions you might think of. Mains were a couple of pizzas. I went for the Milanese goats cheese, onion chutney and rocket whilst the hubbie went for the Pescatore prawns, anchovies, clams tuna. Both were flavourful and bright. My only tiny downside is that they felt a little floppy another couple of minutes in the oven. I'm being really picky as we devoured both of them with vigour! Dessert was a tiramisu for him and a brownie for me. Both were excellent. I will definitely be returning in the near future, if you are looking for somewhere to eat in Bradford on Avon then this place is well worth a try. They also have an outdoor area, which I didn't feel like braving! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"A wonderful Italian restaurant. The interior design is very nice and modern. I came here with family and they enjoyed it. The food is phenomenal. I had the Eliana pizza. It has large slices of ham. It wasn't too big nor too small. Very filling. After that, for dessert I tried the Italian Cheese cake. It was very sweet and it comes with some cream. Delicious. For drinks, all I had was water, and then pineapple juice which was nice. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. There were lots of Birthdays here tonight, giving us a party-like atmosphere. The music was quite loud but I guess it's expected in big restaurants like this. The place was well organised. It was nice to see the manager making sure everything runs smoothly. Overall I had a great time here. I recommend. ^ ^"

"Seemed a little overpriced for what you actually got, somewhat small portions, although very tasty food, a shame, as it wasn't very hot either, served on cold plates and had slightly undercooked ravioli pasta. Basic meal had no vegetables and sides were extra. The starter also had frozen sun dried tomatoes but that was rectified. No time to complain further as we were on a schedule and could not have waited any longer. Restaurant was quite busy but not packed. Pizzas looked better. Without a discount voucher (which are usually readily available) the food seemed relatively expensive. Somewhat disappointed to be honest as other restaurants in the chain have been better. Would go again though. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4"

"Been coming here for years and never disappoints. Came here with some friends for dinner and we ordered a Vegetarian Pizza, a Ravioli and a Penne Piccante. The portion sizes were good except for the Ravioli. I found this a little odd as the portions are usually quite generous to the point where I can only manage a 2 course. Nevertheless, everybody enjoyed their meal and I found the pizza especially nice, the mushrooms were particularly aromatic with a lovely earthy smell. The mozzarella nice and stringy. The base freshly made, cooked well enough to be firm, but still soft and fluffy. As always the staff are friendly and helpful."

"We 'd heard food was good at this tapas bar, so walked through the unlit alleyway to the restaurant which was empty apart from one young family (wearing their coats and the mother had a woolly hat on . So we asked the young waiter if he could put some heating on. Turned out he was new and knew nothing. He told us the boss would be arriving in 45 minutes and then carried on talking to his friend. We requested the wifi password (he didn 't know it . We ordered two glasses of rioja. I asked the female chef was boquerones were and she told me potatoes (they are, of course, anchovies! . Basically the staff were absolutely clueless and had no training, so had no idea how to welcome us or make us feel welcome. We asked for padron peppers they had none. So we told the waiter we were leaving his response? OK guys . No wonder this restaurant was empty. Went across the road to red.h restaurant which was warm, welcoming, great food."

"The staff at this restaurant were extremely inattentive. It seemed like they were under a lot of pressure and very busy, or perhaps they just had terrible memory. Either way, they should consider hiring more wait staff. When we made a reservation, we were informed that we had to leave after 2 hours, as that is their policy. We barely made their deadline, as there was a mix-up with the bill - we were charged for something we didn't order. Despite requesting water at the start of our meal, it never arrived. Our food took 45 minutes to come out, and plates of food for other diners sat waiting to be served for over 10 minutes. It was a struggle to get the attention of the staff for more drinks. After expressing our concerns about the £9.50 optional service charge, the lack of water service, and being wrongly charged, a kind manager decided to comp our drinks, saving us around £30. While we appreciated the gesture, we still found the overall experience disappointing - we won't be returning. The service was poor, the prices too high, the waits too long, and the portions too small."

"I really don't understand why there are 1 and 2 star reviews, because since prezzo they have opened brilliant/oben notch service and eat. there were no toothing problems when they first opened and they are consistent. we would expect to pay much more than we have for eating / service and looking at the inner, the restaurant is very well presented. the staff is polite and very friendly. I like how prezzo fits for a special occasion or a casual eating, it has surpassed our expectations and have visited more and more my partner and me or friends. it is the hand-down of our 'go to ' restaurant / meal. the personal even says hello / smile when they pass them on the road! thank you, prezzo!"

"Very enjoyable meal, a complemetary flavour packed bruscetta. Fresh calamari slightly over done for my liking) to start, lovely garlic mayo, my friend had fresh swordfish, lovely with salad could have been more interesting than simple lettuce and tomato). Pasta with swordfish and aubergine delicious, different ,really tasty. Delightful italian sweet- sorry cannot recall proper name. Crispy little chocolate shells filled with an almond cream coated with almonds and icing sugar. 3-4 other tables in use- light and airy. prosecco rather overpriced at £27 but much enjoyed."

"Having read the extremely negative reviews before eating at the restaurant I was concerned it wouldn’t be up to much but am very pleased to say it was excellent. The fried zucchini we shared for aperitivo was crisp and delicious and went very well with the chilled Prosecco. We had a plate of pasta and pizzas to eat and all was very good al dente and Picante, respectively. We were recommended the chianti (excellent) and ordered a Trebbiano which was equally good. Just off the market, this place is small and welcoming well worth a visit!"
"100% would recommend this restaurant. They quickly made space for the 4 of us and the atmosphere was amazing with a cosy vibe, very friendly waiting staff too. I had the risotto with courgettes, peas, spinach and broccoli which was incredible, wish I lived closer to go back regularly! I also had the king prawns as a shared between the table which were amazing as well. The rest of the order included two pizzas, tagliatelle bolognaise, olives and cheese garlic bread. All of us said how much we loved the food and we will come back when we next visit London!"

"Dinner last night. Food was excellent. The four young table staff were very good...smiling, friendly and professional. In general, we really enjoyed it. So why am I only giving it 3 out of 5 ? The 5th member of staff, was much older, grey hair and glasses and was possibly the head waiter. Not once did he smile, nor give anyone eye contact. When we arrived and spoke to him, he seemed to just grunt, and told a waiter to take us to our table. Really not welcoming. The only word he said to us was ...finished, as he took our plates away, but didn't smile or ask if the food was OK. Twice he chastised a member of staff in front of diners..not good. Gave the impression that he didn't want to be there. No one is to old to be retrained"

"We went here for a pre-theatre meal. We had told them at booking that one of our party was allergic to eggs and they did provide an allergen menu (paper and food stained). The food was served as though it was a favour and we...had to ask several times for our drinks. The food was ok but all the sauces were very watery and therefore it was like having pasta with a small amount of soup at the bottom of the bowl. When we had finished our dessert we were asked if we wanted anything else and we said no. We had just ordered drinks prior to this so they were mostly full. Within a minute the bill was “thrown” on the table without a single word. As we were just discussing the fact we hadn’t asked for the bill yet a member of staff turned up holding a card machine. Again she didn’t say anything. We wanted to split the bill and when we asked about this she disappeared and then came back with the split. The only time she actually spoke to us was when one of our party tried to pay by Amex. A direct quote “Use another card”. By this stage we just wanted out so we left. Definitely will not be back and has put us off going to any of the restaurants."

"Have always tried to go to this family run Italian restaurant when I visit London unfortunately, a pandemic got in the way. Delighted to return this evening to find the food as good as ever. If you are looking for an independent, family run place in King 's Cross (whether staying over in the area or waiting for that delayed train) try this place out. Excellent food, excellent service. There are plenty of 'chain ' restaurants around King 's Cross, but there are several good independents Casa Mamma being a very good example. In fact, the food was so good this evening I shall have to do my impression of a boa constrictor and have a long lie down! Don 't just take my word for it, check out the menu on the website."
"I have reviewed this restaurant in the past, but after a wonderful meal last night, I am reviewing it again. Typically, I go with my entire family, but yesterday, I went with my husband to celebrate his birthday. We both had the best burgers (he had beef, I had chicken) with delicious truffle oil fries that we can't stop thinking about! We also enjoyed the fried mozzarella, prawn, and gnocchi starters. Our server was very friendly and helpful, the drinks were cold, the atmosphere was lively (especially for a Tuesday evening), and the service was efficient. I definitely plan on returning soon. I have a taste card, so I can take advantage of the 2-for-1 offer during the week, but I am also willing to pay full price for a weekend meal here. While looking into some of the negative reviews, it seems that many of them were from around September/October 2021, possibly due to staffing issues. I would recommend giving this restaurant a chance if you haven't been before."

"Our family of four adults and three children dined at this restaurant and the kids absolutely loved it. They are already asking to go back. We are debating whether to take advantage of the Eat Out to Help Out promotion or go on a Saturday night. Our visit was definitely worth it - the food was delicious, the service was great, and the host was very accommodating."

"Amazing food! Definitely worth a visit. We was looking for a nice Italian restaurant in the Huddersfield area and was able to find this one online. I was pleasantly surprised when finding this hidden gem. 10/10 would and will be visiting again. My only recommendation would be adding another vegetarian option to the menu but either way I was very happy with my food. Price per person: £50–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Reservation: Reservations recommended Special events: No special event Seating type: Indoor dining area"
"We shared a calamari starter, which was a bit oily and had too many crumbs, with a strange plastic taste. The kids loved the mozzarella bites, but weren't too keen on the vegetable sticks. For our main courses, we ordered a margherita royale pizza, which had a tasty dough and was well-presented. My wife had penne with salmon, which was well-mixed and had plenty of flaky salmon pieces with a good level of spiciness. The kids had spaghetti and meatballs, which were large and delicious. For dessert, we had tiramisu, which was very tasty and beautifully presented. The standout dish of the night was definitely the pizza - it was worth raving about!"
