"We shared a calamari starter, which was a bit oily and had too many crumbs, with a strange plastic taste. The kids loved the mozzarella bites, but weren't too keen on the vegetable sticks. For our main courses, we ordered a margherita royale pizza, which had a tasty dough and was well-presented. My wife had penne with salmon, which was well-mixed and had plenty of flaky salmon pieces with a good level of spiciness. The kids had spaghetti and meatballs, which were large and delicious. For dessert, we had tiramisu, which was very tasty and beautifully presented. The standout dish of the night was definitely the pizza - it was worth raving about!"

"Sunday lunch was exactly as you would expect from a good gastropub. Portion sizes were on the large side so no need for starters. We sat outside and unfortunately got soaked when the wind shook the canopy and all the water it had collected onto us and our food. They did move us but whilst they apologised I felt either a free drink or dessert would have softened the blow of getting drenched!"

"It was my second visit with family to this restaurant this year. Although the first visit was ok apart from the really slow service, it 's a convenient location and the kids seemed to like it so thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt. The waitress was helpful and promptly took our order but unfortunately the the food took ages to come, about 40mins. In that time and as frustrations grew, I noticed the overall condition of the place, its starting to look a bit tired in there, and it was really dirty. There was food on a chair on arrival and trim missing from the table which was a sticky mess. Having finished my drink I noticed how dirty the glass was, cloudy with grease and remnants of lemon welded to the rim (there was none in my soft drink). A visit to the WC with my son confirmed that was filthy too, the floor needed a proper mopping and the tap fixing. When the food finally arrived, I was massively underwhelmed. £18.50 for the Chimichanga that I was presented with was disgraceful. There was no photo on the menu and I have since googled it, and even considering the dressed photos online, I fail to see how that is worth £18.50. My portion was half the size of the photos and looked beige and bland. I returned the plate which was accepted (I have never returned food before, indeed this is my first review on here), fortunately I had a side of fries. My wife had the tex mex salad, which was also pretty uninspiring but cost significantly less. I have been to other TGI 's over the years which were great with fond memories, but I 'm afraid I wont be returning. My advice would be to choose one of the other restaurants a couple of minutes walk away."
"I had an early pre-cinema dinner at this restaurant, which was very convenient being located in the same Brewery precinct as Cineworld. I made a reservation and we were given the option to choose our table, so we chose one by the window. Our order was taken quickly and our drinks arrived within 5 minutes - the lemonade and Poretti beer were both cold and refreshing. The dip for the Crispy Fried Mozzarella tasted a bit like Heinz, but the cheese itself was cooked well. The pestonnaise dip for the Calamari was a nice touch and worked well with the dish. The Seabass was good, although a bit overcooked for my liking, but the vegetables and side salad were tasty. The Goat cheese and pepper pizza had a good base and was enjoyed by all. We finished our meal in less than an hour, which was perfect for our cinema schedule."

"Very underwhelming experience. We were staying at Galgorm for a special occasion (shepards hut) which is fab! Having read reviews about the restaurants on site it was a hard choice as they both sounded lovely but being Italian cuisine lovers we opted for Fratelli. I booked a table well in advance of our arrival but upon entering the restaurant we were greeted with a grunt and told to wait at the side until they ‘found’ our booking. We waited for a few moments and then were shown to our table which was situated in a corner in the dark beside all the bins which are on show (not a good look for a 5 star resort) and also where they collect all the glasses at the bar which is super noisy. The service was so slow and very hard to get anyone’s attention. It was like because we were shoved in a corner they had forgotten about us. The waiter kept forgetting our orders also so he kept coming back to ask us what we had ordered again. The food was nice but the portions are very small and for the price it’s definitively not worth it. What annoyed me the most was that even in my request to book a table I mentioned it was a special occasion and not even a little desert or a complimentary drink as a gesture was done. I could over look the price of the food for the potion sizes if the service and attention to my booking had of been looked after but unfortunately I would not recommend going here. I don’t think this restaurant is up to 5 star standards in such a luxurious resort. Disappointing. Wouldn’t recommend."
