"Placed an order at tonight July). Phoned shop around as Just Eat updated to say the food was delivered. We were told its happening a lot tonight and that it’s on its way and that they are really busy which is fine and I can accept that However, it’s now past midnight, the shop won’t answer the phone and there is no food and money taken out my account. Unbelievably, the shop is closed and despite me ringing they’ve taken the phone off the hook! How bad is that for service?? Charge me but then completely stiff me when I’m trying to find out what’s happening I know they need to close but while they have orders out and not delivered surely that’s a bit unprofessional? So disappointed as food is great but this is a joke!"

"I've been here in the past and have always regretted it as the management seem very keen to get you out the door as early as possible, I never minded the bland, average food so much as they let you take your own alcohol! However recently this place has really sunk to new lows... Food Hygiene Rating of 2 and it's clear to see why. The place really needs to be updated and the management need lessons in basic etiquette. The food on this occasion was inedible, apart from the Naans! When we complained we were asked to leave!! The manager was completely unwilling to accept any criticism and was annoyed from the moment we walked in. We were the only people in there on a Friday night which doesn't bode well for the future of this place especially when they are rude to anyone that happens to walk in. My girlfriend used the bathroom upstairs and she wasn't very impressed that a couple of staff were sat upstairs and ogling her as walked past them, she only mentioned this later or I would have confronted them management immediately. Anyway the moral of the story is to avoid this place, food is getting worse and they just don't care for custom.. not sure how long they will survive at this rate especially with the Food Hygiene Rating!!"

"Return visit here while staying in St Andrews. Luvly welcome from staff. Ordered a luvly bottle of house wine Enjoyed pops and 4 chutneys all very tasty. Ordered a mixed starter to share Then a chicken balti tikka, and a maisha special curry, with a mushroom rice to share, a chapati. and a cheese and garlic naan. All food was delicious and freshly cooked. We had a really enjoyable evening. Highly recommend a visit here ,will be back : :"

"This takeaway is not worth any stars at all. When placing the order I was given a delivery time for an hour after ordering, At I phoned the shop to be told they were very busy and the rain was causing problems. I was assured our food would be with us in ten minutes. Half an hour later I phoned again and complained that our delivery was now an hour late. I was given the same excuse. They really couldn’t care less. At we finally got our food. Lukewarm and really not worth the wait. I would not recommend this takeaway even if it was the last one open. No customer service at all."

"We ordered 6 different dishes chosen by this establishment, and I'm sorry to say that utterly appalling was our conclusion. All three of us agreed that it was all practically inedible and disgusting. I was attracted initially by the fact that Nepali dishes were served here including mojo. The momo were inedible along with almost everything else we ordered including the nan bread which was so dried out, it was like cardboard. Obviously not made on site. We are amazed this place has been in business for any length of time. The on Y acceptable food we received out of nearly £40 of different dishes was the pilau rice. Very sad to report this, we has higher expectations. Avoid this place if you like good quality food."

"We always get takeaway from here as it’s our fave Indian round here. We went to eat in and couldn’t believe the price difference, was so much more expensive to eat in. I understand you pay for service but it was about an extra tenner. We went on a Tuesday and was disappointed they aren’t doing the 50% scheme. Food was amazing as always, just too expensive so we wouldn’t eat in again."

"Ordered through Just Eat and they added an extra 15 minutes to the order. Phoned them 10 minutes after estimated delivery time; the woman told me that they were actually very busy today and that they were waiting on the delivery driver to return so it should only be 15 minutes. 30 minutes later it hadn 't arrived so I cancelled the order. The restaurant accused me of refusing to answer the door and accept the delivery a blatant lie. So, I walked along the road and went to Gorgie Fish Bar. The food was delicious and the service was excellent!"

"Ordered from here a number of times, on this occassion i ordered for a 6pm pick up but had to change the time last minute to 6.30, not a problem and the meal, a starter and main with chapattis and poppadoms was ready for pick up, piping hot and great tasting. Still can't fault the quality of food and service atthis place. (not that I would want to! Parking: Plenty of parking for picking up food. "We visited a fast food restaurant with a comfortable seating area, including high chairs for children (a nice touch). My family and I visited last Saturday afternoon and enjoyed a variety of Indian, Chinese, and standard fast food items such as kebabs and pizzas. Our order was freshly cooked and overall very tasty. "When we arrived at the restaurant, the staff greeted us warmly and seated our group of 11 immediately. When one of our party members wasn't happy with our table, the staff quickly found us a new one without any issues. Our orders for food and drinks were taken promptly and our wait for the food wasn't long. Even though the restaurant was busy, our meals came out quickly and were hot. Everyone loved their meals as they were delicious. We were there for an Elvis night event and the atmosphere was lively and energetic, but the staff remained friendly and hardworking all evening."

"Only had quick tea and a croissant served in paper cup and a paper plate with a plastic spoon... and even though I was eating in. A bit odd and unnecessary I must say. I also need to highlight the very unfortunate spelling mistake on the outside glass wall. It says: welcome in many different languages, including mine which is Icelandic and it is written with two ‘n’ at the end which is directed at male only...drop that extra ‘n’ and this will be correctly written and appropriate to everyone."
