went here on christmas eve lovely entertainment and service. atmosphere was amazing. food was amazing and i have to say, those lamb chops are SO delicious! definitely coming back.

This eatery which is upstairs in houseproud is unreal. The food is gr888888. Hospitality amazing and the place itself is cosy , comfortable and really nice to sit in. Wish they'd do more cakes and buns.

Myself and hubby ate in here last Wednesday evening. Not been here for a few years! Staff were very very charming. Food was delicious! My special biryani even at £16 I thought was expensive it was absolutely delicious! Hubby’s garlic chicken was lovely! Sides rices and poppadom were yummy! I absolutely adore Dejavu. The atmosphere is peaceful and laid-back. The food is consistently delicious, with flavors that are simply out of this world and leave your mouth watering. The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly. If you haven't been to Dejavu yet, make sure to put it on your list of must-visit restaurants. You won't be disappointed. We left the restaurant feeling completely satisfied. Thank you to everyone for a truly memorable evening.

This restaurant is hands down the best authentic Indian restaurant I have ever been to. The staff are consistently cheerful, making it a go-to spot for my wife's birthday and other special events. I have also ordered takeout from De Ja Vu, and their onion bhajis are top-notch, especially when enjoyed with mango chutney. I have been let down by many restaurants that have raised their prices and lowered their quality after Covid, but De Ja Vu remains a stellar dining choice.

I went to this restaurant with my family after hearing about its amazing food. I was welcomed by amazing decorations and friendly staff. The atmosphere was electric. However the food arrived quite late but it was busy so I can understand. But even if it wasn’t busy, the food made up for it, the dum ghost and lamb chops were immaculate and the desserts were top notch. I arrived at a deserted restaurant that appeared to be run by a young girl and her brother. The girl showed no warmth or interaction, making me feel unwelcome. The food was average and the prices were fair. However, it just wasn't my cup of tea. Locals later filled up the place. I don't agree with paying a service charge and always ask for it to be removed from the bill. They did not offer to replace any spilled drinks. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. The abundance of one-star reviews makes me skeptical of their reputation.

When we arrived at the restaurant, the staff greeted us warmly and seated our group of 11 immediately. When one of our party members wasn't happy with our table, the staff quickly found us a new one without any issues. Our orders for food and drinks were taken promptly and our wait for the food wasn't long. Even though the restaurant was busy, our meals came out quickly and were hot. Everyone loved their meals as they were delicious. We were there for an Elvis night event and the atmosphere was lively and energetic, but the staff remained friendly and hardworking all evening.

This wonderful restaurant was a grim favourite when we both lived in the area 10 years ago and with family still living in cheshunt We had to come back after a long 10 years without the tasty food and warm welcome And wow what can I say It’s vertically kept it’s charms With tasty authentic beautifully cooked food and the warmest of welcomes and impeccable service We ate the special biriyani and the lamb momo And the others are vindaloo and korma All amazing tasty fresh and just so worth the drive down from other side of stansted And they made my sisters birthday even more special Thank you for the a wonderful evening And we will be sure not to leave so long for another visit View menu
