"Whilst Haig’s is both perfectly situated and a beautiful place to eat, the prices are disgusting. Yes, the food is well presented and flavoursome, but it is very expensive for the amount you get. Service from the waitress, sorry didn’t catch her name, was exceptional. We did wait a while for the food to arrive but that is, I believe, because it is made to order. Ambience, perfect but the place was empty apart from about another 6 or 7 people. All in all though, we would go back if we win the lottery"

Fabulous night celebrating the new year. The place was jumping and everyone was happy. The piper and drummer were amazing and was nice touch to start 2020

Another lovely meal and great service, only spoiled by a couple of rowdy young men who were swearing at the bar. A family with a young child got up and left!

Popped in on Friday night for a meal with the wife , service was great and friendly , food was fantastic could not fault the place . Would recommend, the black pudding scotch egg was delicious

I was in with my family and we all had a very nice meal. we had two young children, it would have been nice to have coloured pens and mats. The service was excellent, all young staff and very attentive. I thought it was very noisy and it would have been nice to have the bar more separate. The meal and the cocktails were very tasty. we had a lovely night . thanks
