My friend and I ordered takeout and both ended up extremely ill, spending the past 4 days and nights suffering from painful stomach cramps on the toilet. We are awaiting the results from doctors to confirm if it was indeed food poisoning. Order from this place at your own risk."

"After we have booked through the opentable app for 18.45 clock, we actually arrived at over 45 minutes early, but it was not a problem for the staff and we were sitting fast. the starters arrived soon after ordering and were very nice. for the net we had made the burgers and 2 of our party requested well, and the third was a regularly cooked burger, in contrast to some restaurants that cannot differentiate and cook as they were the burgers to this occasion were served exactly as we requested. we have shown on a NEC show, so it is regrettable that we are continuing from soihull."

"Used this Chinese for years. Unfortunately since it has changed to new management the prices have gone up but the quality has gone right down. Ordered tonight and ended up having to return some of it, the food i did eat was bland. Prawn crackers are terrible now with a weird after taste. Also was over charged but didnt realise until i checked the menu. Real shame as i used to love this Chinese."

"Ordered 2 children's meal's which came a lot sooner than all the adult meals. We had already astablished that the chips were not cooked in fish oil beforehand It became apparent that 1 of the child's meal was fish instead of chicken...we told them of this,they did offer to change but the child declined as they'd nearly finished most of the other food on plate and they were embarrassed (it wasn't until her Mum asked that we discovered it was fish) I pointed out to waiter it could have been dangerous as you were already aware of the fish allergy in the party When the adult meals arrived we thought that we'd ordered children's meal in error given the size of them,not very hot to be fair considering how long we had waited but we didn't say anything(all same food) as we just couldn't be bothered with another complaint We had to tell the server twice what we were drinking on arrival and still one drink did not come as requested but couldn't be bothered to wait to have it changed I have to say they did take price of said child's meal off bill. We decided not to have desert and left still hungry and half the party are not even big eaters. Won't be returning No pictures as not worthy of pictures Dietary restrictions: Asked if chips were cooked in fish oil so obviously there was an allergy in the party but still a member of party was served fish instead of chicken. "We went to FireJacks the other day before going to the cinema, As it happened we arrived earlier than the time the table was booked for, We went inwere greeted by a nice young lady who had a ready smile,said no problems then let us choose a table which was great. We sat down and checked out the drinks menu I had a delicous beer which had a goose on the pump handle, the beer was refreshing and tasty, we then went on to order our main courses which were both hot and delicous, I had the Shrimps which were lovelyfresh, we then went onto our mains which were also amazing, I had a firejacks grill which had chicken wings,shrimps,pork ribs,a redslaw a side of chips which was delicous, they have a wide range of sauces to choose from to compliment your food. we then went onto have puddings which were fantastic. The only downside was my fiancee wanted some Thousand island or seafood sauce neither were available"

"I came to the breakfast yesterday and it was perhaps the best decision I made during my trip to Edinburgh. the owner (jonathan) was very nice and warm and welcomed me to the restaurant and gave me the drain on the Scottish breakfast. I had a little fear to try the haggis and black pudding, but everything was delicious! jonathan said they had the best heggis in the city and he didn't lie. the meal was warm and tasty and the perfect fuel for a long and cold day of remembrance, and more than that it gave me a taste of the Scottish hospitality! You have to come here at least once, but hopefully more, in your life!"
