"We walked in thinking we had made reservations but it seemed the restaurant didn't us down. However, the hostess was very kind and offered us a table near the front door... we didn't mind and were happy we got seated because the restaurant was already packed. For Starters we ordered the pan fried shrimp and the calamari. Oh My! The shrimp were succulent and the calamari were tender and both were very yummy. For our entrees, we ordered the Fish Cakes and the Sword Fish with orange sauce. Both were delicious and the flavors exceeded our expectations. The restaurant has a casual atmosphere but a first class service... absolutely top notch. The prices are fair and affordable for this top quality seafood. This was definitely a dining experience not to be forgotten."

"the late night eating for me. eating is really familiar to my hometown eating why I eat ranoush when I feel like eating home eating or when I starve late in the night as they open up to 12 during weekdays and until 1 during weeks. I should recommend her grilled halloumi, lens soup and cheese sambousek. it is not a kind of restaurant where they would like to eat; it is more of a takeaway restaurant (as if they eat in them see that many drivers come and order for the pick-up.) my own opinion, the staff is too tactless, as they do not really care about the customers, unless they complain."

"This restaurant has a great American vibe with options like burgers, ribs, Miller or Corona beer, and more. As soon as we sat down and looked at the menu, we felt like we were in America. The food was absolutely authentic. We tried the honey chicken wings for €9.50, which had a lot of meat and were perfectly cooked. The portions are big, just like in America, so you may want to skip the appetizers. We also tried the Cajun onion burger for €13.80, which was perfect, and the baby back ribs for €19, which were delicious and easy to eat. The meal was topped off with a classic coleslaw salad and a Corona beer. Everything tasted just like in the US, but a bit pricier. This place is a taste of America right in Berlin at Potsdamer Platz."

"We have visited Tempranillo several times and we like it there. It’s great that they have expanded capacity and provided new toilets on the first floor, I feel the area by the staircase lacks a bit of ambience and atmosphere whereas the further area on the first floor is more interesting lighting, pictures etc probably the answer. Waitress forgot to give our order to the kitchen so there was a delay. That apart everything was fine, artichoke special was amazing but padron pepper portion was a bit meagre. Still an enjoyable experience and we will be back sometime."

"My husband, who grew up in the area, had a reunion with a high school friend who also married an American. After visiting the abbey across the street earlier that day, we were surprised when they suggested meeting up at this restaurant in the evening. I have always enjoyed the food in the UK, and this place did not disappoint. I was thrilled to see braised pork belly on the menu, which was cooked perfectly and served in a generous portion. I had no problem with the black pudding, as it reminded me of a Filipino dish. The apple fritter, which I initially mistook for an onion ring, was a nice touch. For dessert, I had the warm, sticky ginger toffee pudding, which was a perfect ending to the meal. Our friends were regulars at the restaurant and had a nice table reserved for us in the back. The ambiance was lovely and it was a great place to enjoy a meal with friends. It would also be a nice spot for a romantic dinner for a couple. Keep in mind that parking is limited and tight, so be prepared to walk a few blocks if you can't find a spot right away."

"We went into Goodman Mayfair on the Monday of our wedding week it was intended as a quiet little date night before the madness ensued, and I couldn't imagine anywhere better! The staff we lovely, it was a nice atmosphere not rammed but busy enough. The meat tray was brought over which pretty much made my week (wedding aside . We had the chateaubriand to share, mostly so we could compare it to the Hawksmoor version which was a veritable meatgasm. Goodman came extremely close. The dry aged beef is so crusty on the outside which I LOVE, but was so juicy and rare in the middle. The mac and cheese was good, but was made with big spirals when I think the smaller macaroni works better. We also had garlicky spinach which was lovely, and bearnaise, pepper and mushroom sauces. I think bearnaise was too much with the mac and cheese, but it was still delicious. They brought a banana parfait at the end with a congrats message on, which was comped thought that was a lovely touch and I hope to return! Very close to Hawksmoor in terms of quality and service but will have to go back to both to be sure :"

"This simple Japanese restaurant serves the kind of food served in izakayas (pubs) in Japan. Due to its proximity to the Japanese school in London nearby there are lots of Japanese customers – indeed I have hardly seen a westerner eating here. It has very basic décor but is good value. At the meal today, breaded pork curry had nicely cooked pork with a good coating, served with rice and a curried sauce. The sace itself was a bit one-dimensional in terms of spicing but the pork was good (13/20). Eel on a bed of rice was very pleasant, the eel glazed with a slightly sweet soy sauce before being grilled. The sauce seeps into the bed of rice, giving it flavour (13/20). The bill was £20 a...read more"

"Firstly, atmosphere. The arch literally melts away with a unique hanging couch design i haven 't seen anywhere in Edinburgh, Glasgow or Scotland, the tables are notably well placed although it may seem a little far to reach for some it lends to good posture and comfort. And before I talk about the food, let 's address the amazing service, i often struggle with the Scottish service sector, few can deny that some scots just shouldn 't. But this is something else, not overly attentive, but accommodating and delightful, will chat and follow up but don 't push it or disturb. Knowledgeable and down to earth, extremely polite and just good staff. And one more thing... There 's a icebox filled with crustations at the bar. Well played. Now food I ordered a rib eye (medium well, i don 't like blood) and the famous Mac and cheese, and everyone else got the sirloin. (Imaginative aren 't they) To start i got tempura prawns and mosteralla. The cheese was well olive oiled, peppered and presented. It was also really good fresh mozzarella which is the main thing here, the peppers were also really good and crunchy. The prawns came with puree tomatoes that weren 't great, over seasoned and a bit dried. However the prawns themselves were a multifaceted experience of batter and squish that you only get in premium seafood, 5 stars for a starter, no head but that 's a UK thing. Steaaaaks The ribeye was amazing, without sauce perfect, and with peppercorn, the best steak in the east coast besides Hawksmoor, for half the price. Enough said. The Mac and cheese was HOT but creamy And all those little burnt bits were delicious. The sirloin was delicious and well charred and salted. Overall amazing atmosphere, menu and staff. Also the business cards are chamfered, 5 stars for design. (If you can 't tell i came with Napier students)"

"Lovely service, great food and the all you can eat is a great deal, even if you only manage one round! We were stuffed and the quality of the sushi and sashimi was amazing. It's also a nice little oasis of calm in the hectic camden market. A lovely little hidden gem. Loved sitting in the Japanese style tables too, a really cool quirk. There is a mandatory 12.5 service charge per table, but the service is good so happy to pay. I hope all the money goes to the servers as they deserve it."

"Delicious, cheap, all you can eat! I can't wait to go back to this place. It had a small variety of about 15-20 dishes but because of this all the food was hot and fresh. It all tasted natural and delicious. I easy ate 4 plates without feeling bloated. The dining area was much smaller than most other buffets but it wasn't crowded. Small range of deserts but much better than other places. Homemade ice cream and fresh cakes. The one thing I noticed that seemed strange is there was no salad I believe it cost £5 -6 well worth it Parking: A small parking area is available out front that can fit about 10 cars then there's a side street. I've never had a problem finding parking here Kid-friendliness: Kids love it. They can easily reach all the food and the deserts are great for them. They will always remember this place Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Spring Roll, Chicken Wings Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free parking lot"

"The clams were not properly cleaned and the ritz-cracker crusted haddock was soggy. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants, but it has undergone a disappointing change. The food is overpriced for the low quality. I would recommend looking elsewhere."

"Meal Type: Dinner Cost Per Person: £20–30 Overall Rating: 5/5 I had an exceptional dining experience! The food was outstanding, earning a perfect 5. The squid, teppanyaki, and fried shrimp were all must-tries; each dish was crafted to perfection. The service was top-notch as well, also deserving a 5. The staff were attentive and friendly, making the evening even more enjoyable. Finally, the atmosphere was equally impressive, creating a warm and inviting setting for dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant for a delightful meal!"

"My friends and I came here back in March and it was wonderful! Sadly it doesn't get the same praise this time around. It wasn't terrible, but it was only okay. The atmosphere was very flat but the place was extremely noisy. We were given a table right in the middle of the room, and were surrounded by loud groups of people who were clearly out for Saturday night drinking, which is completely fine, but made it impossible for my partner and I to hold a conversation. We ordered drinks, my cocktail was missed and I didn't get it until the food came, they did apologise and I suppose it isn't a huge deal but it was slightly annoying. I had blackened cajun fish, and it was nice, but not amazing. My partner had steak, which he loved! Huge compliments to the chef. I had key lime pie which I hadn't had before and it was delicious, my partner had smores waffle, which he said was amazing. Overall the place was good. Maybe I was just having a bad night, or I'm getting old! But it was too noisy for my liking"

"We always enjoy coming to this cosy pub on our visits to Windsor, and today was no exception! We had a nice friendly welcome, and the staff were very helpful with explaining what a ‘substantial’ meal would be to accompany our drinks in line with government restrictions at the time of writing. We really loved the carrot soup of the day a real winter warmer on what was a chilly december day.We also really enjoyed our big chunky tuna sandwiches and tasty salads too all at a very reasonable price from what was a great menu. The atmosphere was cosy and quiet, with a big log fire in the other bar and we loved all the christmas decs.Well done whoever chose the music too it was mainly classic rock music, on at a low volume, and really added to the enjoyment of our visit. It’s great when establishments get this small (but important) thing right. We really enjoyed our visit, and it was great to come back this real jewel in Windsor’s crown literally on the doorstep of the castle back open. If you’ve never been, come and see for yourself!"

"We went for a stroll had thought about booking at Oscar 's. When we got there, we decided to continue with our booking, went inside, but it got a little confusing as we were stood on the steps, waiting. The girl that spoke to us was lovely, though, set our minds at rest. We chose to sit outside, which was great, except that the area around Warrior Square is very 'Bohemian ', especially in the lighter evenings, our evening was a little tainted by smells we weren 't wanting to smell. The burgers were great. One of us had meat, one had veggie, but they were both tasty. The chips were well cooked, the mac cheese was great too. We paid easily, everyone was chatty friendly. It 's just a shame we aren 't appreciative of extra curricular smoking."

"Visiting Hull for the first time. Fancied a Thai meal. Booked but found the place virtually empty at 7.30 on a Friday night not a good sign. Ordered the set meal for 2. Waited over half an hour for food good sign I thought obviously freshly prepared. Whilst we waited the bin from the kitchen which was full was wheeled through the restaurant. Then once emptied wheeled back through. Prawn crackers eventually arrived looked like a whole meal version not great. Eventually the starters arrived. Pork skewers which looked like a piece of bacon on a skewer one of which was stone cold. A Thai fish cake which was like a piece of rubber with no flavour. Prawn toast without a hint of prawn. Thank goodness for the peanut sauce which made the tasteless rubbish edible. The mains arrived. The first dish was bland and watery. The next two had a little taste but not great. My partner said the food has made me grumpy that has never happened. Paid quickly and left feeling sick. Headed to Tesco for chocolate. Do not waste your money."

"crouch end may not be the most obvious place for being spirited, who hurts japanese, but that is what we love the unsung, the underestimated, the unexpected. friends a h suggested Monday night to try their local japanese, wow simply Japanese. we jumped into our small rented connect car and drove through leafy hampstead to crouch end. from the waitress they had given an inner tip. they come on Monday evening after weekly delivery and are ready to be in awe. this waitress was not a sweat. covered in an irresistible panco cover, the steak was fried with a more powerful tofu variation, elegantly fried and choke with teriyaki. miso coated aubergine: chased in the dark, then baked...more"

"Came here while on business and the service was amazing and the food was just as amazing. I ate alone on a Sunday night so not a busy time, but I throughly enjoyed my meal here. My meal was only a basic one course meal. Beef Korma and rice along with keema naan. It was fast and fresh straight from the kitchen, the portions are not huge but Indian food is filling and turned out to be about right, no need to waste food. The prices are not cheap I believe this is a place for quality. I’m happy to pay for quality of food and service, COVID-19 precautions are also well managed as much as they can be in a restaurant. Temperature taken at the door and masks on all staff, I can not imagine a restaurant is an easy place to wear a mask but this was all followed. Next time I’m in the area I will be sure to visit this place again"
