"We visited Franc Bennies and were greeted by a server who handed us a flat glass of Prosecco, which we exchanged for a fresh one. When our two steak frites arrived, both were supposed to be medium but were completely overcooked. They were so tough that I struggled to cut them even with a steak knife, let alone chew them. One of the steaks remained completely untouched (the other person's meal was served outside). Unfortunately, due to time constraints, we didn't have the opportunity to raise our concerns before the end of the meal."

When we arrived, the staff at the front of the restaurant informed us that they had no record of our booking and seemed entirely indifferent about the situation. I'm not sure if the issue was with OpenTable or something else, but it was very disappointing."

The food was cold, so I had to send it back, and my husband's fish and chips were subpar as well—he only received 14 chips! I had made a reservation through the app, but the staff didn’t seem to notice, even though I mentioned it twice to different employees. We were left at a table and had to flag down a passing waitress to take our order. Overall, the service was poor and the food was disappointing. I'm really let down by this experience."

Despite indicating that I needed a wheelchair-accessible table—a request I confirmed via the confirmation email—there was no record of it when I arrived. This oversight was particularly disappointing, especially given that it was a busy Valentine's Day and I had made the reservation well in advance. As a result, my wife had to sit at the end of a bench-style table, which wasn't very comfortable. It's frustrating to fill out a special request, receive confirmation, and then see it not fulfilled. Additionally, the music was quite loud, making it difficult for us to hear each other even while sitting close together."
"I had made a reservation for a table of six for Mother's Day at 12 PM, only to receive a voicemail 30 minutes before our arrival informing us that they could not accommodate us and could only offer a table at 7:30 PM. Since we were already on our way, that was not an option for us. The restaurant's poor organization completely ruined our planned meal."

"The service at this restaurant was terrible. I made a reservation for a table on a Thursday night to celebrate my mother's birthday, but when we arrived, we were not greeted and had to wait for several minutes before someone finally asked if we wanted to wait in the bar area. We decided to wait at the bar, but no one attended to us as the bartender was busy serving other customers, even though the restaurant was not busy at all. I will not waste any more time writing about this place, but I will say that it is not worth the money and the experience was simply not good enough. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant at all costs."

"My OpenTable reservation wasn't found in their system, but I'm not sure whether that's an issue with OpenTable or Frankie's. Fortunately, the staff was accommodating and managed to seat us. The waiter was attentive and took our order promptly. I ordered a pepperoni calzone but ended up with a mac and cheese calzone instead. The waiter and manager were very apologetic; they quickly arranged for a replacement and even offered us a complimentary bowl of fries. However, the replacement was also incorrect, though it's understandable since it can be tough to distinguish from the outside. Overall, the food was enjoyable, and the Oreo milkshake was fantastic. I would recommend giving it a try!"

"I have only been to this restaurant twice, and I can confidently say that there will not be a third visit. My group of four ordered two starters, which were good, but unfortunately, that was the best part of the meal. One of the pizzas we ordered was burnt to the point where less than half was edible, and the other pizza had an extremely dry and tough base. The pasta we ordered arrived cold and had to be sent back, and the steak strip salad was delayed for 15 minutes because the chef burned the steak. As a result, we were not able to dine together as a party. We brought our concerns to our server, who presumably informed the manager because our bill was adjusted. However, we never received an apology or explanation for the subpar food quality. The restaurant was not busy, yet no one took the time to discuss our complaint. I can only assume that other restaurants in this chain offer better quality, but I would need a lot of convincing to give this location another try."

"I had a truly disappointing experience from start to finish. We waited 25 minutes without any service before a staff member finally appeared to take our order after we stood at the kitchen door. Even after placing our order, we had to wait another 20 minutes before I inquired about our food again. The waiter dismissed my concerns about the poor service. The food was fried and unremarkable, though the dessert was enjoyable. Overall, I would never return or recommend this place. While the waiter did offer us a discount due to the service issues, it still didn’t make up for the overall poor experience."

"We had a wonderful New Year's Eve evening that began at Frankie & Benny's. Our server was attentive and our drinks were great. I enjoyed a couple of delicious espresso martinis, while my partner opted for a classic beer. The only hiccup was that the margarita pizza we ordered with chicken initially came without the chicken. By the time it was corrected, I had already finished my burger. However, the burger was satisfying and fortunately, the pizza was tasty enough to not make a big issue out of it. We will definitely return as we received a discount through the app, making it a worthwhile visit. We look forward to using this discount for future visits."
