"I tried this because it was featured in the Coventry telegraph as a Deliveroo award winner But I was in for a huge disappointment This is why u shouldn’t waste ur money food took an over an hour to arrive the sambar was...watered down and tasteless the Bombay sandwich was a thick slice of boiled potato, onion, tomato, a slice of processed cheese and mint sauce in toast the masala chips were not cooked enough and was just chips fried in old oil with a sweet sauce thrown on it the plain chips were also fried in the same old oil and not cooked my dad ordered the meal deal and they gave him the wrong dhal the rest of the food tasted horrible. The desert he ordered was nice Overall it was wasted. Very disappointed On a final note I think it was the husband that delivered the food and he was just plain rude"

"If you like good Indian food, you will love this place. we moved to the opposite a few months ago and went to this restaurant a few times uncertain what to do. it was hard to imagine an Indian restaurant that found its environmental foot in an old Victorian pub. However, after seeing the michelin guide and other food guides favored stickers, we finally decided to try it last week for dinner and were pleasantly surprised how beautiful, intimate and cozy the restaurant is. after selecting the different menus, my man treats us the tasting with matching weeps. the food was delicious, inventive, well dosed and well decorated, and the service was attentive and friendly. I liked the spicy selection of cocktails, with zimt, kardamom, chili or saffron as very original. the place was with the festive amount of abuzz. a true neighboring cheek."

"we have rejoined and as we come into the door, we are warmly welcomed by the young people who keep the door. they welcomed us on our table and we were really impressed by service and atmosphere! this restraunt is very well decorated. we ordered our popodums and they were the best we ever tasted and we have a long history of curries! they were as fresh as a goose blooming and the sauce was beautiful. the young polite waiter came with our net in a short waiting period. they wanted to die! absolutely amazing eating the owners came to us and had a friendly chat and told us how he did his curries. they could taste the flavor very and it was very mouthwater! I recommend a visit here! by brandon, walsall"

"We arrived ten minutes before our booking and we're seated immediately. Very lovely girl on reception who explained how it worked. The server arrived promptly to take our drinks orders, then we tried the starters. Most were fabulous, my favourite was the chilli cauliflower outstanding! Hubby loved the chickpeas. All were hot, and starters were being replenished as they got low. They don't appear to do a massive quantity each time, which makes sense if you want to keep the quality of the food. For my taste, the paneer had far, far too much cardamom and it was unpleasant to eat. The mains were very good. Hubby had the lamb dishes and he was very happy with the quality of the meat. He also had the fish curry which he enjoyed. Both of us were hugely impressed with the rice, but felt the naan was a little dry. The Vege curries were great, especially the saag aloo! Wow! However, again the paneer was dominated by far too much Cardamom rendering it inedible. The fresh noodles were outstanding. The chef cooking did it to absolute perfection! He was polite and friendly, as we're all of the staff. Desserts were plentiful, lots to choose from. Highly recommend the Gulab Jamon and the mango rice pudding luscious! I really felt compelled to write a positive review as the previous reviews seem very unfair. For a buffet , this is fantastic! Of course there are some dishes that weren't outstanding/ not at all to my taste, but there were loads that were. For what we ate, and the excellent, friendly service we received, this was incredible value. We both left very, very full and very happy. This is the first time we have eaten here and will definitely return and recommend. Hubby is British Indian and over half the diners in tonight we're Asian origin, so I'm not sure at all where the other reviewer was eating at?"

"It’s not the first time we’ve visited Lilu and that’s because it is SO good. They have outstanding, fresh, tasty food and wonderful service from all the staff who make you feel welcome as soon as you step inside. Two courses are £35 or three...for £39. Book yourself in to make sure you get a table. They also offer tasting menus and other options so it’s worth checking out their website. We had the soft shell crab and salmon with mango and mint, the chicken tikka and lamb cutlets kebabs with a blue cheese naan, a medium chicken dish with a tasty sweet sauce and potatoes, duck with a medium spiced sauce with rice and various exciting sides, we also had three of the Lilu special naans and the papadums with an assortment of chutneys. To finish we had the chocolate ganache dessert which was so tasty. This place is a definite must try in Leicester! You will not regret it."

"Went to this place for with a couple of friends expecting some good Indian food n a comfortable place to talk to. The outlet is just on the main road so quite easy to find out. Though parking maybe available a couple of blocks away. On the inside the place was quite clean, spacious, bright n well laid out. Seating was quiet n comfortable. The ambience had the aroma of a good tandoori food bcoz of the open kitchen. We ordered an non veg platter to start with along with mocktail. The food was sizzling n quite a large serving size. The fish chicken and lamb all was very well done n tasty. The softness n the juices were retained in the food which gave it an extra flavour. The lamb chops were specially good and also the seekh kababs stood out. In the main course we wanted to try the Nihari n also ordered some rogan josh. Nihari was a typically Delhi kind but low on flavours comparatively. The softness was there but the spices were slightly different though I m not saying it was bad. Really tasty. The Rohan josh also was good n tasty, adequately spiced n well cooked. The tandoori roti was also very soft n good. Overall a very North india kind of experience so far away. Service n ambience were both very good n we enjoyed my first evening in London. Surely recommended for a good food."

"We were a group of five at Amber. We ordered 4 chicken dishes and 1 vegetarian dish. After the food arrived, my girlfriend and I (who had ordered the same dish) noticed that we were served fish instead of chicken. When I brought this to the waiter's attention, he adamantly denied it and said that the chicken had been grilled beforehand, which may have altered the taste. When I asked him to try the chicken meat (which was translucent and did not have the texture of meat), he said he didn't need to because it was chicken. Besides the fact that it smelled strongly of fish, I found this to be unprofessional.. very disappointing. The others at my table who also ordered chicken dishes did not experience this issue, and the comparison of their dishes confirmed it. I can recommend the naan bread and the ambiance, but I will not be returning to the restaurant as I expected at least some sort of acknowledgement, especially since I returned the dish almost untouched."

"Zamana is our top choice for a meal. We absolutely love the food, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the decor is so inviting. The dishes are fantastic, especially the starters, tender lamb chops, chaat, and lahori boti. The lamb and chicken karahi paired with warm, soft naan are simply delicious. Don't miss out on the gajar halwa for dessert—it's a must-try! The owner is always welcoming, and they go out of their way to accommodate us, even during busy times. I highly recommend giving Zamana a try; you won't be disappointed."

"We placed an order tonight with Roshini and were pleasantly impressed by the service. As a family, we can be quite picky when it comes to Indian food, but we decided to give this restaurant a try. The food was excellent, with generous portions of meat in the dishes, rich flavors, and it arrived still hot. The staff, from taking our order to the delivery, was friendly and polite, and the food was delivered right on time. We will definitely be ordering from here again in the future."

"Unfortunately we waited for 1.5 hours for our main courses and no explanation was given until we asked. We would have liked to have been told what the problem was and also given some food to stave off the hunger. Otherwise the meal was delicious when it finally arrived."

"Not been here, since I moved back to Glasgow from Liverpool. Even to this day this place delivers. It is a buffet eating place but also have ala carte too. While most buffet places are run down, this place has a fine dine decor. Very clean, very friendly staff, very attentive, and the food is great. Practically right next to Glasgow central train station, this place is a must. I have seen these people cooking for huge Indian weddings in the past and they are very clean in the kitchen. I think I'll have Carrot Halwa and some kind of semolina ball for dessert that they make, these are breathtakingly good desserts. You can't beat lunch for £7.95 Get there and do a review as I'm sure you will enjoy it as much as myself and people I have introduced to this place have liked. Only bad thing. Because the food is so nice I always over eat and feel bloated: this is my own fault:"
"This is the best curry house I’ve been to in the UK by a long way. Staff the owner are attentive enough without being overbearing. The amount of meat in the curries was very generous, especially for the price. Ordered 1. Chicken Achari our favourite dish which had lots of the pickle spice sourness you want from this. Breast pieces were juicy tender. Must try in my opinion. 2. Handi Gosht a less wet curry in a very thick rich tomato based gravy. Even more meat than the chicken dish above lamb was fall apart tender. Nice amount of heat to the dish too. 3. Shabji Chameli vegetarian curry with eggplant, okra cauliflower with a tomato based gravy cooked with Indian pickles. Really nice overall balance to the dish a lot of vegetables. 4. Garlic Pilau loaded with garlic which added to the other dishes, just as I like it. 5. Chapati good charring on the bread but soft not bitter at all. If you are in Leeds, it is worth eating here. If I was there any longer I’d be going back again to try some of the other dishes including the Mach Naga."

"came early to dinner, but was sitting immediately. only one woman was there from the beginning to the end of our meal. incorrect ordering was served on the table, however, when it was taken to the staffing of the server, it apologised and changed the order quickly. everything was good, but was not happy with the Biryani(prawn and huhn tikka) very sticky with granatapfel and rosin. Perhaps most customers in this restaurant enjoy this recipe of biryani. overall I would definitely come back to this restaurant."

"This was our first time dining at Tandoori Lounge, as we typically frequent another Indian restaurant in Hornchurch. However, we were delighted that we decided to try this place out. The staff welcomed us warmly and promptly seated us at our table. The interior decor was beautiful, creating a comfortable atmosphere. The food was delicious, from the poppadoms to the Lamb Dansak. Our server was friendly and took the time to explain how the dishes could be prepared to our preference (hot, medium, or mild). Overall, we will definitely be coming back to Tandoori Lounge in the future."
