"Not been here, since I moved back to Glasgow from Liverpool. Even to this day this place delivers. It is a buffet eating place but also have ala carte too. While most buffet places are run down, this place has a fine dine decor. Very clean, very friendly staff, very attentive, and the food is great. Practically right next to Glasgow central train station, this place is a must. I have seen these people cooking for huge Indian weddings in the past and they are very clean in the kitchen. I think I'll have Carrot Halwa and some kind of semolina ball for dessert that they make, these are breathtakingly good desserts. You can't beat lunch for £7.95 Get there and do a review as I'm sure you will enjoy it as much as myself and people I have introduced to this place have liked. Only bad thing. Because the food is so nice I always over eat and feel bloated: this is my own fault:"

I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone because the waiter was rude. When I asked him about the food in the buffet, he said he didn't know. As a result, the quality of the food was very poor.

Beautiful food in a welcoming environment. Very friendly staff and great customer service. Fantastic value in the city centre location. If you are looking for a first class Indian meal then don't go anywhere else.

Returned again as a known quantity, and was not disappointed. The dinner buffet was tasty, though. There's not a lot of spice, even on the items noted as spicy, and the naan suffered from being on a buffet line, but it was an enjoyable meal regardless. View menu

Bombay Blues is the first Indian restaurant that stole my heart in Glasgow. The staff is funny and welcoming (they often surprise you with a complimentary drink or maybe they just like me!). The buffet is excellent, especially with the endless supply of chicken pakora. The a la carte menu is also reasonably priced and features fresh dishes, likely due to the popularity of the buffet allowing the chefs to focus on creating delicious curries.

I have visited this restaurant around 5 times and the service has consistently been excellent. The food, on the other hand, has always been mediocre. It's not exceptional, but it's not terrible either; just average. I have sampled the buffet on a couple of occasions, and if quantity is your measure of a good restaurant, then this place is perfect. However, I personally prefer quality over quantity. Ordering a la carte is a better option, although it is a bit on the expensive side. It's good, but not amazing. I wouldn't discourage you from going, but don't expect to be blown away.

Honestly, some of the best Indian food I've ever had! The Buffet is usually the best value, if you go for lunch it is only 8 GBP. The best Chicken korma I've had to date is from this place. I once went with my family at 9pm, and although online it says the buffet is open til 10pm, it was closed. But the staff was super accommodating, and we ordered off the menu. I'm not sure if it was the owner or the manager, sat down with us and explained which each dish was and what was in it, as it was my family's first time eating Indian. He even discounted our check saying one of the dishes took too long. It also has a nice ambiance. I've been to this restaurant multiples times and am never disappointe... View menu

Warning avoid! If you are after stale popadums, mediocre all you can eat buffet or below par off the menu currys then by all means this will do the job. For us, it was completely average and expensive £40 for 2 currys and 4 beers). At that price you'd expect something decent, but the curries were very disappointingly poor. Imagine an over priced, poor quality curry house that doesn't need to try, but still snares unsuspecting passing trade thanks to its proximity to a mainline station and you get the picture. Despite its location we were the only table in there between 9pm and 10:30pm on a busy Thursday night. Believe me the previous reviews don't depict the reality. I'd strongly advise tryi...

A late lunch and catch up with Friends. A surprising find the welcome given to us by Jevia the Maitre D and owner was lovely, the decor was very tasteful and surprisingly modern. We opted for the lunchtime buffet at £7.95, Jevia made sure there was fresh starters for us and even came to the table with delicious fresh garlic nan. There was plenty to choose from for both courses my favourites were the Cauliflower Pakora and Buttered Chicken. The Girls had a bottle of wine and I had a pint of Cobra which was very nice, we lingered a while whilst catching up and we did not feel rushed in anyway in fact we all had a liquer on the house and an invited to go for a drink in the bar of their Sister H...
