"This is the finest Italian dining experiences I have ever had. Before I mention anything about the food, the service provided by Dina was incredible. I felt as if she treated us like old friends and nothing was too much to ask for. Thank you!...Her colleagues were also great hosts. The menu itself offers an excellent variety of dishes, many staples of Italian cuisine like Carbonara but also many unique dishes. They have a lovely specials board too which I ordered from I had the oz T-Bone steak and it was heaven! I highly recommend the Arancini aswell!"

"After visiting another restaurant on Chorley New Road, we decided to check out this new addition to their collection. We found the quirky two-level layout of the restaurant to be much more appealing. We used to go there when it was called Shadus, an Indian restaurant. Retreat has clearly invested a lot in the decor and ambiance, creating a very comfortable interior. For anyone who may have difficulty with stairs, I recommend requesting a table on the ground floor, as dining is available on both levels."

"I don't usually write reviews, but the service at this restaurant was exceptional! I placed my order and received my food within 30 minutes, even though I live at least a 10-minute drive away. The food was still warm when I ate it, and all for the low price of £23.50! I would definitely recommend Spicy Grill."

"I am so rare in the surroundings of marchmont that there is a list of places to visit for me. I spyed the meadowlark, one of them, as I died, just before immersing in the limits of the delicious italian pizzeria, which was another. with an elegant double sunbank window front is worth visiting just to look at its aspekt. the interieur, although configured as an informal take, also retains stylish mais formation. the majority of their business is as takeout shop, but there is space for a dozen seats in, so I have benefited from it and knocked down. menus were on the table, but also large over one of the walls. I am a great fan of aubergine, so decided to start her melanzana (a different variant of the writing of one of my favorite dishes to consider). since two important Italian gentleman pizzateig around the place, behind the theke, it seemed churlish not to order pizza, so I decided for their 12′′ meat collection. the place is not licensed, so I brought a soft drink from their well-stocked refrigerator. the melanzana was with me soon and was a really good return of the teller. the part was fruitful and the aromen strong, so I completely satisfied. the pizza was so good and better. the topping was the star, with the excellent selection of meat, from han to pfefferoni, salami to ham, delicious meatballs, combined for a wonderful firmness of meat. overall I was very impressed by delicious. it certainly lived up to its name and offers me two unforgettable dishes. "Absolutely shameful service ordered a cheese and tomato pizza, which picked up with slices under the pizza and stuck to the box. called to explain the shop and the manager was nothing but rude and ignorant and said there was nothing he could do. so we then took the pizza to the store that is less than half a mile away and showed the staff....they didn't care and said it wasn't wrong there, but the delivery driver had admitted that they dropped the pizza before they did not deliver any refund or replace the pizza. Attitude is lively and they should definitely not run a kind of reataurant. AVOID!!! there are a million better places to order in Carlisle."

"Harry's is one of the few eat-in takeaway food places that is always good to visit. I have been going there on and off for years because its on my doorstep, despite nearly always busy and with plenty of customers, food preparation takes a reasonable amount of time. A varied menu for any mood, no matter what you fancy Its always hot and tasty and most important reasonably priced. Harry's desserts are nice too, especially the shakes, which are extremely popular with kids and adults alike. The delivery side is a little hit and miss, but if you ever have a complaint it is dealt with professionally and courteously and most importantly to your satisfaction."

"absolutely fantastic place. eating is great for the price and service is fantastic. had a group dinner with a big party of 40 and they did not only manage to get all orders right, but it all came together, all hot, all right and tasty! Even the steak was made in the ordered medium rare. I have found many places to crack under the pressure of a large group and the quality drop well eating. it's not the case here. the quality is just as great if they were on a table of 2 or 20 or even 40!"

"I really wanted to like this place but it was just awful in so many ways. The food was pretty good, we both had a carbonara but unfortunately my partner found 2 hairs in their food, after getting halfway through my meal I noticed that both my plate and glass were filthy. My glass was dusty and also had a small hair in it and my plate had clearly not been cleaned properly. My napkin also had a random stain on it and had to be replaced. Although the food wasn't bad it also wasn't what was advertised, it was very clearly not fresh pasta and it wasn't the type that was supposed to come with the dish, instead of fresh ribbon pasta we just got standard premade spaghetti. Very unfortunate, it should have been a red flag that the place was empty on a Friday night, I definitely won't be back until they seriously review their hygiene standards."

"eating was really nice. ruined by a rude van who refused to deliver to the door. I was ordered to pay £3,50 for the delivery of just eat where I ordered with order number 1624935977. I have ordered many food from various takeaways and all supply. without problems to the door. the website says that it is delivered directly to its door in no time at the arrival the driver called, said he was in the parking space, i.e. the labyrinth, and I said they come along the landing and I am at the number *. there are no steps and only 60 seconds to foot from my car to the door. the driver said he was in the car in the parking lot. So I have repeated, suspended and waited. I waited a moment. when I was disabled in my pyjamas with pain in my back, I had to go barefoot until the end of the landing to see the guy in his car parked, he saw me, but he stayed in his car. I had expected to go to his car door, I was fucked, in pain, again, barefoot, in my Jim jams. he knew where I was, so I went back home and waited. he hasn't come yet. I was in vain. I went back to the end, he was parked a bit closer this time, sat still in his car and did not have to come out until I spoke, well, I'm in vain, so I called you to deliver to the door. everything he could say was not screaming, every time I cried you were going to the door. he immediately came out, certain that he cannot feel threatened by a 50-year old fat woman with a bad back, and once I repeated, they should deliver the door that he said no screaming and came back into the car. this supplied ruber made my spicy and ruined all out for joy my meal, and two hours on I sit here, still angry with I don't just want to use sfc kebabish express, but also just eat not. the hire of the driver was disgusting. he pays 3.50 pounds to deliver to the door. so, not often I swear, but he finally deserved to say it, away, which gave him his right to answer to swear me again. what have I done to earn such a terrible delivery service, why has this driver refused how he should deliver directly to the door. you ruined my meal and upset me for the night. I'll never be back."

"Upon placing my delivery order over the phone, the food arrived promptly. During the phone order, the representative confirmed our postcode twice, which was accurate. However, the delivery driver's conduct was unpleasant. Despite having lived at the same address for years, he insisted that the postcode given was incorrect and struggled to understand my directions. The driver then proceeded to speak on the phone with the manager or someone else without saying goodbye while driving around for several minutes trying to search for our address. In the past, I have never had any problems with courier services or food delivery. Although the food was quite enjoyable, I am uncertain if I will order from this restaurant again. After reading other reviews, it appears that the owner is disregarding the comments and merely reiterating the benefits of online ordering and savings to all of the customers, which is surprising."
