Savory garlic butter, perfect for spreading or dipping, with a rich, creamy texture and infused with aromatic garlic.

"So so disappointed with dinner here last night. Dined here 13th July and a few months before that. Food was exceptional. Dined yesterday with my 3 sisters for a birthday celebration. I had my usual chicken goujons and they were only small crispy ends with almost no chicken. One sister had the roast Turkey and ham mostly stuffing with some vegetables which were practically unrecognisable. Another sister had haddock which was overcooked. The waiter mistakenly took the wrong order for the 4th sister and she was served salmon with roast potatoes which were obviously reheated she had asked for chips. Again, it was hard to decipher what the veg was. We were very very disappointed. Desserts were lovely. Service was good waiter kept telling us that he’d report all back to the chef. It was so bad, the waiter removed the price of our teas. So so disappointed."

"The first time we went we age from the lunch menu with the 3 courses for £18 option I really enjoyed my starter, the short rib had a beautiful barbecue taste and the pickeled mustard seeds added a fantastic texture and a beautifuly sharp contrast to the meat. I felt like the crispy shallots didn't add much other than texture, maybe more would've helped. Presentation wise I loved the jar the ribs came in For the main course at @alstonmanchestr I opted the Tweed Valley 250g rump steak which was served with garlic butter and fries on the side. The rump was a £3 surcharge to the set menu, I could've had a flat iron steak for no extra charge but I couldn't do that to myself. The steak was so perfect, I asked for mine rare which did not disappoint. The meat was thick and tasty. I enjoyed the fries but I would've preferred chips, also if I wasn't having 3 courses I would've grabbed some veg on the side. For Dessert I enjoyed Dark berries and gin tart with almond ice cream. This was a great end to my meal, the gin undertoned the sharp Berry flavours and wasn't overpowering. The pastry was firm and sweet. and I enjoyed the dessicated almond on the ice cream provided a nice texture. Our second visit we ate in the evening from the a la carte Starter Courgette and corn fritters with chilli tzatziki did not disappoint, they smelt very aromatic and were nice and crispy. The flavours were great but the main event had to be the chilli tzatziki underneath, it tasted incredible Main I had decided a few days before that I deserved a T bone as it had been a while since I had one. This one was 500g and served with either chips, mash or veg, and a choice of sauce. I opted for chips and I decided to try the bone marrow butter which did not disappoint. All the Tweed Valley steaks at Alston are hand selected by a master butcher from the best cattle that's been fed grass and barley My steak, served rare, was perfect and in true T bone fashion got less cooked in the center so I was pretty much eating a live cow..mmmmm. The seasoning on the seared meat was gorgeous and with that bone marrow butter spread on it was taken to a next level"

"This is our local, all the family love all their food... the unfortunate thing is their delivery time, sometimes weve decided against ordering due to the delivery time, takeaways on the other side of Blackburn have bought the food quicker. Wouldnt look to order anywhere else if the time was less for the food. Thanks"

"The food quality overall was mediocre. When dining at a steak restaurant, one would expect the steak to be better than what is offered at other non-specialized restaurants. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The prices were on the high end for a local restaurant, but the quality and decor were lacking, which was disappointing."

"the first and last time to eat here. but first I would like to say that the personal was the only thing that were nice for this place they were, my steak came as hard as a flip-flop (ordered medium) was then given a second steak and cut it open and it was rarely even blue and I could probably be treated with it when I had some pfeffercorn sauce to wash it, but I got a cold tasteless top from what was like."

"Visited 8pm on Saturday night with friends and family for a couple of drinks , having been in various bars and enjoyed sampling the cocktails we were disappointed when our drinks arrived as the glasses in which they were served were about half the size of cocktail glasses elsewhere although still cost the same . I visited the toilets and found them filthy -waders required due to the amount of water on the floor which was also littered with paper towels , I brought this to the attention of a female member of staff who just shrugged her shoulders and walked off.Needless to say we never stayed very long and won't be returning"

"accommodating. The food was decent, nothing extraordinary, but still enjoyable. However, when we returned for dinner a few days later, the service was disappointing. The waitress seemed disinterested and took a long time to take our order. Overall, a mixed experience with great service during the day and poor service at night."

"Great food and service! I’d definitely go back. The only thing I would say, the tables were too close together, a bit squashed. Apart from that, we thoroughly enjoyed it! Well done Chequers on the Green"

"My mother took us (myself, my husband, and a close friend , to TL as a surprise and we had a truly lovely time. This cozy French restaurant has great service and good food. The live piano music we could hear coming from the jazz bar upstairs added to the ambience. The private dining room we were in was intimate and comfortable and didn 't feel too cut off from the rest of the place. The service was attentive but subtle, so none of that is everything ok every 5 minutes. Classic Parisian Bistro dishes, well cooked, so no complaints. They also served a perfect rare steak which was good, as some/many places chicken out of serving anything even slightly pink, so Bravo there. All in all a lovely place to eat with friends and family."

"How can you not love Burger Lobster? I had the pleasure of dining at West India Quay and it was an incredible experience. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The menu offered a great variety of dishes. I particularly enjoyed the Lobster pasta, which was cooked to perfection and had the perfect balance of flavors. The service was top-notch and staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. They provided great recommendations and ensured that we were comfortable throughout the meal. Overall, I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great dining experience. The food, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional and I will definitely be returning soon!"

"Carluccios was my first dining experience out following I was impressed by the measures put in place by the team and how well these were adhered to. I felt completely at ease throughout my meal, staff wore face masks, tables were socially distanced, staff...were visibly washing their hands/using hand sanitiser throughout and the cleanliness of the restaurant was unmatched. It was reassuring to see these protocols in place during these uncertain times. The staff really went above and beyond to deliver the authentic Carluccio’s experience despite the current challenges! My experience was amazing from beginning until end. I was greeted by management at the door and by the wonderful bar team, Gemma and Emma, who made me feel welcomed with their friendly greetings as I shown to my table. I was then greeted by my amazing waitress Sasina, who is an absolute credit to the team! She was so friendly and bubbly, very attentive to our needs and delivered an overall wonderful experience! Our drinks order was taken promptly, we were asked if we had any allergies (very impressive and offered bread and olives to start off with. Once our drinks arrived, our food order was taken quickly without any hassle. Sasina suggested the lasagna for my main with a side of the garlic and rosemary roast potatoes. Her suggestions were superb! Sasina was also very mindful of the fact my guest was a vegetarian, making sure to point out all the vegetarian options (and even went out of her way to get some vegetarian Parmesan cheese Our food came promptly and cannot be faulted. It tasted incredible (big thanks to the amazing chefs We had the garlic focaccia with cheese, tomato bruschetta and calamari to start which was delicious. The calamari is the best I have ever had! And for mains, we had the lasagna and the spinach and ricotta ravioli (which the lovely Sasina was able to change the usual sauce to a tomato one with a side of garlic and rosemary roast potatoes. Our meal was phenomenal and the service was even better! My mother and I will be returning to dine with the amazing team at Carluccios without a doubt! Overall, the restaurant had a lovely, welcoming ambiance. All of the staff were smiley and friendly and all made a point of saying goodbye to us as we left the restaurant. I look forward to coming back and trying more of the mouth-watering new menu! Thank you all for a terrific experience!"

"Bad service the whole way through. I can see that the restaurant has told other reviewers that they have checked their CCTV . I would love for you to check the CCTV and see what we saw! I am only posting this as your restaurant contacted OpenTable to state we were no shows. Unfortunately we did show. How did you miss us in a practically empty restaurant? We had to chase for water, napkins, plates, condiments etc. Took a napkin from the empty table next to us eventually. 5 mins later a femal staff member walked over and dumped about 10 napkins on our table and walked away. Aggressive much! The quickest part was getting the bill. My partner was served a cocktail that was approximately 1 sip and it was gone as the Martini glass resembled something from a doll 's house play set. Staff openly talking about us in ear shot huff, puff, what do they want , WHAT 'S WRONG yelled from the bar when we requested another drink from a waitress. Food... Garlic bread? Covered in rosemary, couldn 't find/see/taste garlic. Burger bun a brick, chips cooked on the outside not the middle and my chicken was so dry it peeled and was like string. Checked the review site before we went and saw 4.3 so thought this will be great. As meal became worse and worse we read the comments in the reviews. Filter anything from the last 4-6 months and it 's ALL bad. I am assuming I am too going to be called malicious as a previous review was and I see they had a real similar experience to us. No wonder it was practically empty at 9pm on a sat night. We won 't be going back. Refused to pay service which they after a fashion fianlly broken hearted it seemed accepted but we 're so disappointed. The venue looks beautiful, menu looks great and there were 2 staff members out if the team of 6 or so who we saw, who when they appeared were not particulary helpful but the whole experience was shocking. £80+ for 2 people, 2 mains a sharer starter, 4 drinks and 2 sides for what we got in hindsight unacceptable I should have argued for most of the food to be removed from the bill. Food and anbienc should be renamed Food and Ambulace. The manager sists there watching his CCTV and the owner is raking it in from unsuspecting guests and no doubt pays his staff a pittance so thats why they and the unqualified chef act like this .They need to learn manners. Imagine this lot on a cookery show each week as they would all be evicted on the first eviction date or Lord Sugar would fire the whole lot and ask for a new set of customers. Why are people so dishonest as its theft of you hard earned cash.Dispicable."

"I booked this restaurant as we were staying at Legoland for my son’s birthday. I had read reviews that the Legoland hotel was not worth the money. So after some research and looking at menus GOGOs seemed the place to go. I originally booked for 4:45pm 2 adults 2 children but called on the day and asked if we could arrive at 6pm, I was told it was no problem. We arrived at the restaurant for 5:45pm. it’s on a beautiful marina and backs on to a race course. Walking over to the restaurant there were people outside, part of a party blocking the pathway. We sat down and were asked what drinks we would like, and served our drinks. My husband felt uncomfortable in the restaurant as we had not dressed up as we had been at Legoland but the majority of people had made an effort there. around 20mins after the waitress came over and told us it would be an 1 hour wait for food! Due to the party outside of 100 guests. I asked if they could cook the children’s food first and she went to ask the manager. The manager returned and said that he can cook the children’s food first but we would have to wait for an hour maybe longer, I asked if they could just cook all of our food together as a family of 4 as we was out for our sons birthday. He said the party of a 100 asked for their food to be ready for 6pm. I explained that I had called to change the time and no one informed me of the large party and there would be a delay in food. The manager did apologise but this was not good enough. We decided to leave due to the wait and the drinks were on the house. Looking back on this now, I think my husband was right and they did not want our custom, maybe because of the way we was dressed and we was the only table with 2 young children! I am really disappointed. If you have children I wouldn’t book here, children have a choice of 2 things to eat on the menu. make sure you make an effort so you look like you can afford to eat there! More annoying the food looked lovely."

"As summer is fast aproaching the hearty desserts like Jam rolly polly is put to one side and makes why for the lighter while still flavoursome desserts like Crepes and pancakes. I must confess I 'm more of team 'pancake ' than team crepe and for those cynics out there believe me their is a difference. However a certain little Brazilian Creperie may have changed the balance in this regard. Senzala based in the heart of Brixton Market is an inviting small restaraunt with friendly staff and with so many restaurant competing and vying for customers, it is very impressive to see Senzala is always bustling with customers and standing their ground. What is so impressive about Senzala is the options, it can 't be just considered a place you go after a meal for desert, it could easily and most of the time has appealed as a place to go and enjoy a caipirinha or two (which they have a strawberry version, worth a try) and enjoy the many options from tapas to salad to savoury crepes consisting of cheese,Italian sausage and peppers (the godfather) to sweet crepes (sweet sin) grilled banana, Belgian chocolate, splash of rum and ice cream all rolled into one flavoursome dish. With the option of eating inside or out and staff that will tend to your foody whims it most certainly a place to check out. "I went to Prezzo's with my family and a friend and the atmosphere was fantastic. The staff, especially a young man named James, were very friendly. James had great banter and was very knowledgeable about the menu. He knew exactly what to recommend and when to recommend it. If it weren't for him, I probably wouldn't be writing this review. Overall, excellent experience and highly recommended."

"We have been frequenting this restaurant for fish and chips for many years. Unfortunately, our recent experiences have left us rather disappointed and we will not be returning. While the chips and batter are still delicious, the main focus of the meal - the fish - has not met our expectations. The fish has not seemed very fresh on multiple occasions, a problem we never encountered before. Additionally, we have received questionable portion sizes when we ordered the "large" fish portions. The Chinese cuisine remains excellent as noted in my previous review, but the fish and chips have been a disappointment. It's a shame."

"This was our second time visiting this restaurant, as our first experience with the food and service was great. We decided to bring some friends along for a meal before heading to the theater during the holiday season. Unfortunately, on this visit we encountered a few issues. One of the starters we ordered was not available (the fish), and two of the sauces we wanted with our main courses (béarnaise and mushrooms n bacon) were also unavailable. Additionally, when we ordered a Bacardi and Coke, the drink came only as a Coke. After bringing this to the waiter's attention, they quickly returned with what we believed to be Bacardi, only to discover it was actually Malibu once it was mixed. Overall, we were disappointed with our experience this time and are unsure if we will return in the future."

"Very disappointing. I booked private room for my 50th and had someone come to decorate room before arriving she advised me that the manager Darren was rude to her when she arrived and told her to stop whilst he was speaking to some random person. I was advised £20 per head and I paid for extra 2 as they couldn’t go but didn’t want to say. Now checking bill I have been given a £30 service charge which I was never advised about. After settling drinks and food bill no one came to me and asked if everything was ok, so we just up and left even though we had room for another hour and half. Wasn’t willing to spend any more money. Will say food was lovely and bar staff was pleasant enough. But just found the guy Darren very off not sure if he owner or manager but seriously needs to brush up on manners if he wants people though that door! Everyone asked me today how Bistro 210 was gave them the honest answer won’t be back!"

"We had the pleasure of dining at this remarkable restaurant yesterday, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, we were enveloped in a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the stage for a truly delightful evening. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the Beef Bourguignon. It was a masterpiece of flavors tender, rich, and perfectly seasoned, every bite was a testament to the chef’s skill and the quality of the ingredients used. Paired with a beautifully chosen wine, it was simply divine! What made our dinner even more special was the exceptional service we received from Massimiliano. His professionalism and genuine passion for hospitality shone through every interaction. He made us feel like honored guests, offering insightful recommendations and ensuring every aspect of our dining experience was flawless. Massimiliano's attention to detail and warm demeanor elevated our evening to new heights. I can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough! With exquisite food, top notch staff made by professional and always smiling people, and a team manager like Massimiliano, who bring an extra touch of magic to every meal, it truly is a hidden gem. We left with our hearts full and our taste buds dancing. Thank you for an extraordinary dining experience – we can’t wait to return!"

"Despite being booked at the last-minute, I managed to sneak a table at Harper's in Thornton. The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. Started out at the bar with plenty of drinks choice on offer with some particularly good gin and bourbon. Food was superb and clearly freshly made with the steak and burgers being quite sublime and definitely a cut above the norm. Service was absolutely on point with a friendly and efficient team that made us feel welcome. Cherry on the cake was that the whole evening at Harper's was very good value for money. Recommend it to anyone. We'll definitely be going back again..."
