"Despite being booked at the last-minute, I managed to sneak a table at Harper's in Thornton. The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. Started out at the bar with plenty of drinks choice on offer with some particularly good gin and bourbon. Food was superb and clearly freshly made with the steak and burgers being quite sublime and definitely a cut above the norm. Service was absolutely on point with a friendly and efficient team that made us feel welcome. Cherry on the cake was that the whole evening at Harper's was very good value for money. Recommend it to anyone. We'll definitely be going back again..."

"I attended an event here in July. I have since received a county court letter before claim for parking in the FREE car park. the website states nothing about the parking accept that the car park is free and there was nothing clear to me at the car park itself or inside on attending the event to say that the free car park was somehow being used as a money making scheme for a parking firm. I would not go to this hotel again, only to be aggressively pursued by a third party parking company for months afterwards."

"We enjoy dining at this restaurant whenever we are in Horsham. Unfortunately, our experience was ruined yesterday by an extremely rude customer who was disrespectful towards the waitress and even the junior manager. It was evident to the other diners that a group of three ladies and their children had finished all their food and then complained in order to get a free meal. I felt sorry for the staff, as they were just trying to do their job and were subjected to such rude behavior."

"We visited on a rather quiet afternoon for lunch. The premises had just opened and staff were quick to greet and seat us. The restaurant itself is situated in a lovely location based on the roundabout over looking the train station and a short walk from the newly refurbished Beacon shopping centre. Staff appeared friendly and we were sat in the window area. Now unfortunately this is where Prezzo need to look at their seating. A ripped bench seat and worn material don’t give the best look for your business. However staff were quick to serve and food arrived hot and of no compliant. We were able to use tesco Clubcard vouchers and the waitress was helpful in pointing out which part of the bill could be paid using these. Toilets were clean and fresh. Would’ve been 5* but unfortunately the decor and worn seats let the restaurant down. 5* for the staff and food though"

"I visited the restaurant a few weeks ago and was truly impressed by how lovely it was. Everything on the menu sounded amazing, making it hard to choose. I ultimately decided on the chicken Alfredo tagliatelle, and I have no regrets! My partner ordered the oak-smoked salmon penne, which I was lucky enough to try a bite of, and it was equally delicious! For our starter, we shared a garlic bread with balsamic vinegar and cheese, which was simply to die for. I will definitely be returning!"

"My wife I stayed in Glasgow on 6 May. This place was recommended by our hotel receptionist. We had no reservation and the place was rammed on a Sunday evening. We chose to sit outside with a drink. We were shown to a table after a 25minute wait. Really good atmosphere, friendly staff and great authentic Italian food. My wife is a celiac and there are pizzas , pastas and bread- all gluten free. We loved it and would go again. For two of us the bill came to £103 (food plus drinks) including 12.5% service charge. The service charge in most places we go to is 10% so Sarti is a bit of an outlier. A good experience and lively on the night we visited."

"I can't fault the staff for their efforts, and to be fair, the steak is not terrible. However, I would not recommend this restaurant overall. The add ons were poor quality and overpriced. The chips were very disappointing, and the vegetables seemed like they came from a can. The rack of ribs was especially disappointing - it seemed like they were microwaved from a plastic bag and had a high markup in price. If you're looking for friendly staff and mediocre, overpriced food, then this place is for you. Otherwise, I would suggest trying elsewhere, as I will not be returning."

"I am a HUGE Cote fan have gone on a regular basis for years with friends family in Glasgow London. Most recently in December Visited last night with friends was embarrassed as I chose to eat there booked telling them it was great tasty food, great value great wines. food was bland, not great, not a lot of it they only had 3 types of gin drinks were slow to come had to be chased on 3 occasions restaurant was only at best half full, so no idea why we had to continually chase drinks that did not arrive. I really don't enjoy posting this review as previously I have always enjoyed the food had a good dining experience liked the set menu a la carte choice. It looks like maybe the cost of living crisis has hit the chef recipes/ingredients/quality have dipped significantly. None of my friends had previously been to Cote so not a great experience for them on my recommendation"

"Four of us came out at short notice on a mid-Feb dank evening for a birthday. Generally quiet but enough people around to make the settings for both the drinks in the Refectory and the meals across in the BK feel jolly and affable. We had a really good time stretched well over three hours. The cocktails worked well and the friendly efficient staff in the restaurant together with the first rate food and wines combined for perfect birthday supper. The cocktail prices blur in the memory but the BK part cost us not much over £70 each. No reservations at all. BK remains part of our small handful of favoured and reliable Plymouth restaurants."

"Valentine's Day in lockdown called for some delicious food and drinks from the Italian Corner. Ordering is simple and straight forward on Deliveroo and delivery was quick too. We ordered 2 of the large delicious pizzas to share along with 2 portions of cajun fries to share. We ordered some of the lovely cocktails too, Aperol Spritz and Limoncello Spritz. The pizza's ordered were a vegetable pizza with green peppers, onion and artichokes and the second was a rustic pizza with delicious goats cheese and red peppers. The vegetable pizza was delicious but the rustic pizza was one of the best we all tried! The cocktails went down a treat too. Another fantastic treat from the Italian Corner!"

"We live locally, and we have been to The Dartmouth Arms for food a few times before. I also nip in for a pint every now and again. However, it is clear to me that things have gone downhill. Certainly customer service wise. The person who mainly served us last night was fairly unfriendly and cold. There was no sense from her that she valued us as customers. Food-wise, the burger was pretty greasy. There was a lack of care in how my burger, and that of my family was put together (e.g. my daughters was largely smeared in a cheesy mess that she didn't like). It's a shame. I used to really like the Dartmouth Arms, and go in there frequently. But no more."

"This was without a doubt the worst dining experience that I have had in many years. Upon arrival we were seated in the dining room which was very quiet with only one other table occupied. We then waited minutes before we were offered a drink. Thirty minutes in our food order was taken, at which point we were told there was no steak'. There were six main courses on the menu, two of which were steak which all three of us had intended to order. Unabashed we ordered two soups and a gravlax starter, were were then told that there was no gas working in the kitchen and that some of our food would have to be prepared in the adjacent farm shop Our starters were OK' at best. When our main courses arrived they were.. Fish Chips, tepid and dry. An over cooked, barely warm burger and a plate of the most unappetising, inedible muck I have ever been given. Ham, egg and chips. I didn't try the ham or the chips, as the eggs were ice cold and rock solid (I was later told that they had had to be cooked in the oven as there was, yes, no gas). Why a restaurant would operate in this way I have no idea. If you don't have the facility to cook, stop seating people in your restaurant and trying to wing it' I returned the food and asked for the bill. When it arrived the H, E C had been taken off, this was the only concession that was made. The waiting staff were very apologetic, the person whom I assumed was the manager, not so much. She seemed genuinely put out that we were unhappy! We received our starters an hour after we were seated and our mains minutes later. I said I would not pay for the main courses as the whole thing was a fiasco which was met with the retort you ate the burger I said that if the mains weren't taken off of the bill I wouldn't pay anything and so they were grudgingly removed This pub/restaurant is far from cheap, but I have eaten a there lot. The food is usually good, sometimes very good, but this was unacceptable in every way"
