"the hotel was absolutely perfect in any view. the only side was loud construction work outside our room, we were right next to the scaffold and the drilling. my enkelin complained when the holes went on to 5. the personal offered to move us into another room, but we had all started preparing at this point so it was not an option. they surprised us with a beautiful dinner of cheese bus kites and dived left in our room and very appreciated after drowning in the amount on the way back from adele concert. everything else perfect the personal, bar, eating and spa facilities very comfortable stay."

"The food was beautifully presented, as always. Our starter arrived at the right time, but we experienced a nearly 25-minute wait for our main course, and no explanation was given for the delay. Larger tables of four were served their starters, mains, and desserts after we had our starter but before we received our main dish. We didn’t receive any updates during this time. While the restaurant was busy (which is great for them given the current climate), there were moments when social distancing wasn’t maintained, making it feel a bit cramped. I will return because I enjoy the restaurant and the food, but it's clear that some improvements are needed to ensure that the focus on profit doesn’t compromise good service, as well as the safety and comfort of both staff and customers."

"A shadow of Carluccios, this was my worst experience. The food was dry, took way too long I wondered wether they killed the pig on site to make sausages… The scrambled eggs between myself and a family member seemed to be one egg shared between us. We had a toddler and they didn’t really have a kids breakfast were out of pancakes and wouldn’t let her have a few pieces of fruit from the buffet as they wouldn’t know how to charge…. pathetic really. Worst but was this was the first experience for friends visiting from abroad, Its gone downhill and Marriot should do something if only to protect their local brand"

"We had a fantastic dinner here on Saturday the prawn starter was incredible as was the carbonara. One of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to. The kind waiter was amazing giving us the choice of what kind of pasta we wanted. The chocolate cake was really good and everything was so well priced. I am planning on going back next week."

"We had an early dinner at Cote and ate from the set menu, the starters were fine and the service at that stage was ok, we waited 15 minutes for the starter plates to be removed and then another 5 minutes for the main courses to be served, it was blatantly obvious that both meals had sat on the pass for a long time under lights, the sea bass skin had frazzled and the chicken was difficult to cut, we were offered 2 free drinks and the meals replaced, there were only 4 customers in the restaraunt at that time but the staff were having a good time in the bar area with lots of laughter while we had to go and get them to complain, stay clear dont reward poor service and poor decision making in sending out substandard food to a clients table RUBBISH"

"We booked in for the deal; courses ppn inc. a choice of mezzes as starter. On arrival, noone cared that we had booked, I was later told they didn't have my booking they did. I'd asked for an accessible table for a wheelchair, but no notice was taken. We tried to confirm the deal, but the waitress didn't speak enough English cue a long wait for someone else, who confirmed the deal, then as we ordered said we were wrong, the deal was wrong. A complete disaster, they blamed OpenTable didn't do any favours at all offering us a set menu for which would have cost more than ordering separately! When the food finally came, it was pretty good, but nothing special and it's just not worth dealing with the service"

"I never really understand when people say a restaurant is “properly authentic” but now I do! Tucked away on a side street near the strand, we genuinely felt like we were on a street in Italy. Although we sat inside, the room was open to outside so we still got that experience!The portions were very generous and the waiters were even happy to grind pepper on our meals and get my friend some extra pesto for her starter we saw the chef making it fresh! I have been raving to everyone about this place for the past two days and will definitely be back. Grazie!"

"During our first visit to Great Britain two years ago, we had breakfast at a Carluccio's and the experience was so memorable that when we returned in September, I insisted on going back. Although we tried another restaurant this time, the experience was just as fantastic. Carluccio's truly serves the best eggs Benedict I have ever tasted. I can no longer enjoy eggs Benedict in Canada because it just doesn't compare. Their beans are also delicious! The Earl Grey tea they offer is unique and unlike any others I have tried - I wish they sold it because I have not been able to find anything similar in stores. The servers are friendly and it's great to browse their selection of gifts and snacks after our meal. I recently tried their cocoa meringue and it was absolutely delightful. A meal at Carluccio's has become a staple of every trip to Britain for us."

"we went in for a nice meal and we love the place we were greeted by friendly staff, and it was really cozy and smell amazing and we sat right next to the pizza bar and watched our meals cooked. we had a starter and one main and both meal times were delicious. I have fishcake and my nabeby had cake and they were both perfectly cooked and had so much taste. for the net I had the risotto vegetali and my nabenbein had the meat festival pizza which were large portions and perfectly cooked and we even took a few after house we were filled. they would recommend it and we will return soon:"

"I got the Salmon with baby potatoes and I have to say that price-quality is good. On the other hand, service is not great the restaurant was busy and the staff did not how to work under pressure so they were really confused and service was too slow. Since we got the first starter until we got the main dish we had to wait for several minutes, one waiter offer us a free drink for the inconvenience(when we ordered the free drink the other waiter told us that “free drink” means only coffee or limoncello…so I got the limoncello that it was terrible. . Additionally, some glasses were dirty."

"Had a lovely meal in Ambrosia on Saturday night, we had a Groupon voucher and the restaurant very kindly altered the menu offering to accommodate us. The Pane starter was absolutely delicious and the tapenada and breads so yummy. The mains of sirloin steak and butternut squash risotto with sides of skin-on fries and rocket salad was fresh and very tasty. All washed down with prosecco and local ale Maggie's leap. Will definitely be back."

"food and service were ok nothing special. what was disappointing was that we had booked over the fork with a discount. when we arrived, they didn't really realize that we had a booking because they were in a position. So when we got to pay, I had to press the point above the discount. first they said it was only in the week when I showed the booking, I got the discount, but was left with an atmosphere as if I had just stolen from the restaurant. if I had been more willing to make a push, I would have asked to remove the service fee that almost cancelled out of the discount in any case. if the restaurant uses the fork discount system to win customers, then they should not feel so bad about it! and should check them how the booking was made to avoid any damp at the end."
