"The food at this restaurant is really good, but what truly made the bottomless brunch special was the waitress named Nikol. She made the experience unforgettable and I will definitely be returning in the future."

"Beautiful restaurant! The decor was elegant and IG worthy. The staff were superb, very friendly, accommodating, and attentive. Would go back just for the service The bar is off the hook. Fantastic whiskey selection with even top shelf whiskeys from Japan. Great Gins and vodkas, better selection then the majority of bars. The music ???? was also really nice, we actually stayed for drinks after dinner just to listen. The food was also excellent, the chili chicken was our fav , and we loved the mixed veggies grill. ???? My only slight disappointment was the Tandoori Soya Chaap. I think the texture was good, but it needed some sort of sauce, it was a bit dry on it's own. But everything else was good!"

"this is the first time that we used his restaurant and we were inspired by the number of cars that were regularly seen in the parking lot, along with parties in the garden. we visited on Thursday night, as we did not expect it to be too busy. the menu is small, but that's okay when eating is good. we asked the waiter about spicy popadoms, but he didn't seem to hear us and was more interested in customers just arriving. unnecessary to say we have simple popadoms so not a good start. there is nothing to say how hot a court will be and although my man asked that his goat curry be crazy hot, my court was even hotter than being. I had dhaniya murg and it was hotter than any other meal, so I had to fade and ended with the cadai murg, which was ok, but nothing special. my daughter had lime chilli tikka and although the presentation of the plate was nice, the hen itself was covered with light green paste, which I think coriander leaves shaken with something, although it was on the inside pink as it was not properly cooked. we sent this back and it was reduced by our bill, but not a pleasant dish, even if it had been properly cooked. we will not return to the Indian farm in the yew tree, as there are many other local different Indian restaurants where eating is much, much more beautiful. what a disappointment."

"Sea Spice provides a delightful dining experience with standout dishes such as Paneer Makhanwala, Paneer Achari, and Dhal. The Paneer Makhanwala is a creamy delight, featuring a rich tomato gravy and perfectly spiced paneer. The Paneer Achari offers a tangy and bold flavor with achari spices, providing each bite with a burst of taste and some of the softest paneer pieces I have ever tasted! The Dhal is exceptional, creamy, and full of rich, comforting spices. Sea Spice truly shines in serving authentic and unforgettable Indian cuisine."

"This establishment is straightforward and simple, a great spot to savor authentic Caribbean cuisine. The service was hospitable and the menu had a wide variety of options to suit all tastes, including vegans. The vegan dish I chose was extremely delicious and satisfying, and I also ordered a side dish which was cooked perfectly. The drink selection was also impressive, and I will definitely be returning for another visit soon."

"First time here, Morgan was our server, very friendly and attentive, she helped me decide on the goat curry as my choice, my partner had mo'bay chicken, both meals were lovely. The Mac and cheese we shared wasn't amazing. There was a very loud group in that ruined the atmosphere. We'll be back to try other options on the menu. Overall we enjoyed the meal, thanks Morgan!"

"our oldest daughter had eaten here before and enjoyed eating. modern european with a Caribbean swirl is a good overall description of the menu and the aromen and ingredients of the dishes I ordered, certainly boring. the salt fish and akee starters were light, tender and pretty with a good amount of taste. followed the spicy bark with garlic and broccoli strands. there was in my view exactly the right amount of heat that tasted the palette antique and the flesh in the mouth in a wonderful sauce. the maische was well made, but I would personally welcome more garlic and the broccoli was cooked directly with a small amount of bite. a large selection of dressed, my wife enjoyed the same main before the suppe of the day, flower cauliflower and kumin, that was silky smooth and lightly seasoned and my daughter did not lack for food, though vegan. after their appetizer the curtain followed a herbal curry with the same garlic mash instead of the rice. both set menus that are good for 2/3 dishes, and al a carter are available along with a good selection of wines and cocktails. I loved the ambiente, comfortable chairs, reasonable but inconspicuous music and attentive staff. we will come back when we visit margate."

"Unfortunately this place is not what it used to be. We were please to see different mixed grills were now on the menu but they just aren’t the same as other places which is a shame (the lamb chops were good though . The tandoori naans were thin and burnt and went hard after 5mins (they used to be so nice and fluffy one upon a time . There are no baby changing facilities for mothers/fathers so they have no choice but to do it on the seating area in the restaurant. Lastly, we were celebrating a birthday and although we were allowed to bring the cake out (it was a small one! we were not allowed to consume it. We were told it was fine by one person but then another said no! They had some rubbish about allergies. This is rubbish as they have an allergy note up by the bar. All restaurants I’ve been too allow birthday cakes to be served. This put a real dampner on the evening. I’ve been going to the Vine for around 32 years now, when it used to have plastic picnic tables tables and grill items were served on foam plates. Unfortunately, we won’t be going back now."

"Our First time here and will be our last, very disappointed. We came for lunch met up with my son who is on his lunch break. The service was very slow, like it name “turtle” there was only one waiter and one bar staff. So it was understandable. But it wasn’t busy when we sat down we was 4th table in the restaurant. We waited over an hour and our main haven’t arrived. I mention to the waiter 10 before my son lunch break is over that my son is in a hurry to return to work. After ten minutes later still not arrived. In the end my son had no lunch had to leave. Our food came but was not worth waiting for my Jerk chicken was burnt on the outside and it tasted burnt on the meat. I couldn’t eat it. My husband salmon was cold. The coconut rice have no coconut flavor and it was cold. The table was sticky. So I wouldn’t recommend poor food, slow service, and if you are in an hurry definitely no no."

"I paid $60 for biriyani which was good, a fish main dish that was a bit watery, rice, and $6 for 2 prawns. The portions were not very big and nothing special for the price. For better value, I recommend trying Indigo or Desi instead. I was expecting something exceptional for the price but was disappointed. I could have spent half the amount and had a more enjoyable meal elsewhere. If you're looking for something special, I suggest going somewhere else. I meant to say pounds, not dollars. I ordered on May 25th. It is true that you don't offer a prawn dish for 6 pounds, as I paid 12 pounds for lahshuni prawns and only received 2 overcooked prawns. I can provide a screenshot of my receipt if needed. I was unimpressed when I was expecting to be impressed by your food. The quality is on par with a mid-level takeaway. Desi in Hyson Green, just 5 minutes down the road, and Indigo in Mapperly offer better value and quality spices."

"I 've been to Nanban before and loved it but this meal was marred by poor service and one very rude waitress. Everything was fine until we were brought the menu for a second time to look at desserts and then no one came to take our order. We were sat in a corner at the front and another couple were also waiting to order their mains. I had to wave to get the waitress 's attention for both tables in the end. It was pretty irritating. A different waitress then brought us the green teas we had ordered and announced that usually, customers were only allowed to stay at a table for two hours but she wanted to let us know that she 'd checked with her manager and it was ok for us to stay and finish our drinks. When I tried to point out to her that the only reason we 'd taken so long was because no one came to serve us, she spoke over me and kept saying: 'I 'm telling you that it 's ok to stay ' as if she was doing us a favour. I asked to speak to the manager who is a lovely guy but I don 't think anyone really understood why the situation was so annoying. If you want to get customers through your restaurant in a couple of hours then try serving them faster."

"The service at this restaurant was incredibly slow and the staff was lacking in attitude. The environment was very inconsistent. However, the food was excellent. We tried the Nasi and it was delicious and fresh. Despite the initial concerns about the service, we ended up enjoying the experience. The employees seemed reluctant at first but made an effort to ensure we had a pleasant dining experience. I'm not sure if I would return, but who knows."

"We had a great time at Iguanas on Sunday evening. The atmosphere was great and the cocktails were delicious. The food was good, but not quite as excellent as we've had in the past; it felt a bit like a chain restaurant. Nonetheless, we still had a wonderful evening and want to thank our waiter for the great service."

"This pub is dog-friendly and has a charming, cozy atmosphere with open fires. The food and service are excellent, and the price per person ranges from £10 to £20. The recommended dishes include Fish and Chips served with a choice of Garden or Mushy Peas and Tartare Sauce. Overall, this place has top ratings for its food, service, and atmosphere."

"This restaurant has the best breakfast in town, hands down. I ordered the French toast with bacon and maple syrup, and it was absolutely delightful. My friend had the omelette with tomato, and it was delicious as well. The food is top-notch and reasonably priced, and the staff is attentive. I frequent this place regularly and highly recommend it."
"OMG THE SIZE. NEW PICTURE. (New picture of Chicken Jalfraz and Pepper only) As you can see loads more Good for large party's and Take Aways. (All the time, 16 years now. boy the time just goes by. ha ha). Great food again always. And I always ask them to make my Aloo Gobi in the style of my hot meal which ever version am having. Nice touch. They made my two tonight (Madras style) but cut the potatoes and cauliflower smaller added gravy and the spices. OMG. IT CHANGED THEM 100%. So much so my friends wanted to try them more. Lucky I got two. Which they are happy to do."

"We visited around 1:30 PM on a Friday, and while the restaurant was quiet, the bar had quite a few patrons. We received a warm welcome from our Nepalese host and were seated at our table in the cozy restaurant, which was pleasantly warm (especially appreciated in November). The lunch menu was offered, and there’s a separate one for the evening. Our drink orders were taken promptly—a large bottle of Gurkha beer and a wine with lemonade. We chose to start with handmade noodles that were accompanied by two spicy sauces. And when I say spicy, I mean they really packed a punch! For our main courses, we opted for a lamb dish and a goat curry, both served with the fluffiest, simplest rice I’ve ever tasted. Both curries were exceptional—rich in flavor and generously portioned with meat. The lunchtime servings were not enormous, but just enough to satisfy our appetites. For dessert, we shared the banana fritters. They served us four portions, and we were delighted to share this lovely treat. The total bill was around £30, including drinks. Overall, we enjoyed a pleasant experience with fast and polite service. The ambiance was charming and clean, albeit a bit dated, and the food was delicious and served at a good temperature, offering excellent value for money. The pub also has good parking and clean, easily accessible restrooms. My recommendations: definitely try the Gurkha beer, which is crisp and has a nice hoppy flavor. And don’t skip dessert—it would be a shame to miss it!"

"Called in for a drink a couple of months ago and was initially impressed- well kept beer, nice atmosphere, super-friendly landlord. On the basis of this, we returned for food, which seemed to be in the hands of the landlady/cook, rather than the landlord we'd previously met. What a contrast- whereas he's the perfect host, she appeared to be grumpy to the point of rudeness- more suited to running a back street takeaway than a country pub. We overlooked this hoping for good food, but the extensive menu was a giveaway that although this may have been home cooked at some point, most items were just reheated on demand. Very average considering what so many pubs are offering. Looking at the other customers, it feels like the Wooden Spoon relies on unadventurous OAPs wanting comfort food for its business- more nursing home than country pub."

"First time trying Caribbean food and it was SO good!!! We got the boneless and the half jerk chicken with the spicy sauce and it was absolutely delicious. Perfect level of heat and so flavoursome. The dishes were very big!! Good value for money. The corn ribs were so good we wanted to eat a hundred more lol and the cheese empanada was the same. Highly recommend!"
