"This wasn’t our first visit (the previous occasion was more positive than this) but this was really quite poor. Problem after problem, service was poor and just not very welcoming. Firstly, drinks weren’t available issues with draft, but then bottles weren’t available either. So there was a very limited selection of drinks on offer and the staff weren’t proactive in advising what was available. So it was request and receive a no! Secondly, the food was poor. The starters were shocking. Really quite bad. There was a bit of redemption from some of the mains, but we elected to not proceed with anything else as it wasn’t great. We had to wait ages for drinks and foods to arrive despite the fact that the restaurant was practically empty and many staff present. Frequently there were 3 staff at the back of the room standing about chatting, but they weren’t attentive to our needs. They didn’t check around the room to see if guests required additional drinks or require plates clearing. They didn’t check to see how the food was and when we complained regarding a starter they simply didn’t know how to handle it. When the draft beer came back on there was no proactive behaviour in returning to the table and letting us know so that more drinks could be ordered. Drinks were poured in wrong glasses, plates were cleared whilst people were still eating and then not cleared when they needed to be! Simply put the staff working had no idea on what table service should be perhaps they had received no training which is a major failing when the restaurant is part of a hotel. It was not welcoming. The restaurant was freezing cold. The service was really very poor and the food disappointing. They also don’t take dogs which in Aldeburgh is a bit weird. There is plenty of space and the tables are large so they would not be in the way. We won’t be returning."

"Really lovely restaurant, super friendly staff, fantastic food, nice unusual bottled beer (not Kingfisher or Cobra! nice atmosphere, efficient friendly knowledgeable waiting staff and we had a pianist playing on Saturday evening who was great, it really added to it. If you're looking to go for a curry in Hythe, don't bother looking anywhere else, just get in here and enjoy! Vegetarian options: Really unusual jackfruit curry, very tasty, first restaurant i've seen using jackfruit."

"Having been raised at the knees of Caribbean and African women, sometimes I’m just in need of some soul food. I’ve often gone past Mullins and seen that it is busy, and looks bright, clean, warm and friendly. And it is. The decor works really well. Low-key, warm and welcoming. Music is a soothing stream of lilting Caribbean classics. The waiting staff are lovely. So friendly. And the menu looks great. There isn’t too much of it, and it is quite hard to choose because it all sounds amazing. Price points are really good. But. The food is genuinely terrible. I went for a Creole fish stew. I don’t know how you can make a stew without flavour. When you are cooking things slowly and together, flavour infuses flavour. But not here. This was a good sized portion of piping hot well presented food. But my God it tasted awful. Basically chopped potato surrounded by small lumps of bland unidentifiable white fish, half a dozen mussels, some of which were still closed, and therefore inedible, and three flavourless prawns in shells. There was a pinch of Samphire on the top, and this was the sum total of the vegetables I could find. It came in what I can only describe as a thick red sauce. If there was tomato in it, there was no flavour to it. It was highly salty, and this was the dominant flavour throughout. The fish had no flavour of fish, and it was intensely spiced in a lip plumping way. Essentially, it was all heat and salt. With a slight tang of gents toilets. I suspect this was from the mussels. I did raise the blandness twice with the waiter, and the strange unpleasant toilet flavour. He said he would tell chef. And that was that. No feedback on the dreadful flavour other than that it was all fresh. I ate the entirety of the meal because I had travelled a long way and had not eaten. I saw it simply as fuel. It was not enjoyable. I paid and left. Mullins is so close to getting everything right, but a restaurant is its food. I’m not going back."

"I can't recommend this place enough! my friend and I have watched a matinee performance at hippodrome. when it was Saturday, happy hour and super busy the service was absolutely brilliant. beautiful lady who shows us on the table. Nice that all bar staff make their famous cocktails as soon as they enter, the mood is fantastic. we had a young lady who served us, who was attentive and always ensured that our meal was in order and we were attracted to our drinks. food was from this world! I am back, yes definitiw."

"Our First time here and will be our last, very disappointed. We came for lunch met up with my son who is on his lunch break. The service was very slow, like it name “turtle” there was only one waiter and one bar staff. So it was understandable. But it wasn’t busy when we sat down we was 4th table in the restaurant. We waited over an hour and our main haven’t arrived. I mention to the waiter 10 before my son lunch break is over that my son is in a hurry to return to work. After ten minutes later still not arrived. In the end my son had no lunch had to leave. Our food came but was not worth waiting for my Jerk chicken was burnt on the outside and it tasted burnt on the meat. I couldn’t eat it. My husband salmon was cold. The coconut rice have no coconut flavor and it was cold. The table was sticky. So I wouldn’t recommend poor food, slow service, and if you are in an hurry definitely no no."

Beautiful staff on arrival greeted you and took drinks order and also an order for take away and also and order for eating at premises myself. Atmosphere magical great people always sitting around you. food arrived quickly and was mouth watering delicious ,had to put some food in container as it was too tasty not to finish laster at home or next day . would highly recommend to families and couples and singles. "Lovely food and good value for money. A lovely place to have some curry in a fancier setting.I went with a party of 4 and booked a table which I would recommend doing. I got to taste lots of things and I would recommend the lamb pudino bot with a chicken tikka masala starter. "I have visited this restaurant a few times and have always enjoyed the jerk chicken, which is a perfect meal with no complaints. However, my most recent experience trying the beef Ramadan roast was disappointing. The beef was too rare for my liking, making it chewy and lacking in flavor without the jerk sauce. The Yorkshire puddings seemed to have a unique batter that didn't quite work, and the potatoes were stale. The vegetables and plantains were the best part of the meal. I ended up swapping with my friend's chicken from her Ramadan roast, which was a better choice. The lychee mocktail my friend had was lacking in lychee flavor and was bitter, but adding syrup helped improve the taste. This was the first time I left dissatisfied with the food at Guanabana. I would recommend sticking to options like the jerk chicken, as I have not tried it recently. The restaurant offers prayer space in the back outside, which I appreciated, and the customer service was efficient. Prices are reasonable."

"The worst experience i 've ever had in a nightclub. If I could give 0 stars I would. Decided to go here for my birthday after securing a free table, entry and drinks with a student Alist card. We got there early upon the advice of one of their staff via facebook message. We were seated but had to show proof of email confirmation twice to bring the drinks over. All was fine until about 2 hours later when we walked back over to the table to find another group sat there. After enquiring as to what was going on I was approached by the manager who informed me that he had resold our table to another group because we weren 't buying bottles for the table. There was absolutely nothing in the email or message I received from their staff that stated this as a prerequisite for keeping the table all night. When I complained that 's not what we were promised, his reply was 'I 'm the manager I can do whatever I like. ' Now that 's customer service for you!! I was treated in the most hostile manner and spoken to extremely rudely, it was almost as if he had come over geared up for a fight because he knew it was going to upset us. I cannot express how disgustingly I was spoken to for simply taking up an offer that was available. Upon moving from the table, we then discovered our coats that had been left there had also been removed. We asked a member of staff where they were, who directed us to the cloakroom where of course they were no where to be seen. We then found the same member of staff to tell him they weren 't in the cloakroom to which he simply shrugged. Regardless of the fact that we had obtained the table for free it was an offer the club was happy to promote, I still brought 20+ people in early to the club who were buying multiple drinks. If you aren 't able to follow through on it don 't offer it in the first place. Simple. We received no communication that informed us if we didn 't upgrade and left the table we would lose it, which if we had would have solved all the problems. Even despite this, the way the situation was handled was diabolical. If I had been approached and informed of the situation, there was another group wanting table service, paying full price, would we mind moving etc and offered us a drinks voucher or something I wouldn 't have been nearly as cross. I didn 't even get so much of an apology, not to mention the fact the whole **** reason I had VIP was because it was my birthday, which was totally ruined by the way. I will never set foot in this place again and I will make sure everyone I know hears about it. The rudest staff I have ever come across if you want to have a half decent night you 'd be better off in Wetherspoons."

"I hadn't been to Anupam in many years, recalling it as a great Indian restaurant. When I returned to Malvern, I decided to dine there with a friend. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. The waiter's behavior was odd and nearly rude. His comment about Jalfrezi being "what you people eat," followed by a dismissive remark that it wasn't suited for Indians, was off-putting. I chose to have a Madras instead, but the entire meal left much to be desired. The Madras was more like a watery soup with only four pieces of chicken. It was, without a doubt, the worst curry I’ve ever tasted—bland, lacking spices and heat, and reminiscent of eating flavorless soup. I’ve decided not to return."

"While on a long road trip across the country, I needed some fuel and stumbled upon this restaurant. The Jamaican curry goat, served with tasty rice, soft roti, and fried plantains on the side, was exactly what I needed. All of this, plus a drink, only cost me about £21. The curry goat was packed with flavor, the meat was tender, and the sauce was delightful. The plantains were also fantastic and you get a generous portion. Overall, the food, ambiance, and price were all top-notch. I would definitely recommend this place."

"I visited Gurkha Sizzler last night with a friend before heading to a gig. Since I'm not from Huddersfield, I relied on Google reviews to help me choose a restaurant, and I knew we were craving curry! We didn't make a reservation, but the friendly waitress accommodated us without any hassle. I've been to some much fancier Indian restaurants lately, but looks can be misleading; I couldn’t fault the service here, and the food was truly exceptional. I had the Matar Paneer, and my friend ordered the Chicken Biryani, both of which were excellent, along with some ice-cold bottles of Gurkha Lager. I absolutely loved it and would go back in a heartbeat!"

"First I went here was early this year but their card machine kept declining my card, which worked everywhere else. I explained how my card was fine, but the guy was borderline rude and didn’t want to hear that it was from their side, so I left. Of course I tried my card elsewhere and it worked. I went back early Nov 2023 for some quesadillas. Service by Claudia was amazing, and my order arrived in 4 minutes. Impressive, even though it was a small order. Ambience was nice, although I did not eat in. Quesadillas: 3/5 Rice was just okay. Dip: 2/5. It was really sour; like super. Couldn’t eat it. I’ll probably return some day to try something else. Wheelchair accessibility: Accessibility is really up to the mall itself. Both escalators and lifts have been out of service all at once, and with no way for disabled persons to know beforehand, sadly. And for long. "This place needs a bit of a revamp. It is aldo a little cramped for our patty of 8. I had the escovich fish, to be honest it was a bit disappointing. I expected the fish to be seasoned up with onions pepper and the trimmings, but it was ok but not what I was expecting. The food was good and service too.
