"We visited around 1:30 PM on a Friday, and while the restaurant was quiet, the bar had quite a few patrons. We received a warm welcome from our Nepalese host and were seated at our table in the cozy restaurant, which was pleasantly warm (especially appreciated in November). The lunch menu was offered, and there’s a separate one for the evening. Our drink orders were taken promptly—a large bottle of Gurkha beer and a wine with lemonade. We chose to start with handmade noodles that were accompanied by two spicy sauces. And when I say spicy, I mean they really packed a punch! For our main courses, we opted for a lamb dish and a goat curry, both served with the fluffiest, simplest rice I’ve ever tasted. Both curries were exceptional—rich in flavor and generously portioned with meat. The lunchtime servings were not enormous, but just enough to satisfy our appetites. For dessert, we shared the banana fritters. They served us four portions, and we were delighted to share this lovely treat. The total bill was around £30, including drinks. Overall, we enjoyed a pleasant experience with fast and polite service. The ambiance was charming and clean, albeit a bit dated, and the food was delicious and served at a good temperature, offering excellent value for money. The pub also has good parking and clean, easily accessible restrooms. My recommendations: definitely try the Gurkha beer, which is crisp and has a nice hoppy flavor. And don’t skip dessert—it would be a shame to miss it!"

Second time we've been. Really nice interesting food. Different to other Asian dishes. Lovely folk who run it.

Me and my partner visited here on a date night and loved it. The food was delicious and very well priced. It's not a fancy looking place which didn't bother us as the food was so good. The waiter was very lovely too.

The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and a wonderfully welcoming environment. The food is authentic Nepalese, and the service is spot-on! I spent quite a bit of time enjoying goat curry and sipping Gurkha beer while watching the Champions League on a Wednesday, after a game of pool. I hope to return one day!

Inside, the restaurant is spotless—scrubbed to perfection. The new owners, who might be Gurkha soldiers, have clearly prepared the space with great care; everything shines. We were greeted by a very friendly staff and seated promptly. Our drinks came quickly, and they were ice-cold, fresh, and sparkling—absolutely delicious. The menu isn’t overwhelming with complicated dish names, but it offers a great variety without being too limited. You can choose your preferred heat level, allowing you to enjoy the authentic Nepali flavors without getting overpowered by spiciness. As for the starters—wow! We tried chicken momo, chili chicken, and potatoes, and I have to say we were blown away. Each d... View menu
