"Our visit to this restaurant was disappointing. It was very quiet, with only about 15 people eating. My colleague and I shared a Tomahawk steak, which ended up being more expensive than we were told. We had to wait 20 minutes for our starters, and then another 50 minutes for our main course. When it finally arrived, we had to send it back to the kitchen to be reheated because it had been sitting out and gotten cold. Our waiter Matteo started off nice but became less helpful once it came time to pay the bill. The bill included a 12.5% service charge, which I was considering asking to have removed. Overall, I would not choose to visit this restaurant again."

"We had been booked on 14th February evening to celebrate Valentine’s Day, I don’t drink alcohol except some events, and not familiar to all drinks. When I asked them to explain about one of them which I hadn’t seen that brand before , two guys who were at the bar was starting to look each other and laughing. They keep laughing all the time when I was standing there. While we were surviving dinner I called waitress by fingers and one of guys who was at bar came to me and told me angrily don’t use your fingers when you need us. He said we do this to our dogs. Well I am from other culture and don’t know about other cultures. I came and apologized from that lady. As a customer my expectation is they should know the UK is full of ethnicities and they should have behaved calmly. So they didn’t make us our Valentine’s night"

"A wonderful interlude after our show was cancelled. Joppe was so attentive and friendly and the rest of the staff were great too. The bathroom was clean and spacious and environmentally friendly with proper hand towels. The drinks menu had everything you could need and everything was easy to find. They use paper straws. Wonderful tapas snacks and beautiful decor. I can really recommend their infused gins. This bar made us want to book the adjacent hotel next time we visit. Really great bar."

"When I asked for the bar snacks menu, I was sent from one person to another just to get a menu, only to be told they couldn't find it and might be out of menus altogether. The quality of the dishes was disappointing. The chicken was extremely dry and served lukewarm, while the crispy squid was just a soggy piece of fried squid that lacked flavor. It's disheartening to see this, and unfortunately, I left as a dissatisfied customer."

"the family called tired and hungry. we ordered 3 lasagna and drinks. they were disgusting! 2 were burned and the other, while they were not burned disgusting! the excuse of the cook was oh, yours was frozen before he heated them. where did they get the cook? the manager (nice guy) said we should have been refunded, but never a refund spent! we have completed the customer form to give feedback and send herrn J.Hutson by email. we don't think it's really important to them! jd wetherspoon they have lost a customer who has visited their pubs several times, but will not visit one of their spatialities again."

"The restaurant is lovely, but our experience was disappointing. There were 6 of us and the food was not good. The lamb kebabs and lamb chops were tough and unpleasant to eat. The service was also poor, with the waiter only attending to us when called. After paying a high price for poorly cooked food, we decided to never eat at hotels again. We had much better meals at other local restaurants such as Sawil and Marie Venna."

"This morning, my husband, son, and I went to this restaurant to pass the time before Sunday opening hours, and since we hadn't had breakfast yet. It was fantastic. The service was very welcoming and excellent. I ordered a gluten-free bagel with tuna, mozzarella, olives, avocado, and a splash of lemon juice. It was absolutely delicious! The BLT bagels were also very good. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a quick bite to eat that's not too heavy for breakfast or lunch. The staff member who served us was very pleasant and friendly. Overall, a lovely experience!"

"We are a family of three and spent the summer at Hillthwaite, where we had dinner several times. Our stay, the meals, and the service were all excellent. Since then, we've purchased a holiday home in Windermere, but we will continue to visit the restaurant for dinner because the food and service are simply exceptional. "I went on Friday night for the first time in almost two years with my usual co-administrators to the king's." I was quite overwhelmed to find the atmosphere intact, everyone relaxed, no mandat nonsense, just do what a pub is to get a table. Relax down and with a drink. to go to a bar and not speak through a plastic screen. the personal was so inviting even after so much time! I really felt humble, these people here really invest in their customers. munchables were the usual what they see is what they get and very satiating standard, delivered fast and hot. I am so glad to be back and hope to visit the king again as regularly as we have done before."

"So we visited Nando’s Manchester Fallowfield Branch for my daughters birthday and was the worst restaurant experience ever. We were left waiting for our food for well over 1 hour with people who came after us getting there food 30 minutes before us and it wasn’t even that busy. So after waiting 40 minutes then asking where our food was, then being told it would be 20 minutes, so looks like they hadn’t even taken my order properly but not being honest about it. Then they had the audacity to ask how my meal was when it finally arrived at which point I made my feelings abundantly clear. The manager then said he would come back to see me to get my feedback on paper but surprise surprise he didn’t bother to come. The food when it came was no where near the standard you would expect dry chicken overcooked. Paying somebody for this level of service is a joke and they should be ashamed of themselves. Honestly they ruined my daughters day and I will never ever be going back. Don’t bother with these guys looks like they no longer care about the customer and service far better places out there to spend your money. Well done Nando’s!"

"Nandos is a choice you won’t regret. There are many branches, so it would be a good idea to find one nearby. They said it was a large portion, so I ordered 4 thighs and 4 sides for 2 people, but the size of the chicken was smaller than I expected, so I hurriedly ordered another one of the same size. I regret ordering 2 menu items with 2 sides from the beginning. (Receipt photo order one more item from menu number 1) It's so delicious and any Korean can eat it without any problem. 2 sets of 4 thighs 2 sides were definitely filling. It would be good to adjust the sides to 2-3. I recommend the side rice and the coleslaw!"

"Walking passed this evening, there where 9 of us walking passed to get out Taxi . There was a homeless person sitting trying to keep warm in this dreadful weather. The door opened from this pub, and a man threw water all over the homeless man, he was soaking. How mean and dreadful, terrible. We shall be reporting this to the police in the morning. "Love nandos! We visit the southport nandos quite often and have never experienced a problem. Particularly like the veggie burgers but t'other half goes for the chicken. I personally don't like chicken, it's fowl... We always have a portion of the deliciously hot and spicy nuts washed down with a bottomless glass of coke. Never had the deserts, don't fancy them really. Like the open kitchen here. The spicy rice and garlic bread make for good, tasty sides as do the chips. The sauces are hot but lovely. Staff usually friendly but we have noticed quite a high turnover but suppose this happens in the trade. Some can be a bit aloof but what the heck! The food's always good!"

"We went along to take advantage of their reopening special offer of a free meal with a newspaper voucher. Right from the off, the staff were helpful and explained the deal and procedure. Three of us ordered steaks, a rare, medium rare, and medium. All three were cooked to perfection. The steaks were large and melt in the mouth. It's probably the best steak I have had for a very long time. Our fourth member had the bog standard pub grub....Balmoral chicken, which she ate and enjoyed too. Again, they did not insult with the portion size. Service was pretty quick and efficient, too. Wine ranged from just under £14 for the house to under 20 quid for a bottle.. Both were decent. As a bonus, by downloading and registering on their app, we got a free drink, and we even got a couple of desserts and a really good strong coffee, courtesy of guy who had a couple of vouchers he passed on to us. They didn't disappoint either OK, this won't happen every time, but as a promotion, it worked because they have gained 4 new customers. If they can keep up that standard of food and service, it will be our go-to for a pub grub night out. Interesting all the staff seemed to be men and no student staff. The weekend might be different, but honestly, they were so professional. A pleasant surprise nowadays."

"Have eaten here half a dozen times in the last year. Decided to do something different for Christmas Day lunch. It did not disappoint. Great mix of traditional and Polish elements. My wife has a number of food allergies and they are extremely supportive and helpful in recommending suitable dishes and even making small modifications to suit. Smallish but very good wine list and one of the best espresso martinis I've ever had."

"We went in last saturday for a meal and a couple of pints, it 's quite a regular thing. It was quite busy and we were lucky to get a table after waiting about 5 minutes. My partner went to order and was gone some time , 20 minutes or thereabouts. I figured she must be chatting to one of the staff as we always have a good laugh with them. Then my partner came to me slightly distressed , she was having trouble getting served even after 20 minutes stood at the bar. She was stood at the corner and the bar staff were seemingly only serving those at the front of the bar, even though my partner had been stood waiting to be served some 15 minutes before a lot of them. She shouted out to the barstaff ' are you serving '? The responded with 'you don 't get served any quicker by shouting ' and repeated this mantra style , trying to wind my partner up, which they did and regretably my partner told one of them to where to go. She realised this was wrong but she is registered disabled and in constant pain and can 't stand for long periods. She didnt want any favours for being disabled, she is too proud to ask for them. All she wanted was to be served when it came to her turn, which was clearly not happening. When I confronted the barman he said 'we don 't really serve here ' I said 'I know, I can see ' He then produced a ' Glass collection only ' placard, 20+ minutes too late. he said it was a non serving area even though there was a visa card machine there on the bar and we 've always been served there before without any problem . On our way out I just happened to look behind me to see 'Sydney ' a female member of the barstaff give the finger and saw her mouth ' off ' Now does anybody think a person like that should be working in the leisure industry ? All 3 of the barstaff were incompetent in my eyes and need a talking to or re-training. We went for a pleasurable night out, not aggro, we 're in our 60 's not yobs. We spent about £20, not a lot I know, we would have stayed longer and spent double that, still not a lot but every little counts. And as for bringing my grandkids here for a treat total spend £40+ I don 't think that 'll happen again. I see the pub wants to increase it 's taking by £2000 every week . . It ain 't gunna happen with abusive barstaff that you had on that night. Thank you. Brian. Ps I emailed and texted the manager to see if we could solve this issue amicably. NO REPLY which says a lot. Pps I hear Darleys do good meals."

Seriously they give themselves some time to sit and read through this evil young, as there are some possibilities, from plus this place is busy and so they have to commit themselves some time and choose! love the doses of authentic ting. grapefruit fizzy drink. recommend the tapas menu that is a wonderful sharer to enjoy with someone. I chose 3 dishes and mh bestie 3 and we were absolutely filled afterwards. in the did not all foods, the large bowl of the cheesey nachos, huge tasty slender garnel and some pork tacos included. very tasty and tasty. I had to help myself with a crippled water, although the restaurant is half empty, but everything is forgiven as I am fully able to stand up and get that from the bar. we will be rehearsing. but avoid them at a weekend, as I sat for hours and this place delivers to deliveroo, which have jumped the waiting queue and I found this frustrating."
