"We went in last saturday for a meal and a couple of pints, it 's quite a regular thing. It was quite busy and we were lucky to get a table after waiting about 5 minutes. My partner went to order and was gone some time , 20 minutes or thereabouts. I figured she must be chatting to one of the staff as we always have a good laugh with them. Then my partner came to me slightly distressed , she was having trouble getting served even after 20 minutes stood at the bar. She was stood at the corner and the bar staff were seemingly only serving those at the front of the bar, even though my partner had been stood waiting to be served some 15 minutes before a lot of them. She shouted out to the barstaff ' are you serving '? The responded with 'you don 't get served any quicker by shouting ' and repeated this mantra style , trying to wind my partner up, which they did and regretably my partner told one of them to where to go. She realised this was wrong but she is registered disabled and in constant pain and can 't stand for long periods. She didnt want any favours for being disabled, she is too proud to ask for them. All she wanted was to be served when it came to her turn, which was clearly not happening. When I confronted the barman he said 'we don 't really serve here ' I said 'I know, I can see ' He then produced a ' Glass collection only ' placard, 20+ minutes too late. he said it was a non serving area even though there was a visa card machine there on the bar and we 've always been served there before without any problem . On our way out I just happened to look behind me to see 'Sydney ' a female member of the barstaff give the finger and saw her mouth ' off ' Now does anybody think a person like that should be working in the leisure industry ? All 3 of the barstaff were incompetent in my eyes and need a talking to or re-training. We went for a pleasurable night out, not aggro, we 're in our 60 's not yobs. We spent about £20, not a lot I know, we would have stayed longer and spent double that, still not a lot but every little counts. And as for bringing my grandkids here for a treat total spend £40+ I don 't think that 'll happen again. I see the pub wants to increase it 's taking by £2000 every week . . It ain 't gunna happen with abusive barstaff that you had on that night. Thank you. Brian. Ps I emailed and texted the manager to see if we could solve this issue amicably. NO REPLY which says a lot. Pps I hear Darleys do good meals."

"Have eaten here half a dozen times in the last year. Decided to do something different for Christmas Day lunch. It did not disappoint. Great mix of traditional and Polish elements. My wife has a number of food allergies and they are extremely supportive and helpful in recommending suitable dishes and even making small modifications to suit. Smallish but very good wine list and one of the best espresso martinis I've ever had."

"a menu that the bevel would give a run for his money. Seriously they give themselves some time to sit and read through this evil young, as there are some possibilities, from plus this place is busy and so they have to commit themselves some time and choose! love the doses of authentic ting. grapefruit fizzy drink. recommend the tapas menu that is a wonderful sharer to enjoy with someone. I chose 3 dishes and mh bestie 3 and we were absolutely filled afterwards. in the did not all foods, the large bowl of the cheesey nachos, huge tasty slender garnel and some pork tacos included. very tasty and tasty. I had to help myself with a crippled water, although the restaurant is half empty, but everything is forgiven as I am fully able to stand up and get that from the bar. we will be rehearsing. but avoid them at a weekend, as I sat for hours and this place delivers to deliveroo, which have jumped the waiting queue and I found this frustrating."

"Me and my partner visited this restaurant while having a one-day trip in mesmerizing St. Andrews. We ordered a sunset burger and of a chicken with garlic bread, rice, and peri-peri fries. The burger was very good yet not outstanding. For those who like...it spicy, I suggest to choose either hot or extra hot spice. The medium spice was relatively mild and didn't feel like it was spicy at all. The addition of a chutney definitely made it tastier. The of chicken was quite juicy and very fresh and tender. The skin was gently grilled adding unique grilled flavour to it. As it was our first visit to Nando's, the waiter, Finlay, introduced us to the restaurant and helped choose the meals. His service was outstanding. On top of the meals, Nando's offers unlimited sauces to every meal, hence we tried a little bit of almost all of them. Generally, I rate this visit as good quality-to-price. Our table was clean as was the whole restaurant. We enjoyed and recommend to both group of friends and couples."

"Ordered a take out in time for the Boks vs Wales game. Having eaten Nando’s whilst living in South Africa (where it originates from) the food was of very poor quality. The chicken livers were chopped up with no sauce at all, the accompanying Portuguese roll which you’re supposed to use to soak up said non existing sauce didn’t arrive. The fives sticks of halloumi arrived as two skinny slices laid at the bottom of a large box of air. The grilled miele was only grilled in one stripe not all over and was over cooked and dry. The coleslaw wasn’t too bad. The boneless thighs were surprisingly dry and lack lustre. Over all the meal was very disappointing and a very pale comparison to the authentic Nando’s. Thank goodness the game didn’t disappoint!"

"4 of us were here last night. Meals were brought out one at a time with several minutes in between and one order did not arrive at all. Girl at the till said we never ordered anything else yet knew what sides had been ordered to go with the apparent non-order. No apology, no discount, no offer of a refund. Just told order would be added on and waved the card machine in our faces. Another order the chicken was rubbery and under cooked. Same girl who claimed to be the manager took the plate away, brought it back saying too much had been eaten to offer a refund and tried to put the plate back on the table. Her attitude was terrible and showed the same disinterest to the table next to us who also had an issue with food being missed off their order. If this girl genuinely is a manager I think you definitely need to work on staff training. Staff should not be shrugging their shoulders completely disinterested when it has been an error on their part and not even offer an apology. The attitude of so called managerial staff in here last night was absolutely abhorrent and we certainly won't be back"

"This Nandos location is extremely busy and I had to wait for 30 minutes for my food, which is a long time by Nandos' standards. The layout of the restaurant was also not ideal, as I had requested a table for one due to being on a business trip, but was seated in the middle of the restaurant at a table for 6, making me feel like a loner. In my opinion, the Nandos on Belmont street is much better. The staff were friendly but did not apologize for the long wait, leading to some customers becoming frustrated. When the food finally arrived, it was of good quality. However, I can't help but feel that this place is overpriced every time I visit, yet I still continue to come back."

"I had an easy time booking online for a busy Friday night during the Christmas Lights switch on. There were plenty of staff and the service was great. The bar was busy so we ordered on the app and our drinks and meals were delivered quickly. There were 10 of us in couples and we all enjoyed decent, hot and inexpensive meals. It is definitely worth a visit. My only complaint was that the music was too loud for a restaurant, but it may have been due to the lights switch on. Overall, well done!"

"My friend brought us to this café for coffee while we waited to have a meal elsewhere. The atmosphere is lovely; it feels more like a café, even though it wasn't very crowded. We sat at a rectangular table and managed to pull up a sixth chair. The waitress gave us plenty of time to decide on our orders, which was appreciated. We ordered three cappuccinos and three lattes. However, the coffee was served at irregular intervals, which made us a bit uncomfortable. One cappuccino arrived first, and the person who received it had to start drinking before it got cold, while the rest of us had to wait. It felt awkward since we weren't all that close, and no one wanted to take a sip of their coffee before everyone else's had arrived."

"This unique kebab shop is located away from Chipstead Tal Street. I visited after work and decided to try the combination of lamb and chicken doner. It was delicious, especially because they freshly cut the meat right in front of me, unlike other kebab places that keep pre-cut meat in a hot container. The chips were a bit smaller than I expected and a little too salty for my taste. Overall, the food quality and service were fantastic, so I would rate it a 3.5 out of 5."

"A week ago three of us where In Walthamstow. Visited the Goose early evening which was a pleasant and comfortable pub, drink prices reasonable and friendly staff, BUT, terrible food. One of our party was unwell that evening and the steak pie I had was soggy and tasted like it had been microwaved? served with chips and a tiny spoonful of peas and frankly only just about edible. We had a similar experience a few weeks earlier in the Golden Lion in Bexleyheath with the same pub chain. Staff are clearly not being managed or properly trained? Would pop in for again for a drink but not the food."
